Cast of Characters: Talia al Ghul, Inez Temple

Talia al Ghul has posed:
It's rough, it's tumble, and it's a dive. Rather literally on this evening, the cheap paneling that makes up the entryway having given through all the way down tot he basement. More than one unwary bar-goer had taken a tumble down it to rapturous applause and more drinks. The cheap entertainment was provided, making things a little less violent than usual. Drinks were drunk, wagers were made, and chcants of 'Down the HOoollee' filled the space.
Talia Al Ghul sat at a sidet able, casually drinking while irritable.

Inez Temple has posed:
Just the sort of place that could use a little crazy. Inez steps inside and takes a moment to scan the bar, sizing up the crowd. Looking for someone in particular? Maybe. Who knows, with the swift way her eyes move over it.

She steps inside, making her way over towards the bar without making much commentary. She slips up onto a stool, the vast majority of her legs on display in about the shortest possible set of daisy dukes, wrapping both legs around it for stability as she leans over the counter, peering down towards the bartender expectantly.

Talia al Ghul has posed:
Inez Temple.. That's a name recalled by Talia over from some mercenary biographies. The world of reputable metahuman freelance troubleshooters was a rather small one after all, and it was good to keep atop those that could do tehir job well!

Talia would raise a hand over, "You seem far too upbeat being in a place like this. Did you already get drunk before you arrived?" She would deadpan

Inez Temple has posed:
Glancing over towards Talia, Inez arches an eyebrow. "Just 'cause I ain't already crying in my beer doesn't mean I'm upbeat at all." She swirls around on her stool and peers over at the woman, considering the implied invitation. "If I was already drunk, I wouldn't be paying for this crap." She jerks her thumb in the direction of th ebartender, who has yet to make his way over towards her.

Talia al Ghul has posed:
Talia al Ghul would shrug, "Well, the normal routine here is to get someonee lse to pay for your drink. In that case, it's your lucky day. Here has something rather benevolent about it. Namely that the alcohol is cheap." And with an edge of blood to it with how much was spilt here.

Inez Temple has posed:
Shrugging a bit, Inez hops off the stool and makes her way over towards Talia's table. "So, assuming your invite here was to pay for my drink, now I gotta ask why you doing so. Assuming it's not the goodness of your heart." She watches Talia carefully, not yet taking a seat.

Talia al Ghul has posed:
Talia al Ghul would shrug over, "You're an out of towner." She would speak in a flawless narrwos accent. "Normally those avoid this sort of area. When you're not one of the Regulars here and you don't come in missing some limbs, you stand out."

Inez Temple has posed:
"I'd stand out beside all of that," replies Inez, tipping her Stetson at Talia for a moment. "But I suppose that's right. Something I shoudl be worried about, being here, if I am an out of towner? I just assumed this place was crawling with folks."

Talia al Ghul has posed:
Talia al Ghul would mm, "Oh, it's considered.. Somewhat low class even by gotham standards. There's this, some places near amusement mile.. Normally those coming in here do it as they're hit men or bikers."

Inez Temple has posed:
Sniffing for a moment, Inez shrugs. "I mean, it does kind of smell like your standard hive of scum and villainy, so..." Her gaze returns to Talia. "What brings someone like you in here?"

Talia al Ghul has posed:
Talia al Ghul would go to take a sip of her drink, "Oh, returning to old stomping grounds." She lies with a flawless accent from the Narrows. "Hadn't been here in a very long time, thought I'd drop by an dsee how much more miserable the city had gotten." That bit is mostly deadpan.

Inez Temple has posed:
"Seems pretty miserable to me," replies Inez, glancing around. "Is this better or worse than it used to be?"

Talia al Ghul has posed:
Talia al Ghul would smile, "Oh, a bit of both. It's in worse repair but the clientelle seems to have classed up a bit. Or at least they're paying their tabs enough. So, what are you looking for while you're here? Or just wandering?"
