Synopsis:	Billy meets Yaretzi where eagles... take a break!

Yaretzi Acama has posed:
Yaretzi was across town, having taken the bus to a library that had a book she wanted and that wasn't available at the local one. Of course, traffic was terrible (ain't it always, in the Big Apple?), but she got to the library and got her book and was going to take the bus home... when she saw a mugging in progress. She transformed into Golden Eagle and interceded. With the mugging stopped, and the would-be muggers left for the authorities, she's decide that she might as well fly back to her home burrough instead of bothering with the bus, this time -- and she's decided, being as this is going to save her a ton of time, to take a 'scenic route' home. So, being as she's always wanted to visit the Statue of Liberty anyway, she's flown out to the famous landmark instead of directly towards Spanish Harlem.

Billy Batson has posed:
Shazam has just finished a patrol. As a reward he gets a short break for coffee and he usually takes it at the Statue of Liberty, or Philly for a cheese steak and egg creme. On the Statue he monitors the Bay, wonders how absent friends are and thanks the gods for his current friends and new friend. Zeus says, <<No problem but it wouldn't kill you to learn the Orphic Hymns. Not all 42. Just the morning thanks. that'd be nice.>> Solomon tsks, <<Give You Know Who a try.>> Shazam sips his coffee. He'll get Steve to write out a couple hymns out.

Then he sees the flying woman. At first he thought it was Sunny or Mary. He smiles and waves. She's cute. Don't let her be a villain. Hercules says, <<You can hit women you know? they get the first shot. You can also duck the first shot.>>

Yaretzi Acama has posed:
Golden Eagle has definitely also spotted Shazam flying over. Her first reaction is eyes-wide smiling... is she fan-girling? It only lasts a moment before the woman visibly gets her expression under control and comes to a hovering stop over the statue's head, hands on her hips. Okay, yeah, she's trying to 'look cool' in front of one of the well-known and famous superheroes. "Hi there, Shazam!", she calls out, lifting one hand in greeting... then she frowns a moment and glances around, clearly not seeing him as a threat -- or trusting him to not be so. "There isn't trouble around here, or something...?", she asks, as if his presence made her think there might be something going on that drew him here.

Billy Batson has posed:
Shazam moves over as if to invite the woman to sit down. "Uhm no, coffee break before going to do civilian stuff. I'm sorry, I don't know your name. Nice to meet you. You know someone figured out there are so many superheroes in New York now, if we all take about an hour a week for patrols we can cover everything? Please join me. Sorry I don't have coffee for you."

Yaretzi Acama has posed:
"It's okay, I usually don't drink coffee, anyway", replies the flying woman, as she sets down atop the statue looking for all the world that she hadn't planned to do -that-. She seems to take a moment to actualize for herself that she's actually standing atop the Statue of Libery, chatting with Shazam. The smile on her face is quite 'beaming', as she first looks down at the statue, the up at the hero and says, "I'm Golden Eagle, by the way."

Billy Batson has posed:
Shazam gets up and offers a handshake."My pleasure. Well you got my name right. The whole list is Champion of Mankind, Defender of Magic and... oh, World's Mightiest Mortal. But that was before the Kryptonians showed up... and some other people. Just don't call me Flash. I get that a lot. It's Shazam." He gives a small quick flinch like he was expecting an attack then relaxes and smiles again." Also the head of the new Council of Wizards but he doesn't like to brag.

Yaretzi Acama has posed:
Golden Eagle's body language is screaming 'FANGIRL!' as she takes and shakes the offered hand, still beaming that smile. "Oh, I know who you are! You're famous!", she says. "Maybe not as famous as some of the others, you're still famous!", she adds, then finally releases the hand she's still shaking, her cheeks darkening a bit as she realizes she was gushing a bit. "Uhm... sorry about that", she says. "... kinda new to all this, and meeting heroes I kinda idolized growing up -- it's a big deal for me", she adds.

Billy Batson has posed:
Idolized? Him? A big deal?

That's a downright gorgeous female saying that. She probably didn't hear about that Benjamin Franklin Bridge fiasco.

"Wow, I do not usually get this reaction, especially from people in our line of work. Thank you so much. You look like you got it together with the flying. What's you power set if I may ask?"

Yaretzi Acama has posed:
"Uhm... kinda like yours, actually, as far as I know. Strong, bulletproof, fast, flying, really good eyes, that kinda thing", Golden Eagle replies. "I really don't do much else beyond those things, I guess...", she adds, after a moment's though, during which she made a pouty little expression on her face, hands on her hips.

Billy Batson has posed:
Shazam asks, "Did I say something wrong? I mean it's a great all around power set. And kudos on the flying. Did it take you ,long to learn it... I mean... you probably saw my YouTube videos trying to fly. I'm kinda the worst of my sibs. They were flying from the start. The lightning is really my thing. I practice it a lot. Comes in handy. You have telescopic vision? I'm jellie."

Yaretzi Acama has posed:
"I kinda knew how to use my powers as soon as I got them...", Golden Eagle replies. "You don't have, like, super-vision or anything? Really? I thought you did!", she asks. "Besides the strength, flying, lightning, and bulletproof stuff... what else *can* you do?", she asks, her tone a bit excited -- she's learning new stuff about a hero. Why wouldn't she be excited about it?

Billy Batson has posed:
Shazam admits, "I'm still learning, believe it or not. I can summon storms and rain. I can sense magic. I have wisdom as a power... meaning I can speak any language on Earth I come across for starters. That is the power my sibs say hasn't kicked in yet. Just because I ask Thunderbolt what to do a lot. I mean she is my big sister. All right older sister. I transform magically in a bolt of lightning after I say a magic word. And that wisdom tells me for example I can let you know that."

Yaretzi Acama has posed:
Golden Eagle... giggles. "You just told me that! You shouldn't have!", she says. "... I kinda transform the same sorta way, though -- so now we're even on the 'info we shouldn't tell anyone' thing", she adds. "I... don't have voices in my head telling me what to do, though. Sounds like that'd be kinda wierd, really."

Billy Batson has posed:
Shazam rubs the back of his neck, "I feel I can trust you... this is a much better way to get acquainted than having a misunderstanding and a fight. I get a sense before I reveal stuff to people and anyway, I transformed accidentally a few times and people knowing this saved my life. Wait you transform magically?"

"Get out! You're telling me that to make me feel better about outing myself!"

Yaretzi Acama has posed:
Shazam's reaction elicits laughter from Golden Eagle, but she nods. "Yeah, I guess I do. Don't know if it's magic, but, hey... I'm suddenly *poof*", she says, gesturing vaguely at herself. "So, I guess it's as close to magic as it's gonna get, right?", she concludes.

Billy Batson has posed:
Shazam peers at Golden Eagle for a moment and says, "Probably magic. No very likely." He abruptly stops staring and looks her in her eyes again."You should show me after I prove you could trust me. Then I'd know for certain. I mean our magic might be related. You could be like a distant cousin..." <<Stop talking!>> is chorused.

Yaretzi Acama has posed:
Golden Eagle pouts. "I... I can't show anyone what I really look like. I hafta keep that secret!", she says, floating up off the statue. "I... I should go", she says, suddenly darting away through the air -- in the general direction of Harlem.

Shazam waves bye. <<Asshole!>> Achilles says. <<Seriously, you were more forward than me! And that is saying something!>> Zeus mutters.
