Pre-Heist Pro-Prep
Date of Scene: 23 May 2023
Location: Garage and Armory - Historic Clocktower
Synopsis: Harper shows off some vehicles to help infiltrate the Heist. And the Huntress helpfully reminds Harper that with varied skills available, the best uses of the Birds mean multiple ways to make sure no one gets away with anything. Planning is super important.
Cast of Characters: Harper Row, Helena Bertinelli

Harper Row has posed:
It's a few days before the mysterious automobile dependent heist is supposed to gear up and roll out. Bluebird has requested Huntress to hook up to check out what she's got under the hood.

Under cover of darkness, a pair of vehicles have been wheeled into the garage. Definitely not BoP vehicles. These are loud and works in progress. Harper has more of a mind for electronics and computers, and not so much obnoxiously street illegal rides. But, there is a certain fascination with vehicles that look like they belong in a movie.

Harper's lower half drapes over a bit of the chassis of what looks like what would happen if the Mystery Machine was crossed with a Drag racer. She's rooting around under the hood, her upper half sprawled across the engine and manifolds and whatnots.

The other vehicle seems to be an outrider motorcycle, and it has an honest to god sidecar. So much chrome, so many flames, and extra bits. These are not meant to slip anywhere unnoticed, they arrest the eye and want to keep it.

Helena Bertinelli has posed:
When the agreed on time has come, Huntress makes her way into the garage and looks at the collection of vehicles curiously. "Bluebird" she says to both announce her arrival and acknowledge the legs dangling out from the curiously modified van.

"Did they change the rules from illegal street racing to Wacky Races? Where are you hiding the jet engines and rocket launchers?" She laughs lightly as she walks over to the van.

Harper Row has posed:
Harper's lower half shifts, side-to-side motions until she can wiggle herself along the side of the car and out from under the hood. Her muffled voice comes out a bit weird due to acoustics. "Oh hey!" Her toes point downwards as she slides, and there's a momentary perch on a bumper before she trusts the ground to take her.

She turns around, and whatever she's wearing, it's just...not quite there yet. Make-up like a Raggedy Anne doll. A sleeveless button-up shirt with a fancy collar. It's like one half of a knock-off doll. "Those are literally the first two things I took a look for when I acquired this baby. I had this great idea. We infiltrate, yeah? We're a part of this big Heist. We're planted. Do I look like one of The Crash Test Dolly's?" She doesn't. Not yet.

"I have a pal who is into this racing stuff. With a little word of mouth, I can get two vehicles in to ~help~. And if we get backup from the Birds? Surely we can get better intel of what they're going for, and where it's supposed to end up? There's literally a dozen cars supposed to be involved hitting a bunch of places at once."

Helena Bertinelli has posed:
Huntres doesn't laugh at the garish outfit Bluebird is wearing but it does get a curious look from her.

"Uh... " infiltrate. That means she's going to have to dress up like that too. Right? Her mind is racing over excuses that are remotely rational enough to get her out of Karaoke Kabuki. Something. Anything.

"Sure? It makes some sense" she agrees. Still trying to come up with an out when things move around to her beind dressed up like that herself.

"I'm sure we can get into the operation, like you say. We need to have a briefing before the heist with the team that is going to join in so we're on the same page."

Harper Row has posed:
Harper nods, her lips quirking into a wry smile. "Everyone fitting into this thing like a clown car isn't going to be the best strategic use of our talents, right?"

Her finger a dirty from tinkering, and she swipes her palms together on a rag. "Like the gang war thing. Some on street level, some eyes on higher vantage points."

Harper blows out her rosy-cheeks, her make-up smudged. Probably hasn't realized how badly she's dragged her wrist across her mouth. "I'll lay out everything I know tomorrow night. With your input, and the others, I don't think we'll miss an opportunity. Will keep us from making a big oops. This crap is garish as heck. I sort of would prefer to dress up as some Joker mook than some edgy Doll but...ehhhhh." she grins.

Helena Bertinelli has posed:
Helena Bertinelli says, "Well it's not the most strategic use of -my- talents" she jokes with a wink.

"Right. We'll come up with a plan based on who from the team is going on the op. We'll maximize skill sets accordingly."

"Sounds like a good plan" the meeting tomorrow. Then she looks at Harper directly. "I'm pretty sure nothing would be worse to do than dress up as one of his goons.." considering what happened to Barbara years ago.

"We'll get it laid out and we'll nail these guys hard" she partially agrees, partially assures.
