Miles Morales has posed:
"I love this city!"

The voice comes from a Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man. Of course...that means that there's now TWO Spider-Men! What on earth is JJJ going to do when he gets his hands on this piece of information? He's going to say that Spider-Man has invented a cult of individuals who have his exact same abilities and demeanor. It's Spider-Geddon!

Not really. Miles likes to stay in Gotham City but occasionally his studies require him to be in NYC. No reason why he can't do his /actual job/ in the meantime, right?

Right.

Totally.

a THWIP and a holler allows Miles to swing between the tall skyscrapers of the city, the figure dressed in shades of black and red that's distinctly contradictory to Spider-Man prime's blue and red. Even the overall design is different! For example, the spider-emblem looks spray-painted rather than the finely-designed piece of engineering- you get the gist.

Except there's a moment where he's not particularly paying too much attention and his web-line actually slips out of his hand! He flies almost completely horizontal through the air with a 'AAAAHHH!'.

A catch would be great!

Diana Prince has posed:
Diana had moved to the United States in the 1980s where she'd worked out of Washington DC up in to the 2ks where she then moved to Metropolis. It was there that she continued to work in various museums, before joining up with Superman in private to help form the Justice League in 2012. She wasn't a public figure until 2017 though, when she finally decided to come out in to the public eye. Since then, she's become Wonder Woman, and the Ambassador to her people of the mythical island of Themyscira...

Now, a staple in Manhattan, Diana lives near the Avengers mansion in the Themysciran Embassy, and though she is a globe-trotting super hero today, she still makes the regular appearance across the New York City skyline to help keep the city of millions safer...

Case in point..

MIles' right hand is suddenly grasped by Diana's left. As he had been flailing out of control, her hand came out of seemingly nowhere to grasp hold of him. Clutching his hand, she spins herself around, causing the both of them to twirl in mid-air before she pulls him around and catches him, her hands beneath his armpits now. They are face to face, and Diana's eyebrows are raised up in mild surprise.

"I have you." She says in her naturally husky voice, laced with a foreign accent. "Do not fret." She states, showing him a slight smile now.

"You seemed to need a bit of help." She tells him as she lowers them both down to the ground far below, until finally her wedge-heeled armored boots touch down atop the roof of one of the buildings that was only a handful of stories tall. She releases the Spider then and takes a step back from him, standing before him at just over six feet in height, clad in her regal looking gladiatorial combat armor of reds, blues, and gold, her hair a dark hue flowing over her otherwise bare shoulders.

"Sometimes even we need to be helped, after all." She says in that smoky voice, smiling more openly toward him.

Miles Morales has posed:
"AAAHHHH!" Miles is flailing. Would Spider-Man survive the fall? Or would his nonexistent spider-carapace fail him in classic spider-fashion?

He's survived greater falls, but that doesn't mean he's not surprised that someone caught /him/ for once! He twirls around Diana with her centrifugal force, thinking he must've wrapped himself around a pole or a street lamp, the white film angled over his eyes widen in shock - no small amount of awe - to arguably the most famous heroine to walk the earth. Even if she's carrying him straight up Rafiki-style and he's a much cooler-looking Simba.

"...is this how I become Red Panther?" Wakanda Forever! Honestly Miles had no idea what to do in this moment. The ground is swiftly approached and he's set back on the soles of his feet. "Whoaaaaa."

A brief moment exists where nothing is said. Diana might even feel awkward as he stares at her while getup. Did her accent break his brain? Or the armor?

"WONDER WOMAN!" Nope, he's a nerd. "I'm a huge fan! Wait, wait, wait, I just got caught by WONDER WOMAN!" He's fanboying, his hands on top of his mask, one stacked over the other. "I'm dead right? Totally dead."

Diana Prince has posed:
Diana has had a limited amount of experience with the 'other' Spider-man in her time in New York. She's worked with him in the past. Thus with the voice of this one speaking out, she is quick to note that he is a different person under that mask. As he seems to enjoy this moment of being caught by her, she just levels her chin a little, and quietly allows it. She does eventually show him another soft smile as she stands there with her hands casually at her sides now, her lasso hanging from her right hip in a coiled array of golden twine.

"You seem to be okay, at the very least." She says in that accented voice before she nods once toward him. "You are a different Spider, from the one that I know." She then adds with a glance back toward the area he was swinging through, her neck craning just a little as she looked up to her right, her dark hair flowing in the warm Autumn wind.

"Out practicing your swinging?" She asks then, her eyes returning down to his own covered by those white lenses.

She extends her right hand, her palm wrapped in a supple dark leather, but her fingers left bare. "It is a pleasure to meet you."

Miles Morales has posed:
Is he lucky? ZOMG DEFINITELY. Spider-Man was in front of the REAL deal! "Oh yeah, I'm completely fine. Sometimes when I'm swinging it feels like I have a hard time paying attention, then I slip, and sometimes I fall. It's one of those things where instead of hitting a trash can or landing in a car, I get caught by you!" Spidey extends both of his arms in gesture to her.

Different Spidey? OH! "Yes, yeah, but you know, still a big fan. I try not to come up to NYC too much to let him do his thing here. I'm normally down in Gotham." He explains with what is surely a smile behind that mask.

She's asking for a handshake? Miles eagerly takes it, giving it a strong shake that Diana can probably barely even feel, but he was stronger than he looked! Is he shaking her hand for too long? Absolutely.

"Pleasure's all kind, really! I would've thought you'd be in Metropolis or out with the Justice League fighting the big stuff, what's got you in New York?"

Diana Prince has posed:
Throughout what he says, a number of little things cause Diana to smile again. But what he says of Gotham has her ever-so-slightly tilt her head. "Gotham City is a challenging place to perform heroics within." She states to him. "I hope that the various members of the Bat family are helpful in assisting you with that too." She states softly.

When he questions her as to why she's here, she glances back toward the city that surrounds them, the ambient sounds of vehicles down on the streets a few stories below adding to the backdrop, let alone the rest of the world around them.

She looks back to him then. "I live here." She states simply enough. "On the Upper East Side, at the Themysciran Embassy. My people decided to base ourselves here several years ago." She lets a sly grin show for him again then. "I am between 'Big Stuff', you might say."

Her eyes glance down at his hand still holding hers, and then she looks back up to him to smirk again. "New York has a lot of issues that I am sure it needs another Spider-man's aid with. There is never enough help. So certainly do not hesitate to offer."

Miles Morales has posed:
Miles got her to smile? HOLY CRAP Miles got Wonder Woman to be entertained! Fluke? Absolutely. Longevity-wise, can he keep it up? No way. But at least he notices he's shaking her hand too long and he lets it go. "Sorry. Was shaking your hand too long. I'd ask for your autograph but I left my autograph book in my other pants. Really kicking myself right now." Spidey scuffs his foot against gravel but you know what? It's okay!

"I mean, Gotham isn't all that bad. I don't have a lot of help from Batman and co. That man is terrifying. I'd rather be LEAGUES away than get in his way." True. Don't fuck with Batman!

"YOU LIVE HERE?" Did he yell? Little bit. But he covers his mouth for a second and just adds. "Sorry. I thought the embassy was like...an embassy." that...was dumb to say. But it's clear Miles figured it a PR stunt or a 'rich people only' spot. "Coool. Man, the Justice League must be amazing." He shrugs though.

"Have you seen the first Spider-Man? There's nothing he can't do. I'm just trying to keep up!"

Diana Prince has posed:
When he releases her hand and apologize, Diana smiles a little more openly then, her cheeks dimpling some close to the corners of her lips. "You are fine. Believe it or not, I am used to it." She tells him as her right hand goes to rest on her hip for a moment now. At his summation of Batman, she smiles again before lightly shaking her head. "I do not go to Gotham unless Batman asks me too, for that very reason." She says, perhaps joking? Perhaps not.

"It has been awhile since I saw the other Spider-man, but we used to work together, at least loosely. He gave me a way of contact him, but I think it went out of service some time ago. If you see him, tell him to 'swing by' the Themysciran Embassy again. You... both are welcome, of course. In fact, if you are ever in Metropolis, and wish to see some of the Justice League up close, then just come to the Hall of Justice and reach out for me. I will happily give you a tour of the facility there."

She smiles once more toward him, before glancing toward the north east. When she looks back to him, she starts to turn. "Sadly, I have to be on my way... But I am glad to have caught a chance to meet you." She states, Wonder Woman making a little pun there, even.

She steps toward the edge of the building and raising one foot up to its ledge, her right hand resting atop her thigh. "Stay safe, swing carefully." She advises him.

Miles Morales has posed:
The smile is enough for even Gods to take notice, but for the innocence of Mikes Morales, he just finds himself Starstruck! "That makes every bit of sense in the entire world! You're...I mean, you're Wonder Woman! Part of the Trinity with Batman and Superman! You kinda rule." Nobody touches Batman's town without Batman's permission. "I genuinely think I'm only operating because Batman is letting me."

Truer words rarely spoken but Miles catches the rarity! "God, he's so cool. I feel like he knows everybody. Of course you two are friends!" The open invitation for a personal tour with Wonder Wonah through the Hall of Justice makes his mouth drop, obscured completely by the mask and only noticeable by his jaw getting longer. Miracle it isn't on the floor!

She's gotta scram? So does he! "Oh yeah, don't let me stop you-" PUNS! Wonder Woman is goated. "Hah! Good one. It was really amazing meeting you too. No promises!" He cheers as he performs a twisting somersault off of the roof's edge, a web line firing off to the corner of another building as momentum builds anew.

"HEY NEW YORK! Wonder Woman RULES!
