Cast of Characters: Clint Barton, Clea

Clint Barton has posed:
Some time had past since Clint had proposed and Clea had accepted. Life got busy, things happened. More so, Clint got busy working on a few projects and various SHIELD duties. Took him away from the main action but his duties were important enough to warrant it.

So on the rare day off, Clint was sprawled out across the sofa, one leg over the arm rest, one arm on the back rest with a Magazine draped over him held in his free hand. It was a dream vacations magazine and he was intently reading an article on Tahiti, brows squinted in thorough concentration.

Clea has posed:
Clea had been much the same as Clint, but she wasn't a SHIELD Agent. She probably could be though if she wanted to. She'd actually been out to see about a small situation that had developed in the Dark Dimension. Thankfully she had returned home in one piece.

It was easy to just teleport into her private sanctum as that is what it was partially built for. "Clint?" she calls as she appears.

She heads through to the living room and there's a smile as she sees him sprawled out across the sofa, "I take it work hasn't called you in today?" she muses as she crosses the room to lean over the back of the couch. "You look comfy though." she grins at him.

Clint Barton has posed:
Clint lets the magazine fall to his chest as Clea's voice now near him is amplified by his hearing aids. He gives her a crooked sort of grin, a sly sort of look. "Well look who's back. Hope it wasn't too much trouble back home?"

As she mentions him being comfortable, he stretches and rises. "I was thinking about a nap. Work's been silent so... here I am." He puts both his arms on the back of the sofa, crossed over on another and looks up at Clea. "Hello." His head rises and he kisses her forehead.

Clea has posed:
"It was not too much trouble. There's always some crisis going on though." Clea tells him with a soft sigh. "Nothing to be too troubled on." she adds. "There has been an issue of my uncle sending agents out and after me. I wanted to make sure that there were not any currently out and about. Especially with everything that is going on in our lives currently." she explains.

She watches him rise and she gives a soft smile. She closes her eyes when he presses the kiss to her forehead, breathing a sigh of relief as she is happy to be home, "Hello to you too." she grins. "Did you have plans for dinner? We could go out or something of that nature if you feel like it." she offers.

"I take it work has been busy?" she asks him.

Clint Barton has posed:
"Ah, you're uncle. What a pesky one he is." Clint comments with a look of sympathy to Clea. "Well, I'll keep an eye out as well. You won't have any trouble with me about. I've got great aim, you know." He winks, knowing that anyone from the Dark Dimension could probably dispose of him... but he'd put up a fight at the least.

He shakes his head, "No plans. We can go out. Your pick." Then a shrug, "Busy as it usually is. Just picked up some slack is all. IT needed to be done."

Clea has posed:
"Pesky is an understatement on that one." Clea muses to that as she reaches out to run her fingers through his hair and muss it a bit. "I remember that." she teases him. "You wouldn't have to take anything on alone either." she points out. "Maybe I'll put in a pick up order and we can just walk down and get it, stretch our legs a bit and enjoy the last of the warmer days before Winter tries to take over." she offers.

"Anything exciting happen besides wrangling?" she asks him. "I know the Avengers lost Banner for a bit. Which was concerning." she frowns.

Clint Barton has posed:
Clint smirks as she runs her fingers through his hair, leaning forwards again to place a warm kiss upon her lips. "Nope, we won't eer have to face anything alone as long as we have each other and our friends."

He turns his head to the side, "Take Out sounds fine, it is starting to get chilly out that's for sure. What were you thinking, chinese maybe?" The news about Banner was news to him. "That's the first I'm hearing of it. What, ah... what happened?" He was perhaps far too busy with SHIELD duties and being Dad to a Young Avenger to have focused on Avenger centric stuff.

Clea has posed:
Clea returns his kiss and there is a soft smile to him, "You know folks are going to probably find out about the engagement, so I'm not sure if you want to plan to tell people or we can just tell people as it comes up. I'm not sure if it gets out publicly if your fan base will riot." she whispers to him with a grin. "As for the weather...it doesn't effect me either way, more worried on you." she admits.

"I could go for Chinese. Sounds like it might be the best bet." she admits. "I guess there was an incident with a lab? I'm not sure. I need to reach out to Cap and see if it got straightened out." she admits.

Clint Barton has posed:
"Fan base? I only care about two fans. That's you, and Kate." Clint says with a chuckle. "Seriously though, perhaps we should set up a time to tell folks. Maybe have a little get together here or something." He shrugs, not really best at planning parties and the like and though he lived here this was Clea's place. "I'm from Iowa, sweetheart. It gets really cold and windy in the Winter. I'm fine. Trust me." He chuckles.

"Yeah I could really go for some Pork Lo Mein with a couple Eggrolls..." His stomach growls.

Clea has posed:
Clea gives a soft smile, "I know darling, I was just teasing." she tells him. "And how is Kate doing?" she asks him. "We could do a small party or something for friends and associates. Could also see about renting a place to do it if you don't want our personal space intruded upon." she comments. "I've never been to Iowa, actually I've not been to a lot of places." she sighs.

"Alright. Let's get you up and fed before your stomach tries to attack a chair or something." she teases him.

Clint Barton has posed:
"Well take a long Honeymoon and go see all the places. You can just zip us there." He offers with a chuckle. "Kate... well I need to catch up with her. I really have been so busy. She had too I'm sure. School and all. I'm sure she's fine."

"Here or another place. It's up to you. I don't think they'd be too intrusive here." He offers. Then there is a fervent nod, "Yes, food please." And a chuckle.
