Thomas Blake has posed:
Thomas Blake rolls out of bed. Actually the couch. This was in response to be nosed by a tiger. The time reads 3 am. Being a nocturnal sort he knows there's no sleep for him now. He grabs a bottle of Jack off the bar and goes upstairs and out on the roof. He sips the whiskey to keep the chill off him. He thinks about Africa. Things were so simple in Africa. People knew to let him alone. No courts and fines and licenses.

Megan Gwynn has posed:
It's only 3 am but Megan can't sleep, not since her little argument with Thomas a few days ago. She's usually a night person herself, and so she climbs to the rooftop, seeking fresh air. Maybe a good flight will calm her nerves and get her to sleep. She wasn't expecting to see Thomas here however, and she freezes, even as her footsteps give her away.

Thomas Blake has posed:
Thomas Blake takes another sip glancing at her. No talk for a few days. Sleeping apart. Alcohol. He's not the most congenial person normally. Right now he's positively morose. What makes it worse is his ability remain perfectly still, perfectly silent. He acknowledges her finally with a nod. Another sip. Immobile.

Megan Gwynn has posed:
Megan Gwynn draws a long deep breath, stepping up beside him, shivering a bit in her cutie fruity pyjamas and hugs her arms as she glances sidelong at him, "Hiya, couldn't sleep either, huh?" she chuckles nervously, trying to keep it light. Not like she can hold a grudge forever right? But the way her wings are folded tightly against her back gives away the tension she's feeling right now.

Thomas Blake has posed:
Thomas Blake finally relents and slips an arm around his Faerie. For a guy who gets cold easily, he puts out heat like a furnace. the wings tucked against her back broke him down. The vicious Catman. There were 'heroes' out there who might not recognize him right now... though the bottle was a clue. He offers her a sip.

Megan Gwynn was starting to shiver quite a bit, but the warmth from her tiger boy does seem to calm her down, and it feels Soo good. She sighs, leaning in against him, "I missed you, Thomas...I don't wanna be mad at you forever.."

Thomas Blake has posed:
That gets both arms wrapped around Megan. He just nods. Sh gets smushed a little. "Don't slap me. Okay?" he finally asks. The girls feels very good to hug, even shivering. He rubs his chin on top of her head cat like. "I'm not strictly honest. Sorry. But... this world is not a level field. I will do what I need to do to keep you and Rasputin with me and this house. I won't hurt any innocents and I won't rob anyone who'd go hungry. i hav a lot of information left on AlcheMax and I'm selling that to settle our bills. After that I'll behave and wok on my memoirs. I got a couple people interested. OK?"

Megan Gwynn sighs, shaking her head, "I just wanted to talk some sense into you, you know? Not like I was trying to beat you up.."nags pouts a bit, hugging him more tightly, "I get that desperate times call for desperate measures just..Why can't I be a part of this? I just wanna make sure it works out ok in the end..Anything could go wrong."

Thomas Blake has posed:
Thomas Blake holds her close and says, "I'm not jacking boats anymore. I was a kid when I did that. I'm much smarter now. So you wanna jack some bad folks with me? I found those guys trying to sell Mutants. I tracked down their clients and turned most of them and sent off a bunch of emails to various concerned Mutant groups and law enforcement. It turns out the government doesn't want anyone pressing Mutants except them. But this one person... they hav her and are holding out for a high price. I want to get her out. I will taking whatever else I find. Why not?"

Megan Gwynn frowns and nods, "You kidding? If they're hurting mutants, of course I want in! I'm not gonna sit back helplessly while all this shady stuff is happening, and we can watch each other's back. Count me in!"
