Samuel Guthrie has posed:
Sam Guthrie has asked Izzy to come over and help him consider some changes to the apartment. Since it is just going to be his place now, he figures he should make it more him. Some of the things may stay for a while, but something like a new bed needs to be gotten.

Isabel Kane has posed:
Izzy is more than happy to offer advice and suggestions, though she expects Sam largely knows what he wants and she'll be reaffirming those decisions. When she arrives, there's a lingeirng kiss given before she pulls back to smile up at him. "Okay. Lets see what needs to go, what should stay, and what changes you want to make."

Samuel Guthrie has posed:
Sam Guthrie hugs and kisses her back, and leads her into the main living room, and says "Ah am thinking the living room can stay the same, maybe put a small desk in here, and turn the spare bedroom back to a spare bedroom, in case Paige wants to stay over.

Isabel Kane has posed:
Following along with him, Izzy looks around the living room with a small nod, then glances towards the kitchen, then back to Sam with a smile, "How about maybe adding a small, four person table between the kitchen and living room? That way you can have small dinners here, too. Just enough to have a few people over, but not enough that you'll be the person hosting the big parties." She slips an arm around his waist and smiles up at him, "So if I stay over, do I sleep on the couch, or can I get upgraded to sharing the master bedroom?"

Samuel Guthrie has posed:
Sam Guthrie says, "Well, Ah figure you would be in the bedroom with me, but Ah getting a new bed for the bedroom and probably redoing most of it. Just don't feel right even just me staying in there."

Isabel Kane has posed:
Izzy leans up to press a kiss ot the corner of his mouth, then smiles, "Oooooo, do I get to help pick out the new bed? Maybe get a drawer in the new dresser for when I stay over?" Her arm pulls back from his waist to take his hand instead, lacing her fingers through his, "If you want help with painting, I can do that, too. Or even just moving out the old stuff and moving in the new stuff."

Samuel Guthrie has posed:
Sam Guthrie nods, and says "Sounds like a plan for in there, probably get ya to help pick up the spare bedroom stuff to, that or just let Paige decorate it

Isabel Kane has posed:
"Don't decorate the guest room. Let it be a guest room. Keep it neutral, so you have a space for any sibling that comes visit. Or if your mom can be enticed up here, she'll have a space." Isabel smiles at him and gives a nod, "I can help with the spare room stuff, too."

Samuel Guthrie has posed:
Sam Guthrie hmmms and nods his head a bit to this and says "True, Ah figure Paige will be there the most, but yea Jay or Ma might come up, mind you if Ma it would probably be everyone.

Isabel Kane has posed:
Isabel chuckles softly and adds, "Either way, probably be best if the guest room were inviting to all your family, not just the one." She pauses, then adds, "You know, if that happens, I'd be happy to put some of 'em up at my place. Make it a little easier. I can always pull my office stuff into my room for a few days, that'll leave two rooms they can bunk down in."

Samuel Guthrie has posed:
Sam Guthrie nods and says "Well, Ma, might go with that Ah aint sure, more likely once she knows you and all." He says with his arm around her.

Isabel Kane has posed:
Smiling up at him, her arms around his shoulders, Izzy offers, "So about that... I was thinking. For Valentine's Day? I... want to go meet your mom and do something nice for her. Like.. maybe we can send her to a spa day and a really nice dinner.. and we'll run herd on your siblings?" Izzy winks at him, "We'll still spend the day together, we can order up pizza for everyone.. but it does something nice for your ma, too."

Samuel Guthrie has posed:
Sam Guthrie hmmms a bit thinking about this. He was not thinking about introducing her yet, but now that the idea is in his head. He hmmmms a bit more, and says "We could do that, but if we are going to stay in the same room for the night, we will need to get a hotel room or an air B&B don't want to give the little ones ideas.

Isabel Kane has posed:
Chuckling, she gives a nod, "Oh we definitely want to stay in a hotel or something. I don't wanna give your *ma* the wrong idea, either." Izzy grins at him, "Wouldn't want her to think I'm just seducing her eldest into living in sin together... she's gotta know that I mean to stick around for the long haul." Winking, she looks back to the room, "So for the bed.. thinking of going bigger or sticking with the same size mattress?"

Samuel Guthrie has posed:
Sam Guthrie says, "Well, there is only one bigger aint there? And You have to special order them or something don't ya?" He asks her, having not been to sure about other than standard bed sizes."

Isabel Kane has posed:
Izzy lifts a shrug, "If you've got a queen sized bed now, then you can go up to King, or California King which is even slightly bigger. So it just depends on if you're happy with the size of the bed, or if you want a bigger one."

Samuel Guthrie has posed:
Sam Guthrie says, "Well main bedroom is a king, I think it is big enough, maybe a queen for the spare bedroom? Something so gives someone staying there a little more space?""

Isabel Kane has posed:
Nodding to Sam, she smiles, "Okay, so King in the master bedroom, queen in the spare. Good idea. Do you want me to help you pick out some neutral furniture for the guest room? Are we doing any painting before we get new furniture in?"

Samuel Guthrie has posed:
Sam Guthrie hmmms and nods his head a bit and says "Well, Ah was thinking more posters to be honest, but might want to do some paintings. It might be my single pad, but Ah do want you to be comfortable here too.

Isabel Kane has posed:
Laughing softly, Izzy shakes her head and grins up at him, "Posters are fine. I meant, did you want to paint the walls before we get the new furniture in? Either refresh the paint already there, or change the color?" Leaning up, she kisses him lightly and smiles, "You're here and I'm here and as long as you want me here, I'm comfortable."

Samuel Guthrie has posed:
Sam Guthrie ahs and hmmms a bit and says "Ah, Ah had not thought of painting it, but that might not be a bad thing. It would help give the place more of a fresh feel. The thing is then what colors?"

Isabel Kane has posed:
"Well, that depends. For your room, pick a color you like. If it's a dark or bold color, paint one wall that color and the rest a complimentary but lighter shade. For the guest room, stick to something neutral and soothing... so maybe a light blue or grey. White's just so harsh for private spaces, people should be comfortable with spending time in a bedroom." Isabel lifts a shrug and smiles at him, "Only thing I suggest is stay away from beige, taupe, any shade of brown. It's literally a boring color and tends to make people not want to be in the room any longer than necessary. Same with pale green. Too 'hospital'."

Samuel Guthrie has posed:
Sam Guthrie hmmms and nods a bit to this and says "I think a blue or purple, once of those. Ah once did a purple costume for a while but think Ah would want a bit darker than Ah used then.

Isabel Kane has posed:
Isabel gives a nod and smiles at him, "We can pick out a color you like and get it mixed up. Usually takes a few days or weeks for furniture to arrive anyways, depending on what's ordered and from where. If it's something in stock it can be ready sooner. If it has to be ordered it can take awhile."

Samuel Guthrie has posed:
Sam Guthrie nods a bit and says "You going to help me paint it? Ah might be able to get a few friends to help.

Isabel Kane has posed:
"Of course! Wouldn't have suggested it if I weren't willing to help. Get a couple of us going and we can make an afternoon of it. Order in some food after, have a few beers, enjoy some good company." Izzy smiles up at him, nodding.

Samuel Guthrie has posed:
Sam Guthrie nods and says "Have to find a weekend we are both off, and make sure Berto knows we are doing the painting and not hiring someone to do it. That would be his first instinct.

Isabel Kane has posed:
Izzy laughs lightly, "Oh, so I'll finally get to meet the infamous 'Berto?" She smiles up at him, "Hmm.. well, think we can get away with a sleepover tonight? Popcorn and pillowforts and movies.. I can borrow one of your shirts to sleep in.. and maybe if I'm lucky you'll be in it?"

Sam Guthrie nods and says "Sounds like a plan, we can do popcorn or order pizza if ya want." He offers her, and hugs her rubbing her back. "Check to see what it on TV."
