Cast of Characters: Mary Jane Watson, Felicia Hardy

Mary Jane Watson has posed:
It had been awhile since the two had caught up with one another. They were both sort of friends - as much as a field agent and one of the best thieves in the world could manage. Mary Jane has settle din over at a table at the Swordfish, where she has a drink in front of her and is humming. Large hoop earrings dangling and her fingers tapping along to some music playing.

Felicia Hardy has posed:
It's a wide world out there for a cat burglar to pursue whatever she wants. Jaunting off to Singapore or laying low with a cheap bottle of champagne, reading trashy novels. Imagination can run wild and the white-haired socialite isn't going to say which.

She slinks in wearing a nubbled red cashmere coat, belted loosely, knee-high boots a nod to not being quite cold enough to wear but stylish anyway. Fashion over function, baby. She pushes her haloed sunglasses up over her white hair upon entry, blinking to let her eyes adjust. "How delightfully spooky." Felicia opines of the decor, such as it is. "Just needs some more skeletons and pirates to feel right at home." Her ponytail swings as she circles around to the spot Mary Jane has selected for herself.

Mary Jane Watson has posed:
Mary Jane Watson would glance over at Felicia and give a wave, "Hey. I figured that it'd be your kind of year. Sorry the place isjn't quite so entertaining as what you're used to. But it's good to catchup once in awhile." Felicia's given a full smile. "And you look stylish as always. Sorry here won't have quite the drinks that you're used to. But they have a lot of strong things and really greasy food." Because you need strong things when you're thrown out of a VTOL Transport into a Hydra den.

"Hope you've gottne some good scores lately. Not heard anything in the news so figure you've not been robbing Avenger's Mansion."

Felicia Hardy has posed:
"My kind of year? That means all years are mine," Felicia says. Her head tilts curiously as she swings around, her hobo purse plopped in front of her. "Nothing to complain about. We find joy where we can. I will never turn down good company or a decent drink."

She won't necessarily order food here, but that's not exactly a problem. Her figure isn't kept slim by noshing. "Mary Jane, you couldn't think I'm so gauche to pick a target like that. That would be so dull. No, I've been entirely behaved. Tell me what you've gotten up to? "

Mary Jane Watson has posed:
Mary Jane Watson would smile, "Well, I'll take the company. Not sure that you'd call the drinks decent but to each their own." She goes to clank over a bottle of beer with whatever Felicia's having. "Well, things have been chaotic. But.. I guess within the boundaries of normal. Big alien ship mind controlling people into zombies was seized a couple weeks ago. Wasn't my op but it's been what's having the recent buzz. Change of pace from Hydra, Sentinels, and AIM."

She goes to lift out a small package. "Got you something. Figured that it'd fit the season and get a laugh out of you." The small package is pushed over.

Felicia Hardy has posed:
"Not even decent?" Felicia's eyes widen and she sits back. "Then why aren't we making a run for it somewhere? This is absolutely madness. You can't sit in a city with this many watering holes and not find a way to enjoy yourself."

She might just run out the door. "What do you mean an alien ship with zombies? I'm sure Lake Como is remote but not that remote." Her surprise registers as a faint note. "Where did those come from? And you shouldn't have, really." Nonetheless, she takes the present, altogether aware she doesn't have one in return. Ooh, surprises. Her perfect manicure isn't endangered by lightly tearing open the tape.

Mary Jane Watson has posed:
Mary Jane Watson would chuckle, "Well, as much as I'd enjoy liberating something, I'm pretty sure that Sonja's palette goes more to what they have here. And you don't seem the type to want to make a play for going for Asgardian mead. And I'm sure that if you went to the Themysciran Embassy they'd be happy to share, and it's not as fun that way."

She would sigh, "And I've not heard more of the specifics. Basically some sort of.. I think they're calling it a Scout? Was abducting humans. They were pretty powerful psionically and were mind controlling people. They had some sort of robotic servitors with them.. For the most part they looked like the Greys you see in all the B-Movies." Business is business.

She looks interested to see what Felicia's reaction is. "Saw it and I thought of you. And one more thing which I'm pretty sure you already have a version of but that I thought you would have fun with." But first, the headband.
