Diana Prince has posed:
It is that time of year where wild weather can really leave a negative mark upon a place. Mother nature has a wrath to it that even super heroes can struggle to fight against.

In the aftermath of a very strong storm, Wonder Woman, and Wonder Girl have arrived on a tropical island where they have brought a large selection of palettes of food, clean water, first aid and more. Today, those who lived through the recent disaster are here on-hand, and many of them are quite happy to see the famous faces come to their little home to help them recover.

The invisible jet, currently very visible, sits on a grassy plain near a relief campsite setup by help from around the world. Diana stands just outside of the jet's off-loading ramp, speaking with a handful of relief workers, and local leaders who are here to greet the Amazons.

Aboard the jet, massive plastic-wrapped palettes are waiting to be unloaded, and not too far away lines of people waiting for help are eager for more such supplies to be added to the growing caches coming in from around the world.

The strange part of it all? The day is otherwise glorious in the aftermath of the storms. The sun is shining, the wind is light, and there is a sense of hope that things will recover quickly running throughout those gathered here this afternoon.

"We brought quite a lot in this shipment, but will head back shortly to get the rest." Diana is saying to one of the relief workers who is reviewing the tablet computer of listed supplies to figure out where to have them taken.

Cassie Sandsmark has posed:
In the back of the plane, one of the pallets lifts up off the ground, and then another next to it. The shifting of the cargo reveals Cassie to be the culprit. The weight, for them, isn't terribly much to deal with, but balancing a pair of them, each a couple feet wide and deep, at least puts a little bit of a challenge into it! She's dressed down for the balmly weather of their destination, sandals, short shorts and one of their WW-logo tank tops (always gotta rep the brand!), further tied off above her stomach. Her hair she has up in a high ponytail to keep off her neck in the heat.

"So, where do you want these?"

Naturally, the whole show draws some stares-- for various reasons! The aid worker at the bottom of the ramp looks a bit stunned by the whole thing, before she quickly recovers and gets back to the business at hand. Cassie is given a vague location as an answer, and makes a rather quick flight over to drop them off. It's all a little show-off-y, mmaybe, but it's also waaay faster than using handcarts and forklifts!

A couple trips like these, before she pauses up near the top, searching out Diana. "Phew." The work isn't overly strennuous, but the weather is still hot! "It's wild. This place is like paradise," a word that has some extra meaning for them! "Other than all of this."

Diana Prince has posed:
Diana is in her standard armor attire, though she is wearing a white wrap of a satin fabric around her shoulders, clipped in place over her left shoulder by a little silver and gold adornment. The wrap gives Wonder Woman a bit of a added regal tone to her armored look, which is so iconic for her at this point that the people might actually be somewhat disappointed if she'd shown up in regular civilian attire. Wonder Woman inspires hope, so she's been told.

Cassie's bold off-loading gets a smile from Diana, who's unabashed amusedment at her sister's antics makes those around them a little more at-ease with it.

People in the distance are snapping photos and videos of it too, many of them children who even after such a bad disaster still somehow manage to have their smart phones out and popping off.

"Cassie is one of our more capable Amazonian youth." Diana explains to those she'd been conversing with, and on Cassie's second run, she suddenly finds herself face to face with a group of men all standing there with dolly's and work gloves on, gawking at the young blonde woman showing off her strength, agility, and ability to make their task at this bid of relief look so... easy?

Some of them start to smile, and even laugh though.

Diana shakes hands with some of those she was speaking with, then moves on to the Jet with the 'regular' off-loaders to help show them what to move, and thusly make them not feel totally useless when it comes to aiding the Amazon celebrity guests!

Soon they too are moving large quantities of supplies down off of the Jet and to the appropriate drop locales.

Diana, meanwhile, begins to make her rounds amongst the people in lines. She is quickly swarmed, shaking hands, greeting happy faces, and offering hugs to some of those who are most eager to get a warm embrace from that of Wonder Woman of all people.

It is one of those days, afterall, a kind of day that really gets Diana's spirit up, even in the shadow of such tragedy as a terrible storm.

Cassie Sandsmark has posed:
"You can get all of those," Cassie points out helpfully, to the group that ends up standing about gawking, gesturing at another row of untouched cargo. There's plenty to go around, and she'd hate to make any of them feel useless. Mostly, her own efforts just focus on speeding things up, especially with some of the more difficult packages. The pallets with bottled water are drastically heavier than anything else, so she always grabs those first! "'Sides. After this, we've got more stops to make. So everything else, all the sorting, storage, distribution - well, we're counting on all of you for that."

She helps with a few more rounds of this, and then stands around posing for selfies with the aid workers for a few minutes. And then it's back to check on Diana again!

Of course, she's found being very Diana-like, in full-on Princess of the People mode as she greets the masses. Woe be it for meager Cassie to interrupt! So she waits for the first break in the crowds, caused only by one of the organizers announcing that some new supplies are ready and available, and thus causing a bit of a shuffle as people move hurriedly to make sure they get places in the line. It's a reminder of how desperate the situation is, and how much worse things could be, the teetering edge of civilization.

But, no riots or stampedes with the Wonder Crew here, making sure there's plenty to go around, at least for now. It's only when they have a moment more to themselves, that Cassie grimly observes: "They need way more than we can move on the jet."

Diana Prince has posed:
Selfies are a given in a climate like this, and Diana is prone to taking many, but every single one of them gets a sincerely happy expression upon the Princess' face when she takes it, especially those with the children.

Even with some of the crowd returning to the new lines of supplies being handed out, Diana stands with a small group of teenagers having her sign their soccer balls, apparently they're a local team, as per what some of them have been telling Diana. In-turn the Princess has been laughing while signing the surface of the brightly colored balls, using a black sharpie to jot down her utterly perfect signature, inculded with a little <3 for the dog of her 'i'...

The boys say their goodbyes, as they return to the lines with their families, and Diana looks to Cassie who arrives to say that soft observation. "Yes, they do." Diana says back as her eyes scan over the crowd of people receiving water and more.

"There are large ships inbound. We are mostly here to spread smiles, more than the supplies. The supplies are needed, of course, but what they also need is to know that help is here, and more help is coming soon."

She looks to Cassie again, and reaches her right arm around to place it around the other's shoulders. She offers that one armed embrace as they observe the situation.

"The Jet produces it's own water, as you know, so it will be providing more to the supply tanks which are on their way on trucks. Thus, we will be here a little bit longer, but our last stop should be just after sundown. A good day's work, I would say."

Some of the kids in line are still snapping pictures of the two super heroines, and Diana is waving to them when she sees them doing so.

Cassie Sandsmark has posed:
"Plus, anything's better than nothing. Keep people tided over until the rest comes. And keep them calm..."

OK, so maybe Cassie is a little more wary of the underlying situation, or at the very least, willing to wear her pragmatism on her sleeve. As one of, by whatever definition, 'the youth,' she definitely has inherited not only that whole activist conscience but some of the discontent that underwrites it. All that time doomscrolling on their phones. So she's always keenly aware of how much more there is to do, wondering over how much more they COULD do.

Still, it's a morale mission, as Diana says. And at least in the short term, helping the people here, and seeing some of the happy faces, she can feel alright about it. Another pair of locals taking pictures as they pass, and she leans in closer to Diana so they can get them both in frame, smiling big and making an Amazon salute in front of her.

She did get a brief idea of their schedule earlier, but there are always details to work out on the ground. In this case, it's waiting on those tanks, and the time it will take to fill them, before they can move on. "Well, it looks like we nearly have everything unloaded and they're getting on with the distribution. So now what? We just chilling out until then?"

Diana Prince has posed:
"In short, yes." Diana says, her eyes over on Cassie to answer that last question. "But it should not take long, especially in an environment like this. The Jet will get quite a lot of the humidity quite rapidly." She notes, her eyes going up to the sky where her hair is flown out behind her shoulders by the tropical wind of the local climate.

A pair of aid workers start moving toward the two Amkazon women, and when they arrive one of them informs that they've fully off-loaded the jets and that the water trucks are just down the access road, and should be arriving within the next five to ten minutes.

A big smile is given to the two workers, and Diana drops her arm from around Cassie's shoulder. "Good. I will go check on the water reserves within our plane." She glances to Cassie. "Will you direct the trucks to drive beneath the wings, when they arrive?' She asks of the young blondd in the much more contemporary WW attire.

One of the workers stays with Cassie, while the other separates to walk with Diana back to the jet, all while the lines of hundreds of people continue to flow about the campsite and its various distribution points.

Cassie Sandsmark has posed:
"You got it, boss." The 'boss' part only sounds a teensy bit sarcastic!

But Diana's will be done! Soon enough, the trucks indeed arrive. The drivers, like many of the aid workers at their first glances, may be a little surprised by the appearance of the young woman overseeing things. Is this why Diana always rocks the costume? It does probably make her more official looking!

"Right this way, follow me." Any doubts aside, she and the aid worker who stays back with her quickly explain the plan to the drivers, and then it's Cassie's job to guide them in. It's not a task particularly requiring of superpowers, but she is familiar with the jet's workings, at least. Plus, she occasionally hovers a bit higher so she can keep up at eye level with the drivers up in the cabs of the trucks, or swing around in front of them quickly without any risk of getting run over.

"Yep, little more, little more, just like that... stop!" She does the hand signals and everything.

Once they're in place, she has one last bit of show-off help to give, flying the connector hoses up. The ship, of course, can reconfigure to whatever standard they use. It's an interesting meeting of the high tech world with the... very normal tech world. Once the connection is made and secured, the ship begins releasing the water without further direction.

When it's done, she swings back around, giving the tank a resonating thump on the side with her hand on the way. "Alright, you're all set. Just gotta wait for it to fill. If you need anything, just give a hollar." That said, she heads back on board to check in with Diana.
