Date of Scene: 08 April 2024
Location: Xavier's School Front Yard
Synopsis: Shooting Drones, than a heart to heart. Bishop runs off due to the feels.
Cast of Characters: Bishop, Patty Sloan

Bishop has posed:
The sound of that buzzing is loud in the front lawn, about 30 drones are buzzing around the lawn. Back and forth, flying in odd patterns. Each of them is painted bright red, with little green spots coating them, looking like badly painted bugs. They are buzzing like bees or some sort of insect back and forth through the early morning sky.

Bishop stands there with his blasters, watching them studying them with the laptop controlling them next to him on the table, the patterns are randomized. He waits for something, than there is a ding of a timer and he starts to fire at them, dual firing his arms moving in odd motions, to make sure he is getting the best shoot. He is mowing them down, the corpse of the drones raining down around him in a hall of laser fire. He is dressed in his old outfit from the future, with his shoulder holsters for his weapons.

Patty Sloan has posed:
Patty is out jogging. She just ran around the lake and now she is making her way around the estate grounds to finish up. As she approaches the front yard, she makes note of the drones flying around. "What in the world?" She asks as she continues moving forward around the edge of the yard. Then she hears the gun going off. Quickly she hits the ground and watches as things unfold.

"Yeesh. Are these things a threat, Bishop!?" She calls out to the man shooting the drones. She is ready to bring them down if they are. "Whats going on?" She asks curiously. I mean why wouldn't she be a little on edge. The last adventure with the X-men was still fresh in her memory.

Bishop has posed:
Bishop spins on his right foot as he starts to fire quicker at the next one as he looks over at Patty with a nod of his head. He leaps into the air, his right hand is moving to his hand with a little chuckle. "No threat, getting ready for more threats." His voice is calls out to her, as he fires at the last few of the drones watching the lasers slam into them, as the last of them fall hitting the ground with a loud bang. So, many drones around them now with a nod of his head with blowing off the barrels of the laser pistols as if he is a gunslinger. "How are you doing Patty?"

Patty Sloan has posed:
Patty watches as Bishop takes down the last of the drones. "I am okay. I was just doing my run around the lake. I figured I'd cool down with a jog around the estate." She comments as she does a push up and gets back to a standing position. "So you are out here shooting at stuff. Isn't the Danger Room a little better suited for that?" She asks as she turns and jogs up to the front of the Mansion. "I mean, less likely for a student to get bonked by falling drone debris right?" She smiles a little bit and stretches.

Bishop has posed:
Bishop looks over at Patty deep in thought as his hand is moves to wave towards the drones. "Maybe your right, but I wanted it live and they would have started to shoot normally. Yeah, I won't do this again." He walks over towards the drones as he starts to pick them up throwing them into a basket now, starting to clean up each of the metal heaps now. "Good, the lake is great you know. How you holding up with all this danger in this world?"

Patty Sloan has posed:
Patty nods slowly. "Oh. So they could have been a bit more trouble. I understand." She quickly moves to help pick up destroyed drone bits. At the question from Bishop she takes a deep breath. "Yeah I like the lake. Its a good place to run and I'm betting it would be a fun place to go boating or fishing." She grins and raises her eyebrows.

Then she winces as she considers the danger she has faced so far. "Things have been crazy. Between finding out about Galactus then when I went down to the central park zoo to clear my mind, Somehow a bunch of animals got left out of their enclosures. I found a group of kids who were on a field trip. They couldn't find their teacher. A pair of Snow Leopards were stalking them. I ended up putting myself between the snow leopards and the students. I told them to run and I dealt with the leopards. Talk about crazy."

Bishop has posed:
Bishop nods slowly as he picks up more metal, dropping it into the bucket with each of them bashing against each other. "Welcome to the world of save the world, it's non stop. Enjoy the quiet runs, the quiet days, the days you can feel alive." His voice is filled with pain, as he picks up more of the drones, dropping them down each of them bashing into each other. "But good work on those leopards, how did that end?" His hand is moves to tap against the holsters, with the guns in them with a chuckle. "You will find one day this no longer bothers you, it's all normal."

Patty Sloan has posed:
"Well, my moms have cats. I had a laser pointer keychain to play with the cats. So I took flight and used the laser pointer on the ground. Turns out big cats are still cats. They started chasing and playing with the laser. So I lead them back into their enclosure. People can still enjoy the snow leopards and they are no longer a threat." She laughs a little. "I can laugh about it now, but it was really freaky staring into the eyes of two rather annoyed big cats." She smiles and picks up some more drone bits.

"I also ran into a homeless kid who happens to be a mutant. I've been meaning to talk to someone here about getting him off the streets and possibly into the school. I helped him get clear of some lions that got out." She flits her wings a little. "That was the most I actually flew like, ever. I still can't believe I actually got both myself and that guy off the ground."

Bishop has posed:
Bishop nods slowly with a nod of his head with a warm smile at Patty. "Good thinking, laser pointer. I would have done something else." His voice is cold at the end as he looks away from her, studying the lake from the distance. "Talk to Jean about her or Rogue they are better at that stuff than me. But, yeah we can't let someone in our family be homeless, you want me to go talk with him with you or bring him here. I think we should just bring him here and ask for forgiveness after you know, it's easier than leaving someone out there homeless." There is a ton of pain to his words, as he refuses to turn from the lake now. "The streets suck."

Patty Sloan has posed:
"I know. I was homeless before I came here." She sighs. "After I blasted my old school bully into a dvd display at a walco, a friend got me out of Pennsylvania by way of a space ship. Seriously. The trip to the dead planet was not my first time in a space worthy vehicle. He dropped me off in New York City. I couldn't go back home so I was a little homeless. I went to try to get a job and that's when I met Kitty and Jubes. It was pretty crazy. I was on the street for a few days but Jubilee came and picked me up. Brought me here and now I'm a college girl." Patty smiles and gathers some more downed drones.

Bishop has posed:
Bishop nods slowly at her as he walks with her picking up the drones with a sigh of pain as he hears her words. "Good you got to a good spot." His eyes are dark with memories biting into his lip to break the hold on the gloomy massive man. "So, tell me about this new kid, what's his name and everything you know about him. We should start with that before we save someone right?"

Patty Sloan has posed:
Patty nods, "Yes absolutely." She takes a deep breath before starting. "His name is Allen-James. He goes by AJ. He is a musician, has been surviving by busking down in the city. His power is some sort of energy shields. He does have a good spirit, When there was an explosion at a motel, We both jumped into action. He used his shields to protect us from falling debris." At the Zoo, He was trying to help get people to safety. Then the lions showed up." Patty shrugs. "I don't know a lot more about him. I met him twice so far. I gave him my phone number to call if he needed anything."

Bishop has posed:
Bishop looks over at Patty with soft little chuckle with his hand is moves to throw the last of the drones into the basket. "Sounds like a good kid. AJ, you said right cool. I'll make sure to let the others know, I'll write an email or something to Rogue and Jean." He takes out his phone, as he starts to work on it, attaching her email from the school roster as well. "I mean if you cool with it of course?"

Patty Sloan has posed:
Patty smiles, "I am fine with it. I am doing what I am supposed to do. Talking to a teacher about him." She giggles. "I mean, finding him might be a challenge if we can't get ahold of him." She takes a deep breath. "Lemme see if I can get ahold of him." She gets out her phone and quickly makes a call.

Bishop has posed:
Bishop nods slowly as he starts to tap his tongue hanging out of his mouth, working on the phone trying to get it just right and than he sends out the email.

To those in Charge,

It is the Mighty Bishop, time traveler, bad-ass, teacher, hero of the people. I wrote to you about one AJ, young miss Patty found this dude and says he is righteous and with a good heart and noble of action. But, sadly like many in our world he is homeless and busking for his food and for the cardboard he is slumbering inside of. I purpose that we find him and give him a home if he is willing, that is our next quest of being the noble ones with pure hearts for bringing in a new student. Anyone object to this quest?

Signed,

The Squire,

Bishop

"I hope that gets their attention." With that he walks over to a tree to sink down into it, resting his head on his knee. His eyes closed as he thinks on dark brooding thoughts, with a sigh.

Patty Sloan has posed:
Patty quietly steps over to the tree and leans against it. "I hope we can get him up here soon. No one deserves to be on the street." She comments as she flops down on the ground. "So you're from the future?" She asks curiously. "Sorry I am just curious about it. I'm not going to ask about my future. I like to think I make my own future." She laughs a little. "Right now my goal is to get into shape and train until I'm able to try to join SHIELD."

Bishop has posed:
Bishop looks at her with his head resting on his knee with a nod of his head. "Yeah from the future, born in 2090." His voice is cold, thinking on it for a long time, his dreads moving back and forth with each bump of his knee. "It's not good time." He takes off his glasses for the first time in a long time, to show off the M burned on to his face with a frown. "We are forced into camps or hunted down and killed. It's not pleasant, I'm here to stop it and do whatever it takes to end that."

Patty Sloan has posed:
"Oh goodness." Patty winces as she sees the M burned on his face. "I am so sorry." She comments as she considers the whole thing. "Yeah we can't let that sort of thing happen. We can change things." She frowns. "I just... My first mission with the X-men, I accidentally wound up involved in. Rogue was on look out for the big sentinels. None of those showed up but there were a lot of these little sentinel spider drones that were after information. They attacked us. My abilities worked on them thankfully so I wasn't completely there on a joy ride or something."

Bishop has posed:
Bishop slides his glasses back over his face as he looks at the lake, again with his head resting on his knee. "Yeah we will stop it, no matter what." He stands now, walking towards the water, but stopping to speak slowly before he leaves. "Sounds like your doing good kid, keep it up and you are bad ass in training it seems. See ya around." With that he is gone, lost in his thoughts.
