Ray Palmer has posed:
Mid-day, Sunday, and Ray is out and about with his phone in hand as he wanders Washington Square Park. The man really just needed OUT of the lab, even he can only take so much. So, go go Pokewalk! Exercise, Fresh Air, NO Science, just a pretty, sunny day, though a bit brisk at mid-50's temperatures. In short, a perfect autumn day for the walk!

"OH man, a Ryhorn!" He exclaims and begins his effort to capture the thing, currently protecting a gym, but soon...oh yes...VERY very soon...it will be HIS!

The man is dressed in a light blue polo, a tan windbreaker, and comfy jeans, the jacket only half zipped. He's also very very focused on his bid to capture that rare Pokemon, and barely aware of his surroundings.

Julia Carpenter has posed:
Sunday is the Official Carpenter Girls Pokewalk Day!

They've done their homework on where to hit up on which days. The Washington Park area seems to be most active on Sunday's, so that's where they head! Julia is in nice hip-length shearling coat over a pastel blue t-shirt, worn bootleg jeans, a nice pair of sneakers. That long hair put into an equally long ponytail. Rachel is in a fluffy Eevee hoodie over a cream thermal shirt, cute jeans, and trendy sneakers with Pokemon on them.

Rachel is busy staring into her phone, so Julia takes position to her left to help steer Rachel around people that she might otherwise run into. She's too busy chasing after a Rhyhorn that's just popped up on her screen. "Left, mom! We gotta go left!" Rachel starts to jog, leaving Julia to laugh and hurry to catch up.

"Rache, stay close. There's going to be a bunch of Pokemon today!" Julia catches up to Rachel and ruffles the hood with a smile, "You in range? Remember, you can use your candies to make it easier."

Ray Palmer has posed:

There's a fair amount of folks Pokewalking, though the game is less popular than it was for a while after it came out, it is still plenty popular. Ray almost feels guilty for having gotten to the Ryhorn first as a couple of kids look on, hoping he'll lose, but then moving on. Hey! He has a right to play too, right? Right!

Even so, he keeps up his capture bid, a pattern of the various berries deployed in careful sequence he's found effective, and then just as Rachel and Julia arrive he takes a step back and nearly bumps into the hurrying pair, twisting to avoid that collision and then falling on over a park bench with a 'mrowp'.

*THUD*

"Ah HAAAAAAA!" He crows, holding up his phone. "I got you, Ryhorn!" Mind, only his hand and phone are visible at the moment, then he grips the back of the bench with his free hand and rises, brushing some leaves off him, and pausing to look sideways at one stuck to his cheek, then pursing his lips with no dignity at all to blow it off.

A smile to Julia and Rachel. "Sorry! You two okay?" He asks utterly unperturbed by the fall, boyish grin friendly, brown eyes bright.

Julia Carpenter has posed:
Julia is moving at a clipped pace alongside Rachel, chuckling as she races to catch the Rhyhorn. Fast enough that she nearly runs into a man who seems to be after the same Pokemon! Julia gets Rachel under the arms and swings her around to avoid the collision. Setting Rachel back down just in time for the man to crow out about the Rhyhorn.

Smiling at Rachel, she nudges, "Sorry bout the Rhyhorn, Rache. But I think there's supposed to be Voltorb's here too.." Rachel looks to Ray and smiles brightly, "We're good! Mom's quick. Grats on the Rhyhorn!"

Julia looks to Ray and offers a quick smile, "No harm, no foul. I know how intense these POkehunts can be. Usually I'm more worried about being trampled by ten year olds but... hey, new experiences, right?"

Ray Palmer has posed:
"If she started the catch while I was on the capture screen she MIGHT have a chance still." Ray looks very hopeful about that possibility. Julia's swift reaction to keep her daughter from being trampled was noted, though then over the bench Ray went. Still, he grins at them. Sadly, it seems she didn't, then he grins. "Tell you what..." He gets down to Rachel's level, smiling. "...I was just trying to build up my catch combo, want to trade someone for him?" A grin. "I saw how quick your mom is! She really IS, I'm glad you're okay."

Ray grins up to Julia. "Well, they can, but trampling kids is still very uncool." Straightening up, he offers a hand. "I'm Ray."

Julia Carpenter has posed:
"Nah, I was still feeding berries and using items... it's cool! I've got like.. extra lure power, for the next hour. And I dropped a module, so you'll get some extra lure power too!" Rachel flashes a grin towards Ray and waggles her phone at him. "So there'll probably be more of them soon!" She looks back to her phone, "I'm hoping I can lure out a Persian or Eevee!"

Julia smiles down at Rachel and gives her a quick one-armed hug, then looks to Ray with a smile. Reaching out to take his hand, she offers a firm shake, "I'm Julia, this is Rachel. It's nice to meet you, Ray." Rachel offers a quick grin but is already nose-deep in her phone again, trying to see what she can find.

Chuckling at her daughter's distraction, Julia smiles towards Ray, "Walk and talk? Rachel's bent on getting all the Eevee-lutions, so she's going to be running off any second now."
