Cast of Characters: Sara Pezzini, Sybil Tan

Sara Pezzini has posed:
Filing reports with all the right people put Sara at the Triskelion on Taco Tuesday... her favorite time to drop by the food court. It wasn't just tacos of course, it was a day of Mexican cuisine for all to enjoy, so she had selected two tacos and an enchilada before heading to a table. As usual, the place was pretty full, but she got lucky to grab a table just as two Agents were leaving.

Sybil Tan has posed:
Food sounded good right about now. Sybil put down the sonic screwdriver she was tightening a few of the panels of her armor with and stood fully up, stretching after bending over the workbench for the last hour doing repairs. Heading out of her lab, she headed over to the food court. "I'm pretty sure today is Mexican food, if I have lost a day again." she thought to herself as she stepped into the elevator and headed down to the first floor. A few minutes later she made her way into the food court and sniffed the air. "Yep, Mexican it is."

Grabbing a tray, she collected two tacos and a burrito, then looked for a place to sit. Spotting an open seat, she made her way through the crowd, reaching the table and asking Sara "Mind if I join you?"

Sara Pezzini has posed:
As Sybil approached, Sara was already offering her a smile of greeting and a nod to follow, so when asked if it was okay to sit down she said, "Of course. I don't think there's any sort of ceremony around here. Sit where you can, I just tend to try and stay on the edges of the room due to..."

She didn't get to complete the sentence before they both heard some Junior Agent suck in a sharp breath and squeak out an unintelligible comment toward Sara. The other agent with him pushed him a long with an apologetic expression.

"That... it happens a lot," she finishes with a chuckle and shrug.

Sybil Tan has posed:
Sybil chuckles and sits. "It must get a little old after a while, I imagine. But I guess they don't get to see an Avenger eating lunch here too often. Well, except Barton. He practically lives in here for mealtimes."

She opens a couple packets of hot sauce and anoints her tacos with them. "I mean, I have to admit that SHIELD did at least get us some good cooks for the place. Given the choice between this and another frozen dinner, it's easy to choose." She takes a bite of the taco, then nods, "Just the right amount."

"Say, have you kept up on those kids we helped rescue? I only get the 'official report ' version, which basically says 'the affected subjects recovered from their comas', but how are they actually doing after the whole situation?"

Sara Pezzini has posed:
A little extra sour cream goes over one taco, the other gets lavished with hot sauce, and the enchiladas are left just as they are. Sara gets it all ready, while waiting for the rookie agent to get far enough away she feels safe talking again.

"They're all doing pretty good," she replies, taking a sip of her coffee. "Mandated therapy for all of them, the best doctors in the state to take care of them, but they have a lot of guilt and regret to deal with. I think in the long run they'll recover, and have decided to make their own computer game instead of table top games apparently."

Sybil Tan has posed:
Nodding, Sybil takes another bite of her taco. "Well, that's good to hear at least. I pretty much figured they'd need some time with a professional after getting caught up in that sort of thing. Hell, sometimes our agents even need it, and they've all been trained and prepared, at least as much as they can be. Some things you just can't really anticipate in this job."

She takes another bite of taco, then continues, "I'd say the both of us fit that description, you with the ancient magical being around your wrist, and me getting lost among dimensions for a number of years. There is some weird shit out there, let me tell you."

Sara Pezzini has posed:
A bite of the spiced taco is taken and enjoyed, before Sara sits back in her chair a little. She'd read up on what SHIELD permitted her security level to know about Kestrel, to get a feel for what Sybil could do. The rest would have to be learned through direct interaction over time.

She didn't get much time to consider that information at this moment however as Witchblade was having a small melt down over how Sybil referred to him. "For my sanity I have to correct you," she began, rubbing at her temples a little. "Witchblade is beyond ancient, and an entity of god-like power based in the magic of the Old Gods. That said," she snorts now. "He's an ancient magical being, whether he likes it or not."

Sybil Tan has posed:
"Must be fun having him in your head all the time. At least my armor doesn't complain, unless you count damage reporting during combat. But then, mine also doesn't protect me from danger I don't even know is there yet."

She'd read up on the info SHIELD had on Sara after working with her, just to fill in the gaps on things she hadn't seen yet. The woman and her associated being/mystical entity/etc had a pretty impressive dossier.

She took another bite of her taco and her phone beeped. pulling it out to check the message, she sighs. "It never fails, try to take ten minutes to eat and something goes wrong." She finishes the first taco, wraps the second in a couple napkins and takes it with her as she stands. "Nice seeing you Sara, I'm sure we'll cross paths again."

Sara Pezzini has posed:
"I'll invite you to my place for Tiramisu, Sybil," Sara offered as the woman stood and prepared to leave. "My aunt makes the best Tiramisu in New York, so make sure to leave room for calories and carbs, it's worth it."

Offering a way, she adds at the end, "Good seeing you again, take care of yourself out there." Then settles into finish her lunch.
