Lorna Dane has posed:
"Uuuuugh. I am not enjoying this Raven..." Lorna says as she has another bought of sickness from the royal bathroom. She has her hair crimped back and is wiping at her mouth with a towel that quickly gets tossed towards a hamper. Not wanting any of the help to actually have to do her laundry as she still feels iffy about that level of poshness. "I'll burn that later." Lorna tells no one as she takes a deep breath and pulls the thick terrycloth robe over her shoulders in a motion of the self to fight from dropping it to the floor and allowing her skin to cool off in the breeze. Not with company over.

"I -" Lorna pauses as she fights to change the subject but desides to hold her tongue, taking a moment to lean against the doorframe and frowns as she feels that mental fog she was warned about. "I feel slow. Mom brain I think."

Raven Darkholme has posed:
Having taken a special trip to China to obtain a few of the more traditional herbal remedies for issues from pregnancy, Raven had teleported into the royal palace only a few minutes ago. Most she has seen work effectively for many woman, a couple she knows from her own use, but all are safe for the Queen of Genosha and her unborn. The gift basket also contained some of the things woman crave when pregnant, as well as chocolate... lots of chocolate.

She had gone straight to Lorna's rooms, not because she was invited but due to the fact the staff was fluttering about like panicked mother hens. She now leaned against the frame of the restroom door, not looking into the bathroom, but listening.

"Pregnancy is not something you enjoy," she says simply in a soft tone. "It is something you endure to ensure your legacy... or in my case because the condom broke."

Now that Lorna was no longer worshipping porcelain, Raven stepped into the room to get a wash cloth and wet it in cold water then lays it on the back of Lorna's neck. "You what?" she then questions with a slightly raised brow. "You know me well enough to know that I pick up on things, and clearly there is something more than mom brain here."

Lorna Dane has posed:
Lorna seethes softly as she reaches a hand back to hold her hair up away from her neck, the cold hitting her hard, causing her skin to pimple and pucker quickly but she relaxes quickly after lowering her hand back to her larger than expected belly. Still not terminal yet, but she's noticeably pregnant now. "That feels good." Lorna moans gently as she leans more against the door frame and closes her eyes softly.

"I- I want to know more about that situation the other day. The one in bedlam, blood haven, ... whereever it was. Mutant town. What was happening? What caused that mess to really spill over?" Lorna asks, sounding more and more concerned about it. Like it's been troubling her mind deeply since then.

Raven Darkholme has posed:
Slipping her arm around Lorna's waste, Raven guides the woman over to a chair and helping her to sit down, all the while holding the cool cloth in place. "There is a small device called a person air conditioner," she comments, making sure Lorna is settled before offering a grin. "I strongly suggest one for times like this, does wonders to help keep you cool."

Taking a moment to move a chair over closer, she sits herself down and crosses her legs, right over left as usual. "It is a situation that is out of hand. This vaccine has lead Senator Chism to support bill HR-485, which essentially is a law to force mutants to be cured."

She shifts slightly watching Lorna's face closely, any indication of physical discomfort and the cobalt mutants changes the topic. "What happened in Bushwick was religious nuts believing that their bible is telling them we need to be 'cured' of this disease, and all because they do not believe in evolution." She folds her hands in her lap before continuing.

"Their intent was true, and real, to help in their own way with something that does not require their help," reaching to the basket she brought, she moves it over to Lorna can start looking at all the thing inside while they talk.

Lorna Dane has posed:
Lorna is easily ushered in her current state, and despite her state, she knows what kind of state she's in and that she's being ushered and that there's little she can do about it. "I'm not buying a personal air conditioner. And you're not sending one to me either." Lorna protests as she claims her chair and moans softly as she sits. "Then we shall open our borders further, and given visas willingly and offer scholarships and grants for transports should the teleporters be malfunctioning."

"Those idiots want to fight, we'll fight. And we'll do it our way." Lorna says with a grunt as she lifts her legs up to put her ankles down on an ottoman she could have sworn was there earlier.

Raven Darkholme has posed:
Almost with lightning speed the ottoman is slide right into place as Lorna goes to put her feet down and broad grin spreads across Raven's face. "If I wish to buy Your Majesty a personal cooling device, I will buy Your Majesty a personal cooling device," she retorts, then without even really thinking about it she adjusts herself so she can lightly rub Lorna's ankles.

"There is more to this," she then says while getting some lotion from the basket to smear some on her hands and go back to the rubbing. "Magneto attacked a transport train on the way to Washington DC, it was supposed to have the vaccine on it for study and approval... it was a trap."

Again she was watching Lorna's face. "In the end, to avoid blood shed, your father turned himself over to the strike security team... by that point, I was involved in gathering evidence against the medical group making the vaccine... I begged Jean not to let it happen, but..."

Her yellow eyes shift down to watching her hands massaging Lorna's ankles.

Lorna Dane has posed:
Lorna's face flashes with rage that doesn't quite fade as she hears about 'Magneto'. "..." A brief moment where Lorna opens her mouth to speak but only seethes against her tongue. She closes her mouth again and takes a long obviously upset breath through her nose as she thinks. "Were he smarter, and more forward thinking, he'd have surrendered in the first place. Heaven forbid anyone else have a choice in life except him." Lorna says with a clenched fist lifted to her mouth and pressing the first knuckle of her index finger between her lips.

Raven Darkholme has posed:
Raven slowly looks back up to Lorna as she speaks, fully understanding the state of the woman's mind regarding her father. The man wasn't the best parent, in fact he was nearly as bad about it as she had been with her own children, still...

"He is responsible for the changes that have taken place with the Brotherhood," she says softly. "I know you don't like your father, I understand and accept that... I just wanted you to know."

She moves to the second ankle now, more lotion required. "So tell me about your overly large bump Lorna," she then says, and gives a slight poke to the bump.

Lorna Dane has posed:
"He's responsible for more than that. And I have much more responsibility than just a treehouse of people who feel like their slighted by an entirely different group of people." Lorna says, sighing once again before looking at Raven with those piercing green eyes as she pokes at her larger than expected belly.

Taking a moment to pause, collect her thoughts, Lorna whispers, "I'm sorry, I'm not mad at you." She says, reaching out to take Raven's hand in hers and holding it to her belly. "The doctor today said what we both probably already knew, and what I assumed you expected." She says, letting the tension build before lifting her hand and showing instead of saying. Three fingers up.

Raven Darkholme has posed:
Returning to the foot and ankle massaging because yes, Raven knows how much swollen ankles and feet suck. The lotion smells of lilac and lavender, and perhaps a hint of honey. "I know what Erik has done, and who has suffered for it, and I was part of it," she says plainly. "I know you aren't angry with me, you're angry with him and have every right to be."

Turning her hand over so she can hold Lorna's more easily, she stares at the woman for a moment as if hundreds of small snakes sprang forth into existence from those green eyes. "I... thought..." it's rare to cause Raven to stutter, or for the mutant to be caught off guard... Lorna succeeded.

And then there is excitement, the cobalt mutant actually showing emotion. "Three? That's... amazing, wonderful, a royal... no pun intended... pain your body!" She gives Lorna's hand a squeeze. "I thought twins, or one really large child... three?... wait, are you alright with that information?"

Lorna Dane has posed:
"Am I alright? Nooo. I'm fucking freaking out Raven. I'm terrified, but ... I'm also happy. I'm not broken, my baby- Babies, aren't broken either just, there's a lot of them." She snickers and takes a deep breath rubbing her belly again. "I'm scared, but I guess I'm alright with that information. I have to be. No other way forward but forward." Lorna says, shrugging her shoulders in that robe again and moaning softly from the foot rub. "But yeah, explains the stretch marks." She snorts.

Raven Darkholme has posed:
Feeling better over having gotten excited, Raven oohs and reaches into the basket to pull out a small jar. "This stuff is amazing for stretch marks," she says excitedly. "Just a little bit over your stomach twice a day will help as they grow, and then afterwards it will help remove them entirely."

Clearing her throat a little, she gets her chill back in place before looking back to Lorna's face. "You don't have to be scared," is said softly. "You aren't alone in any of this. Whatever you need, however I can help, from this moment until they are all three in college... I'm here for you."
