Synopsis:	Zatanna contacts Mary Jane so the two can go out wolf-busting.

Mary Jane Watson has posed:
She was repaying a favor. It was going to be an interesting one. She hadn't been on this side of town in awhile. The bell would ring as she would enter Ray's Occult as she would look curiously over at some of the wards setup designed to contain spooks, spectres, and ghosts. Glancing up and over to take in the view of a sigil of a paranormal eliminator. Slid over her back was a second sword that she hadn't had the last time she had met Zatanna.
    Smaller than her primary weapon, a hook more in the style of Asgardian blades.

Zatanna Zatara has posed:
The woman dressed in a black tailored suit looks up when the bell rings. With a nod to the man helping her, she waves a hand over her purchases, repeating a word that reduces them to the size of an envelope and slips them into the pocket of her jacket.

When Zatanna is certain that she won't be overheard, she discreetly joins the new arrival. "I see you came prepared. Thank you for that."

Mary Jane Watson has posed:
Mary Jane Watson would nod over at Zatanna, "Yeah. I didn't know if there was a specific thing they were vulnerable to or not so I didn't grab anything else to take with me. Figured you could cover that. So what exactly do you need taken care of?" She'd been lucky in having not had to fight werebeasts as much.

Zatanna Zatara has posed:
Zatanna's blue eyes flick to the pommel of the sword rising over Mary Jane's back with approval.

"Back up is always welcome. There has been quite a ressurgence of attacks recently. Still not enough to alert the news outlets but we are not far from it. It would be hubris on my part to think that I could take on a pack by myself especially if they are receiving occult help. I suspect they are. Have you heard anything?"

Mary Jane Watson has posed:
Mary Jane Watson would shake her head, "Haven't heard anything, but I don't do a lot of WAND things." SHIELD's specialized magic division. "And I don't work with folks that tend to respond to this type of stuff." THe Spiders tended to not get involved in a lot of magic stuff unless it was by total accident.

"Are we looking to just disable them? Do you think you can treat them or contain them if not?"

Zatanna Zatara has posed:
Zatanna's gaze grows distant as she considers how to approach the problem. Her blue eyes clear, as she replies in a low, rapid voice. "Best case scenario we find the head werewolf and parlay with them. Worst case we take out the offending pack. Personally, I would like to find out what is behind the attacks. Vendetta? A turf war between packs with civilians caught in the middle? A trap of some bizarre kind?

Mary Jane Watson has posed:
Mary Jane Watson would nod, "So what have they been doing so far? Have they been fighting over the same general area? Have people turned up missing? Has there been a solid amount of property damage?" She gets thoughtful. "If the pack is.. Focused on a specific objective they're likely gonig to be hitting the area consistently rather than spreading out. There will be a burst of activity until they get what they're after then it will quiet down. If it's going at a slow burn for awhile and spread out it means they're skirmishing."

Zatanna Zatara has posed:
"One burnt out building with casualties when an adjacent building caught on fire. That was in the news with three reported deaths and injuries from smoke inhalation. One of the bodies found was odd." She pauses frowning, "911 calls reporting fights in the streets and coyotes howling. Someone called in a large dog lurking by a dumpster." A smirk curls her lips at that last tidbit. Shaking her head, "I only caught wind of it by overhearing some stage hands talking about wanting to carry guns with them at night. Then, an informant in the police let me know abut the surge in strange calls."

Mary Jane Watson has posed:
Mary Jane Watson would nod thoughtfully. "Got it. So do you know exactly where they operate out of or we just going to be sweeping around the area and see if we can find them or bait them?" That's the trickier part. But Zatanna will be able to track them handily, hopefully. "And you going to want me there for bodyguard duties or to deal with them if they get rowdy? Or something more involved?" SHe'll do whatever she can.

Zatanna Zatara has posed:
A smile erases the concern on her face, "Feel like taking a long walk around the neighborhood. I'm going to cast for magic and keep my eye out for fur. I didn't bring my lint remover with me. Are you feeling particularly like wolf bait this evening, Mary Jane?

Mary Jane Watson has posed:
Mary Jane Watson would sigh, "I suppose I can handle it. Just let me Bob Barker then if the opportunity comes up and we need it." Hand over on her Asgardian blade.. And the two head out into the night.
