Miles Morales has posed:
THE ULTIMATE SLICE!

COSMIC BALANCE ALL SCALED ON THE DISCUS SHAPE OF A THIN-CRUST SLICE.

Or so it says on the Ultimate Slice's posters all over the place. Miles never minded it, of course, they had amazing pizza and he was eager to grab a bite. He had just finished his classes for the day, his hair in it's usual high-fade, though he seems to be experimenting with dreadlocks! The tips of them have been highlighted blonde, making frosted tips look SO MUCH COOLER in the process.

...kinda.

But as he walks into the ULtimate Slice, he checks his text messages, trying to see if Laura had gotten his earlier text in invitation for today. Why?

BECAUSE THE COSMIC POWER MUST BE SHARED!

....well, because eating pizza alone sucks.

Laura Kinney has posed:
The ultimate slice. Ironic really when you think about it. When Laura first met Miles she was slicing sharks with her claws.

Claws that can cut through pretty much anything. In a way they're able to make the perfect slice.

Don't ask X-23 to cook you a pizza though. Unless you want the tomato sauce replacing with hot sauce. The toppings replacing with various hot peppers. And for your pizza oven to be re-classified as a chemical weapons testing facility and raided by SHIELD.

Laura generally communicates through mysterious ways and means. But if she says she'll be somewhere she's generally there. She might be 'there' in the adjacent building with a high powered rifle. But she's not one for failing to show. Unless the worlds about to end. Then she tends to let social engagements slide a little.

She's been around for a while. Long enough to check the place out. Make sure no hoards of goons are plotting an ambush. And find a suitable table. In the corner so she can sit with the entire room visible to her. Using a menu to hide herself as she surveys the establishment.

She's in her usual generic casual sort of look. Long dark hair, pale skin, charcoal grey clothing that seems to blend into the background. At least she's not packing any deadly weapons for a change.... Okay okay. Those are stashed nearby. But don't tell Miles that.

Miles Morales has posed:
Is she hiding? Miles can't tell. He's trying to look for her, scratching the top of his head. His Spider-Sense isn't going off, he doesn't feel like he's about to get BODIED by Rhino or something...hm. She might just be doing her 'fly on the wall' thing. Miles takes a moment to observe his surroundings before eventually, perhaps mercifully, he manages to spot Laura sitting in the corner of the room!

"Hey Laura!" Miles gives her a big wave and a bigger smile, no doubt unintentionally outing her, but that's the thing about Gotham: Unless you're name is a codename like Joker, Two-Face, Firely, etc? Nobody might care. Though unless her identity is public and folks have a problem with the Outsiders?

Yeah, that might be kinda rough.

But Miles makes his way over to her immediately and starts setting his backpack down. "Hey, I'm really glad you could make it. Is it cool if I join you?"

Laura Kinney has posed:
Laura doesn't shout a response in return. She's here covertly because... well that's how she does everything. Plus her super nose means she pretty much knew Miles was here once he'd come through the doors. Still no-one even remotely glances up at the sound of her name. So after a long pause she relaxes. Tension easing from her shoulders as she motions for Miles to join her.

Her ID is technically public. But they're probably good unless SHIELD are having a pizza party. And if they did? They wouldn't do it in Gotham. Bruce would get mad.

"It would be pretty weird if we both turned up and sat apart," she points out with a hint of amusement. "How have you been? Busy with.." She sniffs again instinctively. "Your side job?"
