Synopsis: Miles meets up with a Super Pro.
Cast of Characters: Mary Jane Watson, Miles Morales

Mary Jane Watson has posed:
It's a busy day in Manhattan. A few days ago explosions went off around the Daily Bugle investigated by the Avengers. The damage has since been repaired, but it's also meant some extra patrols by other heroes in the area just to be on the safe side. It's fairly quiet, and rather cold for a fall day. Windy and grey.

Miles Morales has posed:
"Can't believe someone stsrted blowing up the Bugle! I hope JJJ isn't super pissed about it. Last time he was angry, I brought him flaming hot Saganaki..."

No dice this time around.

It's fairly calm, nice and chilly though as the red and black-clad Spider-Man swings through New York with a scarf around his neck! "Nothing coming around those corners? Check! Man, speaking of checks, I could stand to earn one...."

Mary Jane Watson has posed:
On one hand, it was blowing up the Bugle. On the other hand, it was blowing up the Bugle. Decisions, decisions.. But, on this slinging day things seem to be quiet. Traffic is backed up, people are yelling, making rude gestures in the direction of the United Nations building, massive amounts of construction and.. Well, all of the normal things. Then, Miles sees someone running along the ground at high speed. Going at speeds no ordinary human could match, weaving in and out of people on the sidewalk, rushing like a.. Football lineman.

Wearing what can only be described as a power armor looking football uniform, complete with massive shoulderpads and a helmet. People on the sidewalk yell at him as he passes, even as somehow he goes at full tilt without running into anyone or shoving them out of the way. There's a grace in his movements at high speed despite the sheer ridiculousness of it.

Miles Morales has posed:
No one blows up the Bugle! Not on Miles's watch. You could say he's feeling kinda high-strung, maybe a little on edge. So as he swings from building to building down the street, imagine his surprise to see-

....a really enthusiastic linebacker?

He extends his webline, swinging low enough to see Superpro on a fairly similar level, though Miles has to be VERY careful, if he runs into a person at the right velocity, they could go splat!

"Hey man! I'm uh...not exactly a sports fan but I think the yard line is that-a-way." he jerks a thumb towards the direction of the arena.

Mary Jane Watson has posed:
He's clearly chasing someone. "He's getting away!" The rather upbeat lineback, despite running in and out of people isn't barreling through them or slamming them, maneuvering with the grace of someone rushing through the defensive line. And up ahead of him can be seen the guy that he's likely pursuing that's carrying a load of..

They look like sports jerseys. A big, big amount of those super cheap team t-shirts you get from a convenience store.

Miles Morales has posed:
"Who's getting away?"

Miles turns the white films covering his eyes forward as his head looks up, a hum on his voice as he narrows his eyes and sees...someone stealing sports jerseys? "Aww come on! Those are so cheap you could buy them with groceries and still be under budget!" Miles groans, looking at Superpro.

"Hang tight, I got this!"

Spider-Man swings to a higher altitude, slingshotting himself through the air and inverting himself in the flip, his hand making a gesture and a thick glob of web is fired right for the thief's feet!

Mary Jane Watson has posed:
But still, the guy wearing the strange gimmick armor and helmet is still runnign along, "Stealing's still wrong! He's taking things that kids could enjoy!" Never mind they look like adult sizes, are that super stretchy, super cheap fabric that mostly itches when you put it on and no one in their right mind wants to wear for more than five minutes before they throw it in a closet and it vanishes like sock gremlins!

The man is easily webbed up and yoinked on down, hitting the ground hard! Fortunately the thick layers of highly cheap shirts cushion his impact!
