Thomas Blake has posed:
After 72 hours, Thomas Blake is released from jail and walks slowly home. He enters the house, sees and hears no sign of another person and quickly makes his way to one of his security lockers. He shoves it aside to reveal a square hole. He reaches in to pull out a duffle bag. Sitting on his bed he unzips the bag and extracts a .45 and a ski mask. Then hebegins removing bundles of money and jewelry. He looks very determined.

Megan Gwynn has been running around, looking for a lawyer to help Thomas. She had talked to the contact she found on the fridge but she'll need to find the money to pay him and all that. And she has to have him talk with Thomas and figure this all out. After returning from meeting with him, Megan is pretty tired, and is expecting the house to be empty..

Thomas Blake has posed:
Megan Gwynn gets a sight of Thomas ready to attack as she comes in, a knife ready to throw or stab. Then he looks at the money, gun and ski mask on the floor. He sighs and sheathes the knife. Then holds out his hands for a hug. "Hey... you would not believe the day I had." Sick little smile.

Megan Gwynn thought she heard someone, but assumed it was Rasputin..Wait is he even here or taken into custody? She sighs and rubs her eyes, a long stressful day, frustrated and confused. The last thing she needs to deal with is this..

Dark eyes widen in shock, confusion..Anger.."Thomas! What on earth are you doing?" she notices the ski mask, the gun, and glares at him, backing away. "Are you *kidding* me?!"

Thomas Blake has posed:
Thomas Blake replaces the pistol and the ski mask in the bag. He looks at her levelly. "I'm getting Rasputin back. I have a ton of fines to pay for taking him outside. This other stuff? You really want to know? See the rich assholes in Gotham, particularly their kids like to take their little yachts out beyond Gotham to party. When they party they want pharmaceuticals, human style Pixie dust. Dealers take power boats out to sell them drugs using various signals. Shall I go on?"

Megan Gwynn has posed:
Megan Gwynn frowns, reaching out to grab his hand, the one holding the bag. "No. No more violence, no more lies! I talked to the lawyer you told me about. It doesn't seem promising but we'll figure something out..You promised you wouldn't turn back to a life of crime!" she sighs, glancing at the bag, shaking her head. Her hands are shaking just a bit. Is this really happening? "Well get Rasputin back, I promise, even if it means we gotta go to Africa, it's just a portal away.."

Thomas Blake has posed:
Thomas Blake gets up to hug Megan. "Listen... the police /lost/ the evidence against me. I spread a certan amount around the Big Cat Foundation and they will get me Rasputin back. This stuff... I grab a boat and I take money from the rich assholes so they can't buy drugs or I take the money from dealers and throw their junk over hoard. Who am I hurting? See... Catman wears a costume, not a ski mask. He doesn't use a gun. No one knows it's me. I got the idea from this pirate who robbed the slave trade ... I'm a copyccat. I almost have enough. No more robbery. I'm selling off some stuff. No lies."

Megan Gwynn has posed:
Megan Gwynn shakes her head, "And what if someone catches you? All they have to do is take off your mask and you're back in jail..Are you that desperate for money? Can't you just sell stuff legitimately? Crime begets more crime.."

Thomas Blake has posed:
Thomas Blake looks at her levelly. "I am getting back my tiger. If your group heard of a Mutant being held by Alchemax or the Feds you'd break every law on the books short of murder. And being caught... you run risks as well. Worse risks.You could end up in a laboratory. We're all crooks. And unless they're dressed as an effing Bat... I'd bet on me getting away. f they are dressed as a Bat -I'd still give myself good odds."

"Maybe you should get some rest. I'll call the lawyer." He pushes the bag under the bed.

Megan Gwynn has posed:
Megan Gwynn blinks, and shakes her head..And then..She slaps him hard. "Are you listening to me? You can't do this! It's all gonna go wrong!bIf we're gonna get Rasputin back we can't be dressed like criminals! You got caught once, it can easily happen again! Just..Ugh, tell me where he is and I'll port him out! Or you wanna end up in jail again?"

Thomas Blake has posed:
Thomas Blake grabs her wrist. Maybe a little hard. "Port him where? Back to India? Here? First place they'll look. He's a 600 pound tiger. His DNA is on file! I will handle this. Like I said, I'm selling stuff. This boat jacking was before you even moved in! What f you get caught by one of those big robots? Do I tell you quit the X-Men?"

He rubs his cheek and says, "Don't hit me again. Heroes fight each other. I'm not a hero."

Megan Gwynn has posed:
Megan Gwynn frowns, shaking her head, "Youre not a villain either, and if you insist on going in on this crazy hair brained stunt, I'm coming with you one way or the other! So don't tell me to be a good girl and go to bed!"

Thomas Blake has posed:
Thomas Blake shakes his head. "You don't need to come. I... I'm selling information on AlcheMax to a broker. Brokers in this line keep track of who the good girls and the bad girls are. You kind of stand out. Pink hair, wings, great behind. Listen... let's go get some rest. We'll talk in the morning."

Megan Gwynn has posed:
Megan Gwynn sighs, sinking her shoulders, "Ugh you are soooo stubborn. I can't believe you!" she turns around and storms off, all sorts of unhappy and upset. Mostly upset as tears well up in her eyes as she rushes into the bedroom, slamming the door - or a door, behind her. hopefully not exploding it while she does so.
