Cir-El has posed:
It's been weeks since Cir-El ran into Wonder Woman at the Hall of Justice and introduced herself. Or, depending on one's view, 'Babbled a bunch of awkward word salad about being from the future and it being 'hella awkward' trying to introduce herself to people'. And there had been some vague mentionings of Cir-El perhaps visiting Themyscira.

And then Cir-El was somewhat distracted by what distracts all teenage crime-fighters... crime fighting is /way/ more fun than, you know, responsibility. Sure, she's got a responsible streak, you might say it runs in the family... but like, it's responsible to stop bank robberies! Keep trains from derailing!

It's also responsible to visit NYC for awesome pizza and then as you're eating it and walking, realize you should try to reach out to Wonder Woman about that whole... getting comfortable in the past thing.

Which is why Cir-El is pacing back and forth in front of the embassy, fingers flexing and curling with nervous energy, voice mumbling, "Oh c'mon... you can /do/ this... just like... go in and ask if they have a /form/. They totally have a form for leaving messages for Wonder Woman... or like, a video booth or... god, this is so dumb... so /stupid/... At least Batman just has a big stupid spotlight you can turn on and then HE shows up and like... yeah it's awkward but he's Batman so it's /always/ awkward, and that's on him... shit!"

Cir-El is, in fact, doing just fine psyching herself up. Really.

Caitlin Fairchild has posed:
The embassy guards are watching Cir-El with bemused expressions. Eventually one of them decides she's had enough entertainment, and there is a quiet instruction to go and fetch someone named Aiktaerine. It doesn't take long for an absolutely towering redheaded woman to emerge from the Embassy, her sleek red hair worn in the same braiding as the rest of the Amazons and held back by a delicate-looking bronze hairpiece. Like the other Amazons she wears thick, golden bracers on her wrists. The rest of her attire is as American as it gets, with white Keds, grey calf-length leggings, and a well-loved hoodie with 'Columbia Med' in crackling white vinyl across her chest.

When Cir-El looks her way, Caitlin flashes her friendliest smile. "I know you," she informs the girl with a pleased tone. "You're Cir-El. Kara's told me everything about you," she explains. "I don't think we've had the chance to meet officially though. Do you need to talk to Diana about something?" she inquires, and gestures at the open doors invitingly. "You're welcome to come inside. None of us bite," she says, and flashes a dimple-cheeked grin.

Cir-El has posed:
Cir-El's been getting better at not babbling things from the future... not that it's been /too/ hard to avoid spoiling people on things of course, with a recent drought of renowned movies she recalls from her time in the future. But somehow, /people/ are so much easier to recall. Especially costumed people.

And it's not like there are a /ton/ of tall, intimidating redheads in her memory.

The momentary gaping stare probably doesn't even read as 'Cir-El is sure she's met this woman in the future' so much as 'Wow, she's tall.' so she's half certain Caitlin's used to that kind of star.

She offers a wry little grin and then goes wide-eyed, "Oh my god! /Everything/?!" She looks truly, honestly, entirely stunned.

Less because she thinks Kara's been spilling secrets about her to someone she doesn't know, and more because she's worried Kara is /making up secrets/ and sharing them with someone she doesn't even know.

She laughs nervously, right hand clutching her left upper arm, head shaking swiftly, "Oh! Not like... looking for her /now/ like it's an emergency. But we ran into each other and I was kind of hoping I could like... uhh... sign up for a mentorship thing of sorts? I mean, I'm kind of... /new in town/ and also... yeah, my memory's not the greatest, so a sort of refresher course on..." She gestures vaguely with her free hand, "Y'know, everything that's not New York's finer cheap pizza places." She eyes the embassy and grins lopsidedly, "Plus, I mean, figured I'd check out the sights here if nothing else."

She steps forward, eyes narrowing at that promise no one bites, "...I /knew/ Kara was kidding about that..."
