Synopsis: Emma visits Marie-Ange to catch up on their lives.
Cast of Characters: Marie-Ange Colbert, Emma Frost

Marie-Ange Colbert has posed:
It's a rainy Spring day in downtown New York, the kind of day that is often best spent inside. Which... is precisely what Marie is doing at the moment, sitting in her living room on the sofa in front of the fireplace. She's not just relaxing and being lazy, though, she's taking the opportunity of Mary being out visiting with her family to try out the acoustics in the living room, so her violin is up to her chin, and she's just fiddling away... the tune being played? Something from a Broadway show. Actually, two somethings; it's a bit of a mashup.

Emma Frost has posed:
Emma Frost would enter on in and move to fold her hands together, having come to check in on the girl that she's fondly taken in as her protege, glancing over at Marie-Ange with a smile. "Little Orphan Annie?" She would listen over and tap her foot to go along with it, humming gently while carrying along with the tune. "And you're looking well, Marie-Ange. THe last year has treated you much better."

Marie-Ange Colbert has posed:
Emma's arrival doesn't stop Marie's playing... instead, she shifts around to face in the woman's direction as she continues to play. "Madame Frost!" Her words, even, are spoken in time with the music. "Oui, it is. There is a revival being talked about, and I wish to be ready when the call goes out for auditions..." she replies, flashing a bright, cheery smile. "And merci! It has. Thanks to all the wonderful people in my life, I am left with very few things to complain about. How have things gone for you since we spoke last?"

Emma Frost has posed:
Emma Frost would smile, "That sounds lovely. You'd enjoy performing with others. If you do go for an audition, let me know so I can come and watch." She would fold her hands together and give a bow back to Marie-Ange. "And I have been.. Busy with the standard lot of things." By which she meant the chaos of Xavier's and everything that came wtih. "I'm so glad to see you happy dear. You deserve it."

Marie-Ange Colbert has posed:
"Oh, oui! When I worked on The Count of Monte Cristo, I had a most marvelous time connecting with others who enjoy music as much as I do. Working on a movie was a most interesting experience, though I think my.... inclinations make Broadway a more suitable goal. It usually has better music." she admits, giggling softly as she finally puts the violin down, setting it back in it's case and closing the thing. "...and I would be most happy to, certainly! I have worked hard to develop my skills... and this lovely home has made it so much easier, especially once we had the soundproofing installed in my music room."

Emma Frost has posed:
Emma Frost would nod over at Marie-Ange, "Of course. I'm glad that there are other advantages from your girlfriend's setup here that you've learned to enjoy." She would smile over. "And your dedication is definitely paying off. I'm glad that you've discovered a passion and something so enjoyable. And have you thought of going to act in other things should the opportunities arise?"

Marie-Ange Colbert has posed:
"Oui, there are quite a few." she admits, turning just slightly red at the mention. "...but it is especially useful, because then when she is working on her streams, I can practice my music without distracting her..." Marie trails off, pattingg the violin case lightly. "...I have played this on her streams before, but some of the newer instruments I have picked up to expand my horizons..." she laughs softly, "Well. They remind me of my days as a young girl, when I first picked up the violin. Practice makes perfect though, non?"

Emma Frost has posed:
Emma Frost would give a nod, "Yes, all things take practice. And are never quite perfect." not that Emma played fair. Being a telepath in college was going to the school library and draining brains of everyone going about and tagging pertinent bits of information. So much easier than studying. "So how have her streams been? Do you perform directly on camera with her or primarily in the background?"

Marie-Ange Colbert has posed:
"She has had me on camera a few times," Marie replies, nodding slightly. "Usually when we are playing a game together, or when I come to bring her something to eat. Usually when I'm playing my instruments, though, it is from off camera... there is more room to move around that way, n'est-ce pas? I tend to be rather... animated when I play, sometimes."

Emma Frost has posed:
That would have Emma laugh softly. "I can imagine. Do you help with the broadcast or does Mary handle most of it herself?" As far as the camerawork and other equipment went. "I'm sure that the two of you are rather amazing together. I'll have to make sure to set aside time to tune in when you're together."

Marie-Ange Colbert has posed:
"Mary handles it all," Marie replies, beaming proudly as she speaks glowingly of her girlfriend. "She is... much better with computers than I am, much as Jenny had to teach me so many things about using my ceell phone properly." Though, the lessons paid off in time! "If you like, I can text you the next time we stream together... or I believe she has also said people can subscribe and be notified?" she states, sounding unsure. Like she said, she leaves that stuff to Mary!

Emma Frost has posed:
That would have another soft laugh from Emma, "Of course. I'm sure that it's much better to learn that way, from watching. If that's something you want to learn. She sounds like she has quite an effective system. And do let me know, dear. I can't quite keep up with everything on social media, unfortunately. So just send me a text and I'll make sure to block out my schedule for it."

Marie-Ange Colbert has posed:
Marie giggles softly, shaking her head. "I think I will leave those matters to her very capable hands, Madame Frost. While I am sure I could learn it in time, I have my hands full with all the other instruments I wish to learn... and creating music sounds much more enriching to me than messing with..." she makes a little motion with her hands, "...all of that."

Emma Frost has posed:
Emma Frost would smile, "Yes, you divide up duties based upon whom is better suited for things. Unless she would wish it otherwise, there's no need to stress over learning such a thing. Particularly when I'ms ure there's a great many small details that need tended to to make everything come out all right."
