Synopsis: Princess Diana and Doctor Doom perform diplomatic outreach over dinner at Castle Doom. +20 Diplomatic Victory Points.
Cast of Characters: Victor Von Doom, Diana Prince

Victor Von Doom has posed:
In recent history an invitation was imparted from Latveria's very own Doctor Victor Von Doom to the Themysciran ambassador known as Diana Prince or Wonder Woman. A date and time of expected arrival was included. Upon confirmation of receipt and acceptance of the invitation; the dinner between sovereign and royal-dignitary was set.

On the appoint day the Wonder Woman and her jet arrival to Latveria and given clearance to journey across the Latveria border. Picturesque landscapes can be found below and to every side. Verdant fields and forests, rugged mountaintops, gradually curving and curling streams gentle forge their paths throughout the lands, and quaint farming settlements and villages can be seen as the Amazon flies overhead.

Her landing at an appointed zone finds an welcoming committee of Servo-Guards, Latverian officials, and the fanfare to accompany the visitation of an honored guest of none other than the Benevolent King of Latveria. Doctor Doom himself is there to welcome the arrival of Princess Diana. Together the pair travel through the streets of Doomstadt. The people cheer and celebrate, not only the presence of Princess Diana, but perhaps even more so for the passage of Doom himself.

Their journey culminates in their arrival at Castle Doom, with a guest chamber set aside for Princess Diana in the event that she has any needs prior to the agreed upon dinner.

When the pair do finally convene at Doom's Dining Table, the King of Latveria stands before his chair as he lifts a goblet in salute to his guest. The fire in the hearth burns, providing warmth and atmosphere both. The table that could readily seat four along either side of its length has been laden with an assortment of savory foods, freshly picked produce that is both raw and cooked, along with fresh breads and more. It is a veritable feast of not only the palate, but for the eyes as well. As technologically advanced as Latverian is reputed to be, the dining chamber itself provides the distinct feel of more rustic and archaic times with the stone walls and decor appear more akin to what may have been found many centuries past.

The goblet is held aloft and Doctor Doom's voice issues to the other end of the table and in acknowledgment of his guest. His voice is rich and powerful, carrying with it the finely tuned accent of Latverian nobility, "Princess Diana, it is the pleasure of Latveria and its king, Doctor Victor Von Doom, that you have joined us. As a guest of Doom, may I present you with the choice of informal conversation? Or other more official matters pertaining to State and current events?"

Diana Prince has posed:
Wonder Woman's plane... it is world renown at this point of her public hero life. Once upon a time she'd employed a man-made jet, created by none other than Howard Stark himself. That jet had been capable of going invisible, using thousands of tiny cameras across its surface to reflect and bend light. The single seater jet had been a boon to Diana's ability to travel the globe, and provide secretive work as Wonder Woman, back in the days when Diana hid her identity. Those days were gone, and with it the old man-made jet had been retired almost two decades ago. Diana had replaced it with a new craft capable of being anywhere on the planet in under an hour's flight time. The new jet was created via the use of an alien technology that had been gifted to Diana when she'd rescued the Princess of an alien culture, a young woman who'd fled to Earth to escape assassins assigned to her murder. Wonder Woman had prevented that murder, and as a gift, the 'Morphing Disc' had been bestowed upon her.

Needless to say the new jet was quite a big step up. Able to take on any form that Diana could imagine, within a restriction of size alone, she generally only kept it in the form of a dagger-like passenger vehicle. Artistic and colored like that of the clouds itself, the jet had arrived in Latveria entirely visible to the naked eyes. It had landed to the great fanfare, and within it Princess Diana had disembarked with a small entourage of Amazon warriors in her wake.

Diana had left most of her Amazon contingent at the jet, and elected to travel with Doom with only two of her guards coming with her. She'd been quite pleased by the display of the festivities setup for the parade through Latveria, and offered sincere smiles, energetic waves and a happy persona to those who had seemed to be so elated for the show.

By the time they arrived at the dinner, Diana had gotten a great insight in to the city itself, having seen it before... but in a much different light, she was pleased at the state of what she had seen thus far today. The dinner table was quite a sight to behold, as well, and with a small smile, Diana had sat herself at her designated seat. She'd spent a small amount of time getting ready for the dinner, dressed now in a blue garment of draping fabrics, her hair done up in a series of tied-back braids behind the small of her neck, and a modest amount of dusky-hued makeup upon her face.

At Doom's words, Diana looked across the table to him, and offered a warm expression toward the theatrical King of Latveria. "Well, I should say You have impressed quite well thus far." Diana says back to him, her own naturally husky voice laced with the Themysciran accent she's become known for.

"I would certainly like to hear a bit about the state of life here in your home, if you would be up for sharing such a thing." She states softly.

Victor Von Doom has posed:
An opportunity to speak on the subject of Latveria, which was ultimately speaking of the achievements of Doom himself? So no more. Doctor Doom's attire has been formalized a good deal more this evening. It is an important dinner after all. He isn't dining with rabble or some visiting official from a neighboring country. It is a Princess of Themyscira that he entertains as his guest. The usual tunic has been replaced by a more stately uniform, an assortment of medals and ribbons affixed to his chest. He even wears trousers for a change, with a silver sash cross over his torso. The cowl and cloak that is so often an essential element of the man's appearance is in place, though tonight's cloak has been trimmed with silver banding and golden threading. No doubt the layer of titanium power armor that is synonymous with the Latverian monarch is worn beneath his attire, he has at least taken great strides to look presentable for the dinner. The prospect of dinner and entertaining has likewise resulted in his mask featuring a widened opening for his mouth, which would permit his dining with relative ease. It allows the stern set of his mouth, small smirks, tentative smiles, and many more potential expressions to be plainly visible.

When Doom finally seats himself, his goblet is lifted in acknowledgement of Diana, "To brighter futures, Princess". Following the toast and a brief sip from his goblet, Doom carries on with the request topic. Latveria. Himself.

"Poverty has been abolished. Disease and famine eradicated. Crime has been eliminated. Healthcare is universal. The Latverian Franc's value is at its strongest. The people of Doom are healthy, fit, happy, and prosperous. Which brings the greatest of joy to my heart, to know that they are cared for and protected from all threats - both within and beyond," Doom explains at length, truly illustrating the formidable control of the man's lungs. He pauses for only a moment and it seems as though it could have scarcely been long enough for a breath before he continues on, "Latveria has been without natural disasters since my return. Corruption within local officials has been entirely swept away. All Latverian citizens - all - are afforded the same rights and privileges under Doom. Beneath the Crown of Doom, the differences between one Latverian citizen to the next are irrelevant. My people are united by shared purpose, no matter the circumstances of their genetic code and birth."

Again Doom sips from his goblet and, upon setting it down again, his eyes move to fix firmly upon Diana before he fields her question back toward her, "How fare the people of Themyscira, princess?"

Diana Prince has posed:
Diana's eyes fall upon the drink that was set before her place setting, as the Princess reaches out for it with one hand, while her other reaches for a utensil for the meal ahead. Her eyes dart back up to the King across from her, as she listens to his response to her question. She partakes in a drink from her glass, quietly taking in the words that Doom provides on the state of his people. When she lowers her glass again, it is gently sat back down where she'd gathered it up from.

"The ability to provide for your people, a place of security, safety, and comfort.... That is no small task in the world that we live in, Yough Highness." Diana tells the man. "It is something to be proud of, though I would imagine it will lead to a boost in imigration, as people hear how wonderful life within Latverian borders is." She states softly, showing a light smile before his question resonates within her mind.

She takes in a light breath, as she ponders her response. "Themyscira has gone through a lot of changes in the past few years. Some of it has resulted in a number of heated discussions within my people's senate. But, yet still, most of it has yielded positive change. We have accepted visitors for the first time, both female and male. Of course the latter comes with quite a lot of concern from many of the more staunch members of our society to maintain such traditions of only permitting one gender to come to our shores... and though this has not fully changed, and may never, I am pleased to see that what little steps we've taken have had positive results. The Queen has a lot on her plate, so to speak, when it comes to those pushing for change, and those pulling back to roots."

The Princess shows another soft expression of warmth across the table toward Doom. "I am sure you know that no change comes easily, however."

She spares a look around their immediate area, before she returns her eyes across the space to his own behind his mask. "I am impressed, however. I knew your countryside was quite beautiful, but it seems the people are truly happy. What lies ahead for Latveria?" Diana then asks back of him, as her eyes momentarily drop down to her plate again.

Victor Von Doom has posed:
While Diana speaks, Doom listens. He does not busy himself with food or drink, but instead he feasts upon the words spoken by his guest. He offers a solemn nod of his head, which results in an equally solemn incline and lowering of his mask. "The people love me for what I have brought to them. Stability, peace, prosperity. They have found solace in being guided by Doom," the sovereign answers.

He does go quiet once again to attentively listen to the Themysciran princess speak of her own lands, the people on it, the efforts at change and the reluctance to engage with it. All matters which Doom is perfectly capable of understanding and had very likely encountered himself at one point in time or another. At least before his rule had been achieved through the people's revolution and Doom's taking Latveria for himself. And his people, of course.

The talk of change and the hardships that often accompany is earns an understanding nod. One that is borne from shared experience. "Change is often a contentious thing. Without a strange hand to see change transpire, it can often spiral toward violence and unrest. It is why those that wish to seek Latverian citizen, must accept the customs of our lands first and foremost. The people of Doom are not expected to change for those who seek a better life. The people of Latveria have found their better life under Doom; those who seek to join them, must adapt to them," the so-called dictator answers in turn.

The compliments paid to Latveria results in a glance around the chamber by Doom and upon his gaze returning to Diana, the smile that he wears is evident. It is a warm, charming thing if there ever was one. "We are happy here," Doom answers, lumping himself in with every other Latverian who has benefited from the guidance and leadership of Doctor Doom. "What lies ahead?" the smile persists. No, it grows. "Greatness."

Diana Prince has posed:
One element of Diana's interest in attending this dining experience, was to get a chance to understand the Latverian leader a little better. He was an enigmatic figure, a bombastic presence when around, but one of no small amount of mystery when not. She was curious by this element. The change he was pushing for Latveria was ambitious to say the least, and she was curious how it would fair in the future.

His summation of how he believes it will fair, has Diana showing a growing smile. She dips her chin in a pair of small nods, before she quietly clears her throat. "I do hope that is the case, too. The world needs model societies to point to as guiding beacons of hope for what could be, if the right focus is taken on the right directions."

Another sip of her glass is enjoyed, before it is sat down again. Diana draws in a light breath, before she tilts her head very slightly across toward him. "I am curious, however, if you originally came from here, or if you found yourself here through other means? You seem like a world traveled man, as you hold yourself with a confidence that is rarely achieved through any other means beyond simply experience. What I see here is a man who is enacting the most ideal elements of which many countries seem unable to achieve. that would suggest to me that you have personally been to many places, and seen the follies that hold other places back from achieving such lofty aspirations of peace, and prosperity."

Victor Von Doom has posed:
A polite nod is passed along the length of the table, from Doctor Doom to Princess Diana. It is in acceptance of the Wonder Woman's hopes, though Doom does offer a mild correction, while still maintaining the same stoic warmth as before, "There is no need for hope, princess. Doom has declared it, so it will be". He again wraps himself in silence, watching and listening while Diana speaks of the ideal of Latveria acting as a model for the rest of the world. This seems to cause Doom to sit forward ever so slightly, nodding once, firmly, "You understand precisely then. Many would disparage the name of Doom in a bid to understate the achievements that been forged. 'dictator', 'tyrant', and more. All to appease their wounded pride."

Again he falls silent and settles himself back. Once more his goblet is drawn to mask and a simple, brief sip is claimed. He listens with obvious attention, not only due to politeness or formality, but genuine interest in Diana's words. For all of his alleged ego, Doctor Doom does at least seem to hold the words and thoughts of those equal - or relatively equal - in station with some degree of regard and seriousness.

The curiosity is met by a solemn nod, one that Victor does not seem bothered in answer. Even if it may not contain the full length and breadth of an entire lifetime's tale, "Doom was born into these lands," he says with a rich, powerful voice as a lone hand rises. The titanium gauntlet that covers it gestures with a relaxed hand toward the west, likely well beyond Doomstadt itself, "and my people were persecuted at every turn. My origins were humble, but even from an early age it was apparent that the achievements of Doom would be beyond the capability of many. Everyone, really". Once again his hand lowers, coming to rest his palm upon the tabletop near himself as he continues on with his answer, "There did come a point in my life that I traveled abroad, studied and learned all that could be gathered to myself. It wasn't the failings of others that motivated my leadership of Latveria; it is simply an acute understanding of right from wrong that has acting as my guiding principles. While some may think the tactics and methods of Doom are iron fisted? We may look to my people and see their love of life to know that such slanderous words are not based in any sort of reality."

A shift upon his his high-backed chair results in Doom's hand moving to collect his goblet, while his gaze and mask settle firmly upon Diana still, "Having been witness to it yourself, princess, the question that must be asked is how can Doctor Victor Von Doom be of assistance in your own endeavors? You face many challenges and it is the hope of Doom that we may work together, toward a brighter, more stable future."

Diana Prince has posed:
At the response that Doom provides her, Diana simply raises her chin up and nods back a single time here and there. She does take another sip of her drink before she hears his question in return sent to her. A small smile graces her red hued lips for a moment, before she considers it for a handful of seconds. "To be perfectly honest, Your Highness, it is good that you provide the world with a prosperous society not locked behind a wall that makes it... wholely invisible to the rest of the world." She replies, taking a second before continuing. "Consider my own home land. It is quite literally hidden behind a barrier, a barrier that has allowed it to persist for as long as it has, untouched by the rest of the mortal world. But it is still a barrier that also prevents Themyscira from being a role model to the world." She takes a soft breath, before she shakes her head from side to side. "You could say the same of Wakanda, and Atlantis as well. Genosha is a rising star, but Genosha has a troubled past that still yields it a lot to live up to. Latveria is... I would say it holds a fresh face for the rest of the world to view, and that alone is a good thing."

A quick smirk is shown at her own words, before she shakes her head. "Really, what I am angling at here, is that you being a pillar of accomplishment... that is a bigger help than you might realize." She finally says, showing him another smile across the table.

"Beyond that, I would say that you are welcome to join us at the Atlantic Starport, and become a voice for the future of mankind out in to the stars. If such a thing would interest you, that is."

Her eyes dart back up to look over toward his own, the mask a moderate concern to Diana, but she's worked with a number of people who've worn similar garments, and there are always reasons for such things. Sometimes good ones, sometimes not.

Victor Von Doom has posed:
"Latveria guards and protects its borders quite jealously. They are not simply open and free to cross at the leisure of any who wish to tread over them. As any other nation, we have rules and expectations when it comes to immigration or visitation," Doom answers, keeping things honest and sincere. Or at least his version of the two things. "We do not hide behind barriers though. You are correct in that. There are no illusions or impenetrable mists or other feats performed to simply hide ourselves away. Latveria is proud of its achievements and Doom does not hide."

The meal laid out before them finally claims a portion of Victor's attention. A sliver of seasoned venison is placed upon a fork. He consumes it without interruption, nor turning his attention from his guest. He chews slowly, purposefully, and thoughtfully. By the time he's swallowed that morsel down, Doom's voice rises up in answer of Diana's further observations and stated purpose, "You wish to tether your efforts in the Atlantic to the achievements of Doom," the Latverian monarch answers. It's obvious that the man is considering it as his gaze drifts toward the center of the table and the steaming roast that occupies the space.

Again his gaze lifts and rests upon Diana, considering the Amazon and the multiple braids in her hair. His moment of introspection soon gives way to additional thoughts given over to the voice of Doctor Victor Von Doom, "There is the matter of concern that the starport has yet to be reclaimed. While Doom can appreciate and celebrate your hopefulness? We must be pragmatic about our steps". Doom pauses for a moment and seems to consider Diana at length. He studies her as openly as she studies him. He does not harbor any reservations in meeting her inspection, with his own. After a moment of silence, Victor adds for the sake of placing the metaphorical cards on the table, "When the United Nations was attacked? Doom was the herald of salvation for a number of foreign dignitaries. We may wish to offer them a reminder of this. They could be in the captivity of the group known as HYDRA right now, if it were not for Doom's interference. A great risk that a king took to ensure their safety. A fact that may be of value when it comes to negotiating the return of the starport.."

Diana Prince has posed:
While Doom spoke, Diana was enjoying a few bites of the food from her plate, using her silver fork with a graceful movement from plate to lips and back again. She raised her eyes back up, and over to him, when he brought up those points. They earned a single nod of understanding from the Princess, "Quite likely..." She quietly replies, as she takes a moment to enjoy a light breath, signifying the weight of the situation on her shoulders. "I believe we were played, so to speak." She fires back. "I am not exactly sure by who, and I think it includes the nations involved in the takeover. I believe it is a jumbled mess of misunderstanding, but I believe diplomacy can sort it out. I spoke with a ... confidence in that, when I referenced the Starport as though my people were still involved directly with its current state. We did yield control to the United Nations, but ... I believe the misunderstandings can be worked through, and that the true nature of how complicated the situation is for the UN, will eventually present itself. I believe we will return to our positions within its administration. I cannot say exactly how long that will take... of course, but I have faith it will be soon enough. My goal here yet remains the same... to help Earth push in to the stars, and that site yet still remains technically a part of Atlantis authority. The UN did what they felt they had to in the moment, but I think the path is yet fully traveled."

Victor Von Doom has posed:
"We are in agreement," Doom answers on the subject of the path having yet been fully traveled. He shifts slowly so that he may lean forward, perhaps adding additional weight and overall gravitas to his words, "Recently Queen Polaris of Genosha was my guest. If you seek the advice of Doom? Do consider meeting with her personally. It is my perception that she has developed a seed of doubt regarding the resolve of your people in regard to the Atlantic facility. Obviously I say this not to 'stir the pot' as the idiom goes, but to ensure the maximum cooperation among our various peoples."

Doom considers the meal before him and, it seems, decides that Diana is a far more interesting matter than simple food. He focuses upon her and continues on with a subdued nod of his head as he directs the conversation elsewhere. Somewhere decidedly more lunar, "Latveria would seek a presence with your facility on the moon, as well. For matters of scientific research, of course. If it requires expansion? Doom will see it done. In record time, too". The Latverian monarch seems entirely certain of that declaration.

Then comes the discussion of something a little more sensitive. Doom's mask shifts away as he considers the next topic up for discussion. When his gaze returns, it comes to rest heavily upon Diana as the man with the Latverian accent speaks, "There was an incident recently. A Doombot's programming was tampered with and it, in short," Doom seems to pause for a moment, his mouth set into a grim line for that fleeting moment, before he continues speaking, "stole a museum". For a long moment Doom allows those words to hang in the air between the two royals. When he does speak, it's with some steps toward reassurance provided, "We are in the midst of attempting to locate the property and see it returned to the United States. It is important to inform you of this, so that you recognize that at present - and considering Doom stood in defiance of their armada - the West may be fuming over their lessons learned."

Diana Prince has posed:
Diana's eyes were down upon her dinner plate, raising a morsil of food up with her fork held in a gentle grasp between thumb and forefinger. She lowers the fork, and her eyes raise up to regard Doom when he speaks of the stolen museum. She has to take a moment to enjoy another sip of her drink, though a little crease forms between her dark eyebrows, hinting at the confusion of such a statement, especially one made so non-chalantly.

After the glass is returned to its place, Diana softly clears her throat again. "Which museum?" She has to ask, because well... that is important, right? She softly shakes her head before he can answer that though. "I mean, to say, that is rather a large mistake. I hope no one was injured in it.."

It'd almost be humorous if it weren't for the underlying serious nature of the very concept itself.

"There is a lot to decide with the Atlantic Starport in the coming weeks, and months. But the facility itself isn't going anywhere, nor is the goal of pushing toward more colonies throughout our solar system. We have to become a multi-planet society, if we are going to continue to persist as a species, and as a growing power within galactic affairs. We are on the map now, so to speak, with governments of worlds far beyond our solar system's borders. It is time we prepare for politics that far reach beyond what we are used to, and the governments of Earth have to come to realize it is time to mature beyond our previous petty arguments. I believe what is happening at the Atlantic Starport is a milestone toward that, or at least will become one in the near future... Especially with help, from such accomplished leaders as yourself."

She affords him a soft smile, wishing to convey a measure of respect for the man who's hosting her within his home tonight.

Victor Von Doom has posed:
Where most might blow out a breath from bulging cheeks as they encroach upon a potentially sensitive or uncomfortable discussion, Doom does not. The Benevolent Monarch of Latveria simply offers a firm nod toward Diana and the reasonable question which she presents. "The machine targeted the National Museum of Immigration. A statement against the United States of America, it would seem. It vowed the safe return of the museum when it determined the United States had learned its lesson in being complicit with the Atlantic starport's takeover". As nonchalantly as Doom speaks on the matter; he just as nonchalantly helps himself to a drink from his goblet. It thumps back to the tabletop and Doom concludes, "As mentioned though, we are taking strides to locate and rectify the matter."

There is a sudden adamantium firmness to his voice however, "Doom will not apologize for the error, for I did nothing wrong personally. Let us not forget that their armada fired upon Doctor Doom over the Atlantic. Their actions were an act of war. An act of war that Doom, nor Latveria, has yet answered. The mercy of Doom has its limits, however."

Another slice of venison is consumed, but it seems that still Doom prefers conversation with his guest to taking time to enjoy his meal. He considers Diana at length while she speaks and by the end of her words, the chin of Doom's mask inclines slightly, "There are many futures ahead of us, Princess Diana. They all result in death, destruction, and the obliteration of civilization on Earth. All except one - when the world embraces and follows Doom."

Diana Prince has posed:
As Doom responds, Diana bounces her eyes from her dinner plate, back up to him, and down again, simply dutifully listening while enjoying the rather amazing meal created for the Amazon's mere presence. she's quiet throughout what he says, but up to the last little bit, which garners a tilt of the Princess' head. She stares across the table toward the monarch, wondering if she'd lost something there in translation. She generally didn't though, and after a second, she has to smile softly through it.

It takes a second, but Diana does just gently nod her head. "Death is a part of life. Two sides of the same coin. I may have benefitted from a longer life span then most, but even I will experience death some day. I think what is most important here is that we work with the people of our home world, to push toward non-vilent reactions to the problems that we face. We cannot force anyone to follow us, we have to inspire them to choose to. If we even dare attempt to force it, then we will only lead the world toward endless misery and death that comes far sooner than it should."

She draws in a breath, her shoulders rising gently as she does so, her back ever-straight in the chair she occupies, her posture a testiment to her etiquette training.

"It has only been eighty years since the world suffered its last world war. That may seem like a long time to some, but when you see from the vantage point that I see from, you get a different viewpoint. One that shows we are only a stone's throw from where we were then. We have to push for ideas, choices, and actions, that push us even further ahead, and not ones that make us fall back all the way to where we were then."

She reaches for her drinking glass once more, pausing before lifting it. "This is my hope when working diplomatically with the situation at the Starport. It is time for the world's governments to find new ways to solve our worldly issues..."

Victor Von Doom has posed:
"As was told to Queen Polaris, Doom shall repeat now. Though given your place throughout history? No doubt the importance of my words will carry even greater weight. In the past there were moments where the future could have been changed if only those in power had taken a stand and not simply utilized hope as a strategy. Hoping a problem goes away does not make it go away," Doom explains at length. He lifts an armored hand and taps a single titanium clad fingertip to the edge of the table nearest to himself before he finishes his remarks, "it is upon the leaders of today to make that stand. If they are brazen enough to attack the starport? What next? Genosha? What next? Wakanda, Latveria? If there are none willing to put their foot down and remove the silk from their gauntlet? Then history will once again repeat itself."

Finally Doom's hand moves forward. The edge of his planet is given a tiny scoot forward, likely signaling his own completion of the meal. He does not stand or otherwise signal that his guest would be expected to suddenly start hustling through her own meal. Instead he carries on with their conversation still, seemingly enjoying a bit of social involvement and the political game afoot, "By all means, press diplomatic advantages and avenues. If you ask it of me? Doom will be prepared to provide whatever leverage necessary to see our shared goal achieved."

Diana Prince has posed:
Even as Doom makes it clear that he has had enough food for the time being, Diana still leisurely forks at the various options on her plate, and continues to deposit little bites here and there throughout his response in to her mouth with graceful motions of fork and wrist. Another drinking sip from her glass leads to her settling the goblet back down upon the table. She shows him a smile then, genuine and sincere, warm and accentuating her naturally lovely facial features.

"It is good to have allies." She softly says across the table to him.

Another light breath is taken, as Diana once more allows her curious gaze to go about the contents of the room around them. "Well, then, if you'd be interested, I would enjoy more of a tour of your home. I am curious to learn more of Latveria, and of its people. The faces I saw on the way here, they seemed lively, happy and excited. That kind of energy is infectious. When I head back home, I would very much like to take a better vision of this place with me."

Victor Von Doom has posed:
"Alliances are helpful, but friendships are often longer lasting," Doctor Doom answers with a smile visible from beneath his mask. While Diana continues to enjoy her meal, Doom watches on with thoughtful consideration. The request for a greater, more expansive tour of Latveria results in a gesture from Doctor Doom, indicating the chamber that they presently and undoubtedly everything beyond it, "You are the guest of Doom. If you wish to see more of the home and lands of Doom? It would be my pleasure to continue acting as your host for a more extended stay. How do you feel about horseback riding? The countryside is an exceptionally beautiful land and from horseback, you may very well come to a greater understanding of why there is so much pride held by the people of Latveria. When one strips Latveria of the traitors, despots, and wicked kings? It may flourish. It has."

Doctor Doom lifts his goblet once again, but he does not drink immediately. Instead he continues on with the discussion and topic of a broader experience of Latveria, "Shall we condense these adventures into a single day? Or would you prefer to enjoy the hospitality of Doom for a greater duration, princess?"
