Talia al Ghul has posed:
It has taken just a bit of finagling for Talia to.. Get Cassandra to the side enough to have the two follow up and talk. Whether or not Cassandra is being evasive, or just that Talia hasn't had the opprotunity. But now the two are alone and have a semblance of privacy (at least as much as any can be had iN Wayne Manor).

"You, little one, are pushing yourself extremely." Talia keeps her words simple and her expression plain and easy to read.

Cassandra Cain has posed:
And how exactly did they get Cass to hold still? Food. Tali has just come in while Cass was stuffing her face, and she looks up with a spoon halfway to her mouth. She looks...distinctly put out. It's a high-protein food supplement, with rice, and she's not even eating food to enjoy it. It's all about improvement lately.

Cass puts the last spoonful into her mouth almost insolently, then chews her food slowly, making Talia wait.

Then, she puts it down. Sits her hands in her lap, and looks at Talia meaningfully. "What," she says. Not asks, she's waiting for Talia to go on with her point.

Talia al Ghul would glance over at Cassandra, and go to sit down. First, there's a carton of chocolate ice cream from the freezer, spoon, an dother things passed over to make a Sundae. "I hit you because I used a trick. NOt because I'm better." That's the first thing - Cassandra's initial excuse for why she went out fighting was as Talia had struck her.

"You understand. So why go out?" She knows that expressing emotions is not particularly easy for Cassandra - or speaking in any way. And so Talia's eyes go to settle over on Cassandra's face. In a way of asking Cassandra to make her body language blatant, to express herself. Using her frame will hopefully be easier than speaking it. Showing it, not saying.

Cassandra Cain has posed:
Cassandra has this stare. She's waiting, until Talia is done talking. Body language or not she's just glaring, until she's clearly supposed to respond. Which is probably half the problem. Cass is the epic all-time grandmaster of not wanting to talk about her feelings. Or anything else, for that matter. But she blows out her cheeks, then sighs.

"Mother tell me thing," she says, her grammar atrocious. "She say, no comfort in good. No get...no be safe. Be strong..."

Frustration on having to explain things, out loud, in English, overcomes her for a moment and she backhands her bowl of gruel into a wall, making a sound of anger. "Why words?!"

Talia al Ghul has posed:
Talia al Ghul looks down a ther and goes to fold her hands together. Cocking her head and expressing wiht her face. 'Better'? Making it clear from her expression the way she intended. Her tone intent on being clear and reassuring.

Her face flickers over as she visualizes Shiva - and then her expression turns to a frown over of disagreement and disproval indicative of Shiva. Dismissal. Ignorance.

Then flat out disdain. Her intent very clear in the matter. Shiva is wrong. Shiva lies. Whether or not Cassandra would directly understand 'Shiva'. But clear enough as Mother.

Cassandra Cain has posed:
Shifting her shoulders, Cass shrugs slightly. She bites her lip, watching the play that happens as she sees Talia, and calms herself with an effort. The woman is making an effort to meet her in her own ground, and that's...appreciated.

But the look that settles into her eyes is stubborn. She twitches slightly when Shiva is mentioned, but meets the rest of Talia's statement head-on. Then, she turns her eyes and looks around. She glances at things darkly.

Things. Expensive things. Luxurious things. Things that are not needed. Then, she looks back toward Talia. Translation: Shiva has a point. This place is weak, and I have to choose.

Talia al Ghul has posed:
Talia al Ghul would shake her head over then in counter-point after letting Cassandra go to make her counterpoint. There's a light 'pfft' over in her eyes then of ever so light dismissal - not of Cassandra. Of Shiva. Her lips would twitch and look fond. The only person she ever looked fond and adoring of. Damian. The dotage easily readable off her face.
    Then a slow shake of her heads. Had she not trained Damian? Had she not seen to all of his upbringing and what he had gone through? And yet by the softness in her eyes and a rising surge of pride.. He was better here. Stronger here.
    And her ponderances went on, her glancing from Cassandra over to her internal reflection of Damian. Strength. Had not the two had very much a similar sort of upbringing when it came to extermes? And yet here she was.. Saying Damian was stronger.

Cassandra Cain has posed:
The slight side to side wobbling of Cass' head suggests a ...well, not disagreement, but not argument either. She allows Talia to say her piece, not really commenting on it either way. But that in itself is a comment. She is basically allowing Talia to have her opinion.

The slight firming up of her jaw suggests that she still plans to work hard, though. "What...was trick?" she asks, aloud. It appears that she needs words for this part.

Talia al Ghul has posed:
Talia al Ghul would go to sit down for a moment. Then considering over with a 'give me a moment to figure out how to explain it' expression over on her face. she settles in and then goes to grab a.. Small tape recorder, old lincoln logs and legos, and some various bits of dust.

The Lincoln Logs she goes to put a small stripe of red over on - indicating the group as a whole. Then a quick gesture over at Cassandra. Then over at the things. Cassandra with the girls. Red. Talia knew the girls. She knew the Reds. Finger raised up - not at the point yet. Explaining still.

Cassandra Cain has posed:
Cassandra Cain waits. She is who she is, and if nothing else she's good at listening. So, she puts one leg on the other knee, then pulls her knee up to her chest. Watching. Not commenting, save to nod at the basic point. This has somethig to do with the Red Room girls.

Talia al Ghul has posed:
The Red Room Girls and Cassandra. Light tap over as then Talia goes to take two of the logs over - the Red Room girls. She moves them about as if the two were sparring/fighting. Just flicking them over a few times to get the point over. Then she goes to take out the tape player. Showing her pressing the recording button. Then putting them through the same moves again. Then her gesturing at herself in the eyes.

How they fought was instinctive. She knew how they fought. She knew how they would move.

Then Talia moves to 'bop' two of her fingers forwards, removing one of the 'logs' and leaving her fingers there. The final one represents Cassandra. The fingers 'her' from their spar.

Cassandra Cain has posed:
Cassandra Cain throws her hands in the air. She gets up, then walks to the nearest wall and bangs her head on it, once, twice. Then she turns around and points at Talia firmly. She points, then points again.

Then, she says, "Teach me how no!" Teach me how to stop doing...that. It's a command, which will probably not go over well. Until she adds, "That how I keep lose, in arena!"

Oh. Others are also using it against her? No wonder she keeps getting her ass kicked.

Talia al Ghul has posed:
Then she goes to put her fingers in. She goes to do the same 'routine' with her fingers as the small logs had been. Then she goes to mvoe the one representing Cass in the action.. Then she does something different with her fingers. The hit.

The choreography to make the point across. Not the arena fights. The specific thing that Talia had -baited- her into.

Cassandra sighs. She's watching, but honestly the little stick figures are not really doing the job for her. Sooooo...she reaches out, grabbing Talia by the shirt, and starts to drag her outside.

Apparently she wants something a bit more substantial than 'stick leans in, does other stick thing'.

Talia al Ghul would just be amused, letting Cassandra go to drag her out again and move to let out a sigh and a grumble - but one that's almost a giggle - well, as much goes off her body language over. Well, if the girl wants to do it this way..

Definitely amusing.
