Diana Prince has posed:
It is a fine afternoon in Metropolis. A public event is happening at the Hall of Justice that has a large gathering of citizens outside, and inside the hall's interior. It is a public venue on the ground floor level, afterall, and today is a busy day. People are gathering for outdoor music, food and atmosphere of the heart of the Justice League within Metropolis. The JLA base on the Moon may be the more central point for official JLA business, but the Hall of Justice has a great connection directly to the people of the city, and those who visit it to specifically immerse themselves in to super hero culture.

Wonder Woman is in attendance at the Hall today, which has added to some of the public enjoyment of the lovely day. The Themysciran Princess has been mingling with the people for some time now, as she transitions from interior to exterior interactions.

Currently, dressed in her iconic attire of blue, gold and red Amazonian armor, the Princess stands out.. her armored boots carrying her just over six feet in height no-less.

She is taking photos with guests, spending much of her time with the children specifically. She's crouched amidst a group of young ones right now, posing for a picture with a small class of what look to be elementary aged kids. They're all smiles, as the photographers snap off pictures.

In the park area, the live music is performing and there-by helping to add to the atmosphere of the place this afternoon.

Cir-El has posed:
Woof. The big time. The big city. Sure, Cir-El's been doing a little crimefighting in NYC, but it's all been really simple stuff. Super speedy tripping a mugger, hanging a purse snatcher off a lamp post by his collar. But this is Metropolis. The Big... okay, she can't remember what Metropolis's nickname is. Because of her time travel related memory loss. That's definitely why.

But she's been putting this off too long. Too long by half. And so she's slowly, carefully descending from the sky, body silhouetted by the sun, cape rippling in the breeze. She's about a hundred feet up when people notice, and she can hear the excited shouts about birds, planes, so on and so forth.

It's about /ninety/ feet up when suddenly that slow, graceful and heroic descent suddenly becomes a lot less gravity defying. Because she's falling. Actual, really, totally just /falling/.

"OH SHOOT! NUTS! NERTS!! UHHH... LOOK OUT!!" luckily, her voice is easily carried, as people move out of the way, some cowering, most covering their faces anticipating the worst.

But the impact is more of an awkward 'OOF!' and a ground-shaking thud. The pavement takes the impact pretty well, pebbles and dust jolt up around the figure of the Kryptonian, and she looks up, clearly none the worse for wear. "Uhhh... none of you... saw that, right?"

She stands up and huffs, brushing at her chest, trying to make sure there's not a trace of dust on that prominent S across her chest, it's slightly more angular, and on a plain black background instead of Kara's more inspiring and friendly yellow background. "Oh maaaan... I swear, normally I can fly! It's just... things are... oh... jeeeze... uhhh... yes! Hi! Hello! Nice to meet you! Oh!"

The Kryptonian girl is immediately drawn from being mortified at her failed entrance to signing autographs... sure, they probably think she's the /other/ Supergirl, but... she's got to be polite! And... and... if she keeps signing autographs, maybe Wonder Woman won't realize she's here and... oh god, Wonder Woman probably saw her land on her face. This is... maybe this is just a very realistic nightmare!

Diana Prince has posed:
Diana is in the process of rising back to her full height, while still interacting with the children from that class, when the Supergirl arrives in a little less of a super fashion than many might believe is common amongst her people. Yes, Wonder Woman watches as the caped woman falls from the sky, and for a moment she has a worried expression touches the features of her face. But, through the people who move around Cir-El to watch her recover, a bit of laughter and applause eases any concern that Diana may have had as to the state of Cir-El...

None the less, Wonder Woman excuses herself from the photo ops with the students, and begins to make her way through the crowds of people taking photos of Supergirl now...

Thusly, when Cir-El finishes greeting someone, she'll turn to find herself face to face with the tall Amazonian Princess.

Diana has her eyes locked on the others own, and she summons a smile upon her ruby red lips. "Hello." She greets the Kryptonian. Diana had been there on the Moon when Cir-El's pod had arrived, she'd helped oversee the situation afterward as well, but she had not greeted Cir-El, and instead left her to be tended to by her fellow Krypton natives.

Until now, so it seems.

Diana's right hand extends out to Cir-El, her palm wrapped in well oiled leather, with her bare fingers extended out from within. Her forearm encased inher silver and golden Aegis bracer of submission, it glinting in the sunlight, like much of what else Wonder Woman is wearing.

"Welcome to the Hall of Justice." Diana says in her thick Themysciran accented English.

Cir-El has posed:
The dark haired Kryptonian does her best to pretend Wonder Woman is not clearly walking towards her, despite the civilians she's autographing clearly looking in the direction Wonder Woman was just a moment ago, like something astounding is happening. Like Wonder Woman's walking towards them or something.

But nope, this is just... she's just here in the past! Doing selfies on cell phones that don't have volumetric 3D imaging! But really, it's not their fault, they're /so/ many models behind her home time's technology.

But Cir-El's just too dang responsible to actually delude herself. Her last autograph is given and she turns around just a little reluctantly. Okaaaaay, she's gonna wake up... /now/!

Nope, it's still reality. She's still in the past and Wonder Woman's most definitely... taller? Is she taller than she remembers? ...Can she read the facial expression on the teenage girl's face that screams she's trying to figure this out?

"I... uhh... hiiiii... Ms. Wonder Woman." She clears her throat and smiles sheepishly, "Sorry for dropping in. Uhhh... especially like... /literally/. I was just... I've been trying to figure things out and... doing it on my own's been... not working out so hot. So I thought maybe I'd... try and do some good while I keep trying to figure things out and..."

She frowns thoughtfully, almost a pout really. "Well, I didn't think to ask any of my family about like... getting some kind of orientation for this... /now/?" Her eyebrows pop meaningfully. Because she doesn't want to just say she's from the future! Not out in public!

She looks around and mumbles, "It looks... good. I mean, it looks... familiar. Mostly..." She frowns thoughtfully, "I think some of the paths were a little different but... yeah, I..." She heaves out a sigh, "I don't know what I'm doing."

Diana Prince has posed:
In truth, this Diana had no concept of who Cir-El was. The Kryptonians often keep their family members pretty close to the chest, when it comes to details, and Diana rarely gets a chance to pester Kal-El for information these days. Thus, she's getting to know Cir-El in the moment, here and now, with everyone else who is observing the pair meeting for the first time. Needless to say there is a bit of laughter, chuckling, and quiet questioning taking place, along with many pictures and video upon phones happening also.

When Cir-El admits she might be a bit lost, Diana just conveys a warm smile toward the young woman. "Come along, I'll explain." She notes, offering Cir-El the chance to walk along with her. Wonder Woman nods to some of the onlookers, as some spread back out of their way. Soon, Diana is leading Cir-El to a marked off area in front of the Justice League where members of the League only can stroll more easily in and out of the facility today when they need to. Once they have a bit of distance, Diana just looks over to the young woman. "You are welcome here, any time you wish to be here." She states in her kind voice, her own dark hair flowing around her otherwise bare shoulders, save for the leather strap of her harness that holds her lasso hanging at her left hip. "You are a member of Superman's family, thus by extension you are a member of our family too." She adds, with another soft smile. "Admittedly, as well, I am eager to hear a bit about yourself. I have not had a chance to look in to your situation since you arrived... but you seem to be in good spirits, which is comforting to see."

Cir-El has posed:
There's a relieved smile from Cir-El as she sighs out, "Thanks! I mean, it's just... I still don't know why I've got..." She frowns thoughtfully, "It's not really /amnesia/... like, I know you. Y'know, in general. And I have little... flashes of detail sometimes, but they're really vague and..." She heaves out a sigh, "At least I don't have to worry about like... shattering time." She clears her throat, "Or at least that's what Supergirl told me... and she seemed /pretty/ confident."

Cir-El's eyes are sweeping around, and despite saying she recognizes the Hall of Justice, there's definitely a bright, idolizing glint to those baby blues as she takes in all the details. Her lips curve in a wide smile and she nods solemnly. "Oh, it's... I mean, I guess the main problem is the only person who knows the /entire/ truth of my situation is me and..." She taps the side of her head, "This is all scrambled up. I remember da- ...Superman. And you, and... well, okay, usually if I /see/ a superhero I can tell I... remember them. I just can't /remember/ that I remember them..." She huffs out a sigh.

But with a little more privacy her shoulders relax and slump just a little, "I'll give you the quickest rundown I can without... getting into too much detail. I'm... from the future. I think I was in... a blast or... /something/ but whatever happened sent me... back. In time. To now."

Her eyes roll upwards, "And... so I'm just trying to... find a way to fit in, and find out how I got sent back and if I can... get home. I mean... I kinda had a bit of a panic attack at Supergirl about it, because like... if I'm back here and I /change/ stuff, what if I make... /me/ not happen?"

Her eyes are wide and then she draws a slow deep breath and offers a crooked little smile. "But she said that's not how time travel /really/ works so I think... that's probably okay. But uhh... I didn't really think to ask her about... how to get more involved in /helping/, so I've just been... you know, doing what I can to help out when I hear trouble."

Diana Prince has posed:
They walk at a below-casual rate, moving around the north east corner of the park outside of the Hall of Justice, the afternoon sunshine shining down on the two women and the environment all around them. The songs of the music continues to play off in the middle of the park's lawn, with throngs of people milling about on the northwestern half of the park.

Diana listens closely, and when the information is given, she reaches her left hand over to lightly place it atop Cir-El's shoulder closet to her. "I am sorry that you have been pushed from your time, back in to ours." She expresses quietly before her hand falls away again. "I am no expert on the ins and outs of time travel either, but as I understand it... you are likely not so much in your world's past, as you are within a version of the past. The trick to finding your way home may indeed be tricky too, but there are people in our world who might be able to assist with that. Even some who work with us within the League. Zatanna Zatara for instance, could be worth speaking to." She states, offering what aid she can for what plagues the young woman on her left.

"I could offer the lasso too, which has helped some with mental scrambled minds find some help in putting some of their thoughts back in order, but that might be too extreme of an option for you." She notes with a small smirk sent sidelong to the other as they stroll together.

A warm wind falls across them, coming in over the Hall itself which looms bright just to the north of where they are walking at the foot of its entry staircase.

"You have at least found yourself in a place where you have many fellow Kryptonians, such as you say... Kara, who is a bundle of joy and positivity. I highly recommend you stay close to her too, to help ease you in to our point in time." She exhales softly then, before looking back over to Cir-El. "I am sorry that this has happened to you... we have had many similar situations taking place in the past several years. I do not think your presence will cause any harm though, as we are likely progressing toward a future that will already not quite be what you came from."

Cir-El has posed:
Cir-El smiles a truly genuine smile and bobs her head, "Thank you... it's not so bad, really. It's just... confusing. Sometimes /then/ feels like a dream and sometimes /now/ feels like a dream and... it's just taking some getting used to. But I figure if I stop sitting around dwelling on it I'll probably adjust better."

She tilts her head thoughtfully and hums, "Oh! I hadn't thought of magic! I visited the Avengers because... well, I remembered Doctor Banner was a scientist used to... unique situations."

She sighs and shrugs lightly, "I'm afraid the attempt to discover more information did not tell me anything than that my powers have returned enough that needles cannot pierce my skin." She glances skyward and grins impishly, "And I can /almost/ fly again... landing is... tricky though."

She finds her glance dropping down to that lasso, iconic symbol of Wonder Woman that it is, tongue tracing her lips nervously for a moment, "That may be something to try... in time..." She grins crookedly and hums out, "After all! For all I know I do not remember that I know secret knowledge from the future. What if, in our attempt to recover my memories, we find out when your friends plan to throw you a surprise party?!"

She nods solemnly and keeps pace with the Amazon as she stretches her arms above her head, fingers lacing together, body arching as she just glories in the... comfort of having a conversation. Perhaps not a /normal/ conversation entirely, but normal enough. "Yes, I think my best course of action is simply to not worry. I will not /try/ to change the future, but I also won't let the possibility it might change paralyze me." She glances sidelong at Diana and murmurs dryly, "Has anyone ever told you you're a source of great wisdom?" Those bright blue eyes narrow eeeeeever so slightly in playfulness.

Diana Prince has posed:
The pair of women walk together in a calmer side of the park in front of the Hall of Justice, but even still a number of cameras are still aimed toward them from people who are strolling on the other side of the barriers, but they still have more privacy on this side by far. The compliment there at the tail end of what Cir-El responds with has Diana lightly laughing. "I believe I have heard that before. I only wish Cassie were here to hear it." She responds, a small grin of her own showing to the S-wearing woman beside her.

"Magic is a reasonable lead to follow, when you are ready. But it does sound as though you are settling in quite well, all things considered. I am not sure how I would feel, were I transported to another time and place... But, should you ever feel negatively about your situation, you need but reach out. I will happily help you." She offers, showing another sincerely bright smile over to Cir.

As they near the steps, Diana slows down then, and places one booted foot on to the first white marbel stair. "You are invited to Themyscira, as well. Though since you are from a future plain, perhaps you have already been there?" She questions, lofting one of her delicately arching eyebrows. "We have been pushing toward making the island a more open place, is why I mention that, but yes... if your memory is suffering from the effects of the time jump, then perhaps you are not even sure if you have been there or not." She smirks lightly then, before she motions toward the park and the little festival taking place here this afternoon. "You are most welcome to stay and mingle with the masses too, should you desire. I am sure they would love to get to know the newest member of Superman's family."

Cir-El has posed:
Cir-El flashes a broader grin, "Well, if we happen to show up to the same outlandish and dramatic situation, I will be sure to mention to her that you are very wise and regal and so forth. It's the least I can do. ...Do you want me to tell her something about the future that I make up on the spot? I mean, if I'm not going to /worry/ about it I might as well use my being from the future for /pranks/..."

The dark haired young woman nods and hums out, "Well, perhaps you would get lucky and be sent back thousands of years to the time of myth and heroes. Or forward into the future? That seems like the less stressful time travel, after all you can't mess up the /past/ from the future."

And as she sways along beside Diana she smiles all the brighter as they reach the stairs. "I have... vague memories. I know it, but..." She flashes a little grin, "For all I know, the beaches I'm picturing were just beaches on some sort of travel commercial. I'd be happy to visit the island. It might be a place to... try that magic. Not worrying about the city, or... hearing all the troubles of the world." She clicks her tongue thoughtfully and murmurs dryly, "I may need to borrow the use of a teleporter to reach the island though... I've been able to fly a /bit/, but... definitely not 'Across the ocean' levels... I mean, I barely flew across a quarter of the city today and..."

She huffs, her cheeks flushed, "I mean, I /know/ you saw how that landing went." And then she's glancing over to the small festival going on and smiles with the sort of winning, bright and genuine smile that just /screams/ being part of Superman's family. "Now /that/ looks like the kind of party that could use a Supergirl. And I'm pretty sure I can see a funnel cake cart." She begins to walk towards the festival with a look over her shoulder, "Thank you /so/ much! I look forward to getting to know you better and visiting the island."

Diana Prince has posed:
The positive demeanor of the young woman has a clear effect on Diana's own mood. She seems to brighten up at it, and it seems to help her feel equally bubbly, or at least close! "Well, several in your family are familiar with the path to and from, but if nothing else, I will see to it personally that you find your way there aboard my jet." She speaks of the island, and Cir-El's need for help to get there.

As the Kryptonian moves to join the festivities, Diana remains where she is with one foot up on the step. "I will be right back outside in just a few moments, and if you are still here, I would be happy to show you around the Hall of Justice too." Wonder Woman offers, moments before a pair of HoJ assistants come down the steps to meet with Diana. "Enjoy the funnel cakes." She adds with a playful expression upon her features.

The Princess soon turns to face the assistants coming to speak with her, and the tall Amazon starts up the stairs, listening and responding to what they have to say, her long dark hair flowing out behind her toward her right shoulder.

It is ever the next thing that needs tending to around here for Wonder Woman!
