Location: The Centinel Hotel - Mutant Town
Synopsis: Billy is saved by Divine intervention.
Cast of Characters: Billy Batson, Divine

Billy Batson has posed:
Billy Batson is in Mutant Town. He's looking for some Mutant on the Street content. He's thinking of some warm dark eyes that are pretty high off the ground. He was very glad he didn't get into a fight with Divine. He remembers when he nearly threw down with Crush. Apparently he grew up since then, Then a woman across the street catches his eye: Marisa del Sol, Mutant activist, vocal and looks like she's made of smoky glass.

She catches his eye because a man in battle armor with a huge raygun has emerged from a car and threatens her, "Blah blah blah blah Humanity sends their regards!"

Billy has a shorter speech.

"Shazam!!"

A blur or red and white streaks across the street. Marisa will live as Shazam blocks the shot.

Which is electrical energy. There is a flash of light and burst of thunder for the second time on that street. And Billy Batson lies unconscious on the street.

To a normal human it looks like Billy came out of nowhere and took the shot.

But someone here is far from normal, or human.

Divine has posed:
Divine had been nearby, checking out different businesses and collecting job applications. She'd got an ice cream and sat down on a bench to take a break. While eating the chocolate confection, the Kyrtonian hybrid closed her eyes and focused her super hearing. She's been practicing on using it various distances. Today she's trying to keep it to distance within a mile. She hears the guy making a speech but it takes her too long to realize what he's about. She isn't used to the assholes pontificating before making their move. Not in english anyway.

It takes but seconds for her to arrive on scene and it's just in time to see Shazam falling. Snarling, beautiful face scrunched into a rictus of anger, Divine grabs the man with the gun and is about to beat him to death with the it when she pauses and turns. Wait.. Shazam is now.. not Shazam??? She has questions. So many questions.

But first.. The dark haired women turns back and stares at the man in battle armor. He'd pulled out a wicked looking knife and tried to stab her. When the metal just bends, pale white skin unmarked he screams in rage "Freak!" and tries to run away. Divine glances back at the fallen figure, looks at the mutant and then the fleeing jerk and scowls. She's gone and in a moment the asshole lies at the mutant woman's feet, unconscious but alive. It's his lucky day.

"Here. Take these." Divine hands the woman the ray gun, and moves to scoop up the person in Shazam's place. She quickly flies them to a nearby rooftop and gently rests the young man on a patio bed/chair/thing. Aftering waiting an entire two minutes and five seconds, she reaches out a finger and pokes him in the shoulder.

Billy Batson has posed:
Billy Batson moans and stirs. He knew electricity could transform him. A lot of electricity. Electro did it. Zeus did it. The waterspouts did it and Weather Wizard. But this was different. Electricity from a technological source. It hurt, left him foggy. He opens his eyes and stares into warm dark ones. "Divine? ... I uh, have a bottle of water in my backpack... where? What? Did I save the lady?! Is she all right?"

Divine has posed:
He knows her name?? Divine considers the situation as she rummages in the backpack and finds the bottle of water. She offers it to the man with a puzzled expression. "You.. are you Shazam?" She knows heroes often have a secret identity but this guy looks very different. He's young. So young. She looks much older than him now which Divine finds funny since she is actually only about four. "Magic?" She asks and then "What is your name?" Realizing he asked a question, DIvine nods. "Yes. She's fine."

She would be so very confused if she knew he thought her eyes were warm. They aren't hostile at least. She'd kinda liked that Shazam guy. He introduced her to a good new food. He was also rather handsome. This kid is just.. Divine searches her mind for a word. Adorable. Yes. Cute. But not puppy cute. Attractive cute. Now she's just confusing herself more. Shaking her head, she settles next to the chaise lounge and it's occupant. "Are you hurt?"

Billy Batson has posed:
Billy Batson says, "Oh, right, we haven't met... formally..." He remembers telling Mary, long ago, that knowing names was one of his superpowers. Except he has no powers as Billy.

He fesses up, "Yes, it's magic. I turn into Shazam. This is the real me, unremarkavble Billy Batson. Thank you for saving the lady and me." He tries to open the bottle, misses with his hand, tries again and misses. He starts sliding to the side.

Divine has posed:
Divine frowns and just looks at Billy for awhile. She takes the water and then catches Billy. She lifts him up and settles herself on the lounge, sparing a second to be glad she picked a sturdy one and then settles Billy atop her. She opens the water and wraps her arms around him, pressing her chest to his back and supporting him while she helps him drink. "You aren't unremarkable. You have a very remarkable ability. You're also nice looking." She's aware enough of things to suspect he'd take being called adorably cute the wrong way, maybe. "That stupid jerkhole hurt you. I should have killed him." Divine scowls into Billy's hair before resting her chin atop his head.

The woman has Emma and adores her but she currently hasn't anyone else in her life. Shazam was interesting and if Billy is Shazam then he is interesting. Maybe.. well. He probably won't want to be friends once he gets to know her a little. That is usually what happens. For a time at least things will be.. okay. Someone to talk to and eat with maybe. "Do you need more water?"

Billy Batson has posed:
Billy Batson goes a little cross-eyed at Divine wrapping herself around him and supporting him. He manages to take the water bottle finally, then head tilts and he plants a peck on her cheek.

"Thank you for everything. Heh. I'm really glad I was nice to you when I was Shazam. I thought we were going to have a big brawl. This is much better. I don't think I could even muster up lightning for a change. You don't seem so dangerous now. Warm even... You have very warm eyes... like coffee." He leans back again on her shoulder. Talking seems hard.

Divine has posed:
So startled by that kiss, Divine just freezes in place for a moment. Thirty seconds that seem like an enternity to the woman as she considers the kiss and how it felt, savors her body's reaction. She's so busy with that, that is takes her another thirty seconds to try to come up with a response to Billy's words. "uh." She utters intelligently. Or not. Warm eyes?? What?.

"I think you hit your head when you fell." Not dangerous!? She is so offended. She should leave. Only, well, he is warm. Kinda scrawny maybe but warm and it feels good to be in close contact with someone again after being on her own for so long. Ugh. Really she doesn't want to leave. What is this. "I am dangerous. I'm the most dangerous person you'll ever know." Divine growls as she carefully adjusts Billy so he'll be more comfortable. Her ample chest makes for a good pillow.

Billy Batson has posed:
Billy Batson smiles, turning away. the most dangerous person he'll ever know is making him comfortable. He just says, "You'd like thunderbolt I feel. I'm sorry if I was being so forward when I kissed you. It... you were close and I wanted to show my gratitude. I'm glad you're not being dangerous right now. I appreciate it. Really!" Looks back at her and nods, very serious. Tries to make himself look older.

Divine has posed:
Divine eyes Billy. "Who is Thunderbolt?" Then a brow raises as he tries to make himself look older. "What are you doing with your face?" She doesn't quite grasp what he's doing there. "It's okay. It was nice. I liked it." She perks up. "There is a saying I like a lot. Fortune favors the bold." It has a slightly different meaning to her than is meant since she is very often of the mindset that you do what you want when you have the power to do so. That is an improvement over always doing what you want at least.

"I don't have any people to be nice too aside from Emma. She is always there for me but once other people get to know me they usually leave. Or I do when I get tired of them trying to tell me what to do." Divine shrugs. "This is okay for now." She doesn't let any of the lonliness she feels seep into her voice, keeping it calm and matter of factly sounding. "You aren't one of the bad guys. I shouldn't fight you." She can't help but add. "Even if it might be fun." It wouldn't do to let him think she's soft. She's never soft!

Billy Batson has posed:
Billy Batson nods. "Thunderbolt is by sister. She's tough like you. I don't want to tell you what to do but... could you maybe fly me back to the park where we met? I can go the rest of the way home from there. I'm feeling much better." But his head slumps back again.

"Nice..."

Divine has posed:
Divine rolls her eyes. Yes, he's so much better. She can hear his heartbeat, his breathing, gauge the strength of his muscles as he tries to move. "I will take you someplace safe so that you can rest and when you *actually* feel better then I will either take you home or let you go on your own." She decides before scooping Billy up in bridal carry and flying towards home. She has a large very comfortable couch and an even larger, more comfortable bed. She'll even go pick up those gyro things while he's resting. It won't take long! "Just hush up and sleep. You'll be safe. I'll get dinner. Or late lunch." Divine says as she lands with a solid sounding thump on her balcony. She'll place Billy on her couch and tuck a blanket around him before heading to that park and the gyro seller. Her evening just got much more interesting.
