I'm Not Sleepy, Promise!

Location:	Megan Morse's Apartment
Synopsis:	Jon and Megan have a brief Facetime before bed, the next date is set.

M'gann M'orzz has posed:
One evening after finishing up her homework for the night, Megan gets herself ready for bed. Face washed, teeth brushed, pajamas on, hair up and in a ponytail still. She makes herself a little something to eat and drink, tidies everything up, puts on some upbeat pop music in the background. And she decides to give Jon a Facetime call before she goes to settle in for the night.

Ringing him up, she's smiling warmly when he answers, giving him a small wave, "Hey Jon! How was your day? How'd you do on your Calc test, did the study date help?" She had offered to help him study for an upcoming Calculus test a few days ago.

THe date had gone well, but admittedly there were a few awkward moments with near-kisses and hands brushing against one another accidentally. Overall, a good, productive date.. but with a side of increasing tension!

Jon Kent has posed:
    "Yeah," Jon answers, he's laying on his back up on a rooftop - he'd told Megan before that he liked to climb up onto the roof of his building, though that's not where he is in this moment, "That trick for dealing with approximation really helped and there weren't as many integrals as I thought there were gonna be."

    He holds his phone up in front of him. Around him, the city of Metropolis sprawls in a glittering winter cityscape. The Daily Planet building isn't the tallest building in the City, but it's one of the most impressive. He's always liked coming here.

    "You settling in for the night?"

M'gann M'orzz has posed:
"Oh good. I know you'd been stressing it a little, I'm glad it worked out," M'gann flashes a smile at him, walking through her apartment before flopping down onto the couch. She can understand the enjoyment of a rooftop, so only asked him if he did the same on the family homestead.

Megan is cheating a little.. she's using telekinesis to keep her phone aloft as she chats with him, keeping it at a good angle and distance, but he gets peeks of the apartment. A poster here, the tv hung on the wall opposite the couch, a brief glimpse into what must be her room, with it's bed and small desk with a laptop on it and a corner of a dresser peeking out.

"Yeah, it's been quiet tonight so I figured I would turn in early and make sure I'm well-rested for that early class in the morning. Maybe we can meet up for lunch tomorrow?"

Jon Kent has posed:
    "I've got a thing in the afternoon," Jon replies, his brow furrowing in thought as he frowns, "I promised I'd help a friend with something."

    Being a Super-person is a life of commitments, both in and out of costume. This particular one involves his costume and a trip to California. Nothing he can't knock out in an hour or two, thankfully.

    "But I'm free in the evening? Maybe we could make it dinner instead?"

M'gann M'orzz has posed:
"Dinner works, if we can make it a little later.. say 8 o'clock? Want to come over and we'll have pizza and watch a movie or something?" Megan's response comes after a brie silent period where she calls up her schedule for the rest of tomorrow. She's supposed to check in with one of the teams, and that can take time, depending on what's going on. But she should be able to free up by late evening.

Smiling at him once more, she adds, "Weekly call with my uncle, where he checks in to make sure I'm doing okay and don't need anything. But I can make sure to be free by 8."

Jon Kent has posed:
    "Pizza sounds great!"

    Jon seems legitimately enthused about the notion of pizza, and his face breaks into a broad grin and sparkling white smile.

    "Sounds like a plan. Tell your uncle 'hey' from me?" Jon hasn't met the guy, but it only seems polite to do.

M'gann M'orzz has posed:
"Great! Then pizza tomorrow, 8 o'clock, my place. It's a date."

Megan flashes a grin at him, also enthusiastic over the pizza idea. Pizza is yummy! Also enthused at the date itself, but then, she's made no secret that she likes him.

"Oh, sure! I'm sure he'll want to meet you as soon as he can get free. But I'll tell him you say hi." Megan looks pleased, more than happy to pass along well wishes from one Jon to another.
