After the speech.

Location:	Empire State University
Synopsis:	Bruce made a presentation at ESU and encountered Bart. He was impressed with the questions asked and the pair decided to catch a meal and talk about science things for a while.

Bruce Banner has posed:
It is at once an honor and a nuisance when he is invited to speak. Not that he minds the attention and the people actually listening to what he says, but there are just too many of the other people.

As he finishes the speech he asks,"Any questions?" Hands shoot up everywhere and he smiles for a second, then the smile fades a little,"Any questions not about the Hulk?" The vast majority of hands go down again,"Right." he mutters.

Bart Allen has posed:
Bart Allen looks over and will raise his hand, with a jerking motion. Bart has been sitting still, at least mostly during the speech and that takes a bit for him. He will hold his elbow with the other arm till he is called upon, and then once he is called on he will stand. "Um yes, I was wondering, has you heard of any new studies on Animals and the effects different types of radiation have on them?"

Bruce Banner has posed:
Looking around the room he starts to decide who to select. Bart is so intense he nods that direction. Listening to the question he nods and replies,"I have heard a few people are testing that way yes. There have been some successes in regards to repair certain sickness. Of course, it tends to come with its own sickness sadly."

He glances at the sheet in front of him,"Mr. Allen? I was surprised to see your major. I don't see that a lot. I have heard more clynical trials looking to alter things on a genetic level, but that can be more hazardous than people understand."

Bart Allen has posed:
Bart Allen nods, and says "Yes, I am hoping to be able to find some ways to help with damaged animals. I volunteer with a animal rehab preserve that works with animals that most people don't want to deal with. One of the more unique things we are doing is trying to take in and help animals that have been used for nefarious means by villains and other types who try to use them, often doing experiments or such on them.

Bruce Banner has posed:
"It sounds like you are on a good path." he replies,"Animals are abused too much, even when it is for good intentions." Shaking his head,"I know they are animals, but that doesn't mean they aren't useless and unliving. I have used animals for experiments in the past, but treatment is the difference."

Bart Allen has posed:
Bart Allen nods his head a bit to this and says "I understand that animals will be used for experiments, but if they are they should be treated humanly and if possibly once the tested is over have a good life. " He will look around and realize he has been talking a bit and lets someone else ask a question.

Bruce Banner has posed:
A nod and Bruce moves on to a few other questions. There are a few not so bright ones that ask about the Hulk and get ignored for their trouble. After a while, Bruce finally closes up shop and thanks everyone for their attendance. He suggests questions about the Hulk he taken up with SHIELD and that tends to settle people down.

Bart Allen has posed:
Bart Allen will want to zoom on out of the room, but he makes himself wait to leave, so he can seem a bit more normal. He has pulled his phone out and is typing an order in to the student union, so it will have some food ready for him when he makes it over there.

Bruce Banner has posed:
While most of the people leaving don't really keep his attention, Bruce is interested in the aspiring vet. He takes his things and steps out into the hall. If he catches the young man, if not he will have to see him some other time.

Bart Allen has posed:
Bart Allen with waiting, he is pretty easy to catch. Bart could be across the campus in less time than most would blink, but Bart is trying to keep the whole Impulse a secret. So, once he sees Bruce near him, he will offer a nod and greeting "Dr. Banner."

Bruce Banner has posed:
"Mr. Allen. I wanted to tell you that your questions were on point. Moreso than the physicists and chemists that had their mind where it doesn't need to be." he explains,"I appreciate you coming today and actually being attentive to the subject."

Bart Allen has posed:
Bart Allen nods his head a bit to this and says "Well, I am sure there are a ton of questions I could ask about the Hulk, but this is not the place, maybe at some Q&A with the Avengers or something perhaps, but you as most heroes are more than your alter identity, and should have a life outside it if possible. And you yourself did have fame in the scientific circles before the change."

Bruce Banner has posed:
"Don't experiment on yourself for any reason." he tells the younger man,"It can be disasterous. If you get to that point, the experiment isn't worth it." Unsolicited advice, but advice none the less.

"I wish I still had a private identity, but that ship has sailed and it was bound to happen sooner or later. Always keep your emotions in check as well."

Bart Allen has posed:
Bart Allen nods his head a bit to this and seems like maybe he understands more than some. "Well, if I was to be experimenting on myself, it would be a bit odd." He smiles a bit and says "At least with the Hulk being somewhat different looking, I would assume if your not announced as being somewhere you might be able to get some time with folks not knowing who you are."

Bruce Banner has posed:
A soft laugh and his head hangs a little,"There is that too yes." he agrees,"As for where I go and what happens, I am recognized way more than you think and usually because of the other guy. I have recently been asked for an autograph multiple times."

Bart Allen has posed:
Bart Allen nods a bit to this and says "Well, how would you like to join me for lunch, I am heading over to the cafe to grab some food, and if you would like to talk we can. I might not be the best conversationalist, but I will try to avoid any stuff about green people. Even though I did once met Beast Boy."

Bruce Banner has posed:
"I am not much of a conversationalist either, so it should be a fairly quiet meal." he replies and starts to walk with Bart,"If you want to meet a Hulk, meet my cousin Jennifer. She is prettier, nicer, and much more verbal."

"I have never met Beast Boy that I remember, but I forget a lot of things that aren't focused on my fields of study."
