Cast of Characters: Bunny Macleod, Mark Grayson

Bunny Macleod has posed:
At the end of the night when the glitter and make up has been wiped away, when her face has been washed and moisturized, the tips counted and divided and instruments tucked into gigbags or cleaned, Bunny had planned on maybe a round of vigilante justice on her way home, and changed into her special work clothes, then hid 'em beneath a jacket and some leggings, goggles tucked up under a beanie with a pompom.

"Night Beau, 'Night Topher!" she called out, taking the 'stage entrance' door to the back alley, above where the entrance to the Burrow was.

Mark would have probably seen her 'work clothes' were gone, if he had folded laundry, or looked in the closet. But Buns just pauses and looks up to the tiny slice of sky directly above her, breath catching in the cold night -- but New York City's lights don't really allow for a good view of the stars.

Mark Grayson has posed:
Mark has arrived some time ago. He had caught most of Bunny's show, but left earlier. There's a reason for that as Bunny comes out and gives her good nights. He watches the others depart until it's just Bunny in the alley. Once he's sure that they are gone, Mark comes floating down and lands near Bunny, "Someone call for... an Uber?"

A warm smile touches his features, dressed in his costume - he's clearly not affected by the cold, he's pretty resilent on that front. Temperature changes don't affect him. But now that he's down on the ground, he opens his arms and waits for his girlfriend to finish preparing and then climb aboard.

Bunny Macleod has posed:
"Well, if it isn't Invincible." Bunny states with a small smile, and she gives a small grin, looking up at his be-goggled eyes. "I didn't, but I could use a lift." she smiles, discarding her coat (but keeping the beanie -- she just loops her goggles over it to keep it in place) as she takes a step over, and then leaps into Mark's arms.

"It's always harder around Christmas. Beau's doing up a big party. You're invited." she gives a small grin.

Mark Grayson has posed:
"If it isn't Prisma of the Young Avengers." Mark responds with a fond smile for the woman he loves. As she leaps into his arms, he shifts her around into a comfortable princess carry. "Thought I'd do something a little different tonight." he tells her with a secret little smile coming to his features.

"We'll go to the party." A pause. "Is it going to be weird? Like a white elephant party? Am I going to end up with assless chaps and have to explain that my girlfriend is bi, but I'm not?" he asks with a smirk, and once she's comfortable, he lifts into the air - but she can quickly tell - he's not heading towards Morningside Heights.

Bunny Macleod has posed:
"They know you're straight." Bunny gives a small smile as she holds tight to Mark, arms drawing over his shoulders and around his neck. She trusts him not to drop her unless they're doing some freefall.

"Ugh. No. Assless chaps are banned unless cleared by the management. I guess in 2020 *everyone* gave assless chaps. -- but there is a gift exchange. Limit's ten bucks -- also because of the assless chaps."

Mark Grayson has posed:
"Oh good." Mark says with a laugh. "I mean, they already know I'm firmly attached to your hip. And head over heels." A kiss pressed to her cheek with warm affection as the pair drift closer to their destination. "Okay. Close your eyes." he tells her.

After several seconds, making sure that her eyes are closed, hopefully she trusts him enough to do that, he grins. "You can open them." When she does, she's in for a sight.

They are over Rockefeller Center. The tree is fully decorated and lit. There's a few skaters in the ice rink, but it's all decorated, lit up bright and joyfully for the holiday as Mark is taking Bunny in a slow loop around the tree. "If I had a wish, I would want you to be next to me, holding my hand." he tells her quietly as they make the rotation.

Bunny Macleod has posed:
"Close my eyes?" she questions, and Bunny closes her eyes. Her nose scrunches up, with a fairly petulant look about her, some of her hair drifting into her face before she's allowed to open her eyes, and she gasps. Seeing Rokefeller at night, glowing and lit up, dazzling lights, and she clings a little tighter to Mark.

"It's so beautiful!" she whispers out, her shoulders rising up. Art knew what he was doing -- she doesn't feel the chill anywhere that her skin's not showing. But she does feel warmth from Mark. Or at least, she imagines it.

"... Maybe Santa can bring that next year. Until then? You'll just have to carry me." she gives a wry smile, leaning her head against his shoulders.

Mark Grayson has posed:
Mark grins warmly, she doesn't just imagine it, he is pretty warm. And the way she looks in the light, he feels that heart skip a beat again. "I dunno, I already owe Santa pretty big. After all, you're here with me." he points out to her.

If there was any worry that he was more into Sunny, they're gone. He's with her. "I don't mind carrying you, Bun." he admits quietly. "I'd take you anywhere I need you to be with me - or anywhere you want to go." When she leans in against her, he holds her a little tighter as he completes the orbit of the tree and plaza and turns in the direction of home.

"I have everything I could already ask for." he admits quietly. And he leaves it at that as he turns to start to head towards home.
