Synopsis: Clint arrives home from SHIELD HQ to find his girlfriend in trouble...trying to build furniture.
Cast of Characters: Clea, Clint Barton

Clea has posed:
Clea had been trying to do things without magic. It didn't always go well. When you yourself were made of magic it was just natural to go to that. The white haired woman had talked to a few people about house furnishings and they'd talked about IKEA. Like it was some big new fangled magical place.

To some it was.

But to Clea it was a vexing mess that had left her with a pile of wood and little bags of screws all over the living room floor. She's currently looking at the directions like it's a complicated ritual. Maybe someone will save her!

Clint Barton has posed:
Clint was just getting back from some work at SHIELD-HQ. He opened the door, let himself in, and quickly discovered Clea on the floor with her mess of wood, nuts, and bolts. "Oh no... you tried to follow the instructions didn't you?"

Everyone on earth knew you never followed the instructions... just put things where they 'looked' like they should go. "Would you like some help?" He asks the white haired witch, moving over to kneel down beside her.

Clea has posed:
Clea looks up when Clint comes through the door and there is a brilliant smile given to the man, "Well...it said to follow the directions." she points out. "Is that not how we do things?" she muses to that as she settled the directions down in front of her.

She leans over to plant a kiss on his cheek when he kneels down beside her, "I would love some help." she tells him. "Figured I can't magic everything into existence. Things will get mad at me." she states to that. "How was your day?" she asks him after that.

Clint Barton has posed:
Clint smiles a bit as she kisses his cheek, moving to wrap his arms around her and giver her a squeeze, embracing her from behind. He plants his nose in her hair and smiles. "Better now that I'm home with you. It was busy."

He places his chin on her shoulder and overlooks the set of parts and instructions again. "It's tricky. You have to follow it but sometimes things are... interchangable..." He keeps his arms wrapped around her waist, instructing her from his head's perch on her shoulder. "Take that one, and that one. Put the holes together as a T-section, then screw the bolt in with the washer on top. Then the locking nut on the other side." Because it was totally that easy.

Clea has posed:
Clea gives a bit of a grin, "You know you don't have to butter me up all the time." she points out to him as she leans a bit against him. "Or I think butter up is the phrase I'm looking for." she ponders that for a moment. "Nothing that gave you too much trouble?" she asks him.

She then reaches for the components that he pointed out to her and set to trying to match things up. She'd at least bought a drill to do this with.

"Do you have a favorite vacation spot?" she asks him randomly.

Clint Barton has posed:
Clint raises a brow, "Butter you up? I didn't realize you could be buttered." He kisses her cheek then lets her go, moving around to help her start to put the piece of furnature together.

"No, nothing too troubling. I got to meet up with Kate the other day. I think she's too busy for her own good but she's seems to be doing okay." Anther piece fits together with yet another, Clint uses the provided Allen wrench to secure them together. "Vacation spot? I honestly don't think I've ever really been on a Vacation. So I couldn't tell you. A good lake I can fish on in the middle of nowhere maybe?"

Clea has posed:
Clea laughs, "It came up in conversation with an older woman when I was at the store. She said her husband always tried to butter her up when they were younger. I just thought it was an odd phrase, but know that it is meant to be endearing." she admits. "That's good that she's doing okay. I'm still needing to meet others outside of the Avengers." she muses to that.

She helps with the putting together of things as they talk, "A lake to fish at in the middle of nowhere. Got it." she grins to him as she gets more of the pieces assembled with him. Apparently two sets of hands make light work.
