Emma Frost has posed:
Emma has put in a 'request' by Jennifer to come and meet her. Jennifer hadn't likely given Emma her contact info - but there it had been on her calendar on her phone. Emma's requests tended to be 'of the you can't decline' variety. So, in the lobby of Frost Enterprises, Emma is waiting for Jennifer to arrive. No one else is around and presuming that Jennifer comes through security she'll find no one in her way

Jennifer Stavros has posed:
The 'Um, okay' Jennifer texted back contained the flavor of an elaborate eye roll. She wasn't going to let Emma know whether she dreaded seeing her or not.

The blonde girl had made an effort of sort, dressing in business casual - exaggerated wide-legged pants with a matching waist length jacket in coke bottle green. The crop top under the jacket showing off Jenn's flat, muscled midriff with each stride in her fashionable thick-soled running shoes.

Figuring that Emma knows she'll show up on time so she can avoid getting dressed down for being late, rightly labeled as being passive aggressive, Jennifer breezes up to security like she owns the place. It doesn't surprise her when an elevator chimes in as she passes through the metal detector. Maybe, she is on a roll today and Emma will treat her like an adult. Though how an elevator arriving exactly at the right moment predicts the outcome of the day is hardly logical. Jennifer deeply believes in luck.

Emma Frost has posed:
When Jennifer comes to meet her, Emma Frost has her hands over on her lap as she awaits. "Jennifer, I'm glad you could make her." Her voice calm and not.. Frosty. This is just a checkin, she has no ability to order the girl about nor to get her to do anything. Nor does she want to.

"I just thought I would see how you were doing given the company I met you with last time. Just that you were all right. And that you weren't going to get in over your head without having a release valve to it." gesturing at Jennifer to sit down.

Jennifer Stavros has posed:
Can Emma feel her heartbeat accelerate ^in apprehension? Jennifer sincerely hopes not. She uncrosses her fingers hidden in the deep pocket of her trendy pants and secretly releases a white disc. A little charm might make this interview go her way.

Jennifer's mouth tightens at the mention of the 'company' she had been keeping of late; a little dismissive move of her shoulder gives away what she thinks of the comment. Well, so much for her luck who knows what Emma would have said if she hadn't dropped it.

"Oh, you mean Wade and Domino, Ms. Frost?" delivered with wide-eyed innocence.

Emma Frost has posed:
Emma Frost would nod over at Jennifer, "Yes, the same ones. Among others. I'll not inquire too deeply, but anything with Deadpool and the company he keeps tends to go catastrophically. So all i want to make sure is that you have an exit strategy from it, and to be available if required."

Emma knew she couldn't tell Jennifer to stay out of it, nor did she have the right. So that just meant being available to lend assistance if she needed. And knowing full well that the girl would try to play the odds against her. It was rather refreshing.

Jennifer Stavros has posed:
A cocky little smile shapes Jenn's lips at the mention of exit strategy. "Ye-uh, they're okay. Doms and I have just been having fun with Melissa and Wade has been tagging along. He is ultra-weird but no worries. I'm not doing anything I don't want to do. I don't want to violate parole. Neither do they."

Emma Frost has posed:
Emma Frost would go to take a sip of her tea, and then glance over at Jennifer, "So, what is your situation then that violating parole while running with a group that involves Neena and Wade is an ongoing concern?" That bit actually surprises her - well, if Jennifer is being sincere or not. And Emma's not trying to read her mind!

Jennifer Stavros has posed:
Defensively, she retorts, "Well, we're all checking in. It's not like we want to go back. We're just doing a little crime solving as a side-hustle, Ms. Frost. Not breaking the law. Besides, Melissa and Doms are watching out for me."

Emma Frost has posed:
Emma Frost would shake her head, "I never said that I cared about you breaking hte law. Or that I have any concerns on that. You're good enough at staying beneath the radar, Jennifer. I don't care about that whatsoever."

Jennifer Stavros has posed:
A puzzled crease mars Jennifer's perfect eyebrows at Emmas's last words. "So why are you talking about an exit strategy? Because of Wade?"

Emma Frost has posed:
Emma Frost would sigh, "Of course dear. Mister Wilson's sidetrips tend to end with very large body counts. If you're going to be in associationw tih someone that has as.. Many adversaries and as much as a reputation he has, then it behooves you to have a way out, I presume."

Jennifer Stavros has posed:
Body count throws Jennifer and her bland shield of certainty slips for a moment. Her eyes widen at the words body count.

"I, uh, I mean, so far nobody has been hurt. That's kind of the point. None of us want to go down for something stupid or even smart." She pauses, "I'll be lucky and get out if he messes up, Ms. Frost." Jennifer reverts to a younger self, "Promise."

Emma Frost has posed:
Emma Frost would shake her head, "That's the thing, Jennifer. Wade is not known for being any of those things. Nor having any particular sense of restraint or patience. He's extremely skilled but has a horrid reputation as a mercenary for the fact that he has neither of those. So I'm making sure that you won't be caught up when the catastrophe happens."

She looks over at Jennifer and deadpans, "Pinkie then?"

Jennifer Stavros has posed:
Laughing under her breath, Jenn hooks a pinkie finger and holds it out to Emma, happy to be in her good graces. "Yeah, promise."

Emma Frost has posed:
Emma Frost would let out a sigh and go to extend her hand back to 'meet' it. "I'm glad that you're back, Jennifer. Things have hardly been as entertaining since you left here."

Jennifer Stavros has posed:
Grinning, Jennifer gives their linked pinkies a little shake, "Hey, I do my best to keep things interesting!"
