The Sun, the Moon, and the Infernal
Date of Scene: 06 October 2020
Location: New York City - Karolina's Apartment Rooftop
Synopsis: Karolina and Nico summon a local demon. True forms are shown off, and Nico uses blood magic to make a sandwich.
Cast of Characters: Karolina Dean, Nico Minoru, Levian

Karolina Dean has posed:
It's late afternoon, early evening. The sun is burning down the sky, hues of red and orange preparing the horizon for the coming of Autumn. Crisp air but still warm in places. Karolina stands on the roof of her apartment, pacing back and forth next to her little patio table. A couple of stones are keeping a piece of parchment safe from both breeze and rolling itself back up. A handful of items are on the table as well. Bits of wood, charcoal, and a firepit sits nearby, away from the plants.

"Come on, Nico..." she says softly, staring at her phone. She'd sent a text to her old friend, knowing she was in town, and wanting to see her and get her gauge on this. Not that a text to her that says 'Need help. Summoning a demon. Will make noodles. Come by asap.' is exactly anything less than completely fucking cryptic. But that's what she sent, and now she's waiting, pacing on her roof. Not exactly the best way to rekindle a friendship, with fire and brimstone. But not the worst way, either, really. So there she is, bathing in the light of the fading sun, clad in some snug shorts, bare feet, and a tank top that just -screams- 'Rainbow Dash', with powder blue cloth, a swoosh of rainbow, and little pegasus wings stenciled on the back.

Nico Minoru has posed:
It was true she was in town, the young girl had decided that when you really have no better place to be, you might as well stay where you are. Besides, she had found an old friend and to be honest it was good to actually be around someone who understood her; well at least said she did. Come over for a summoning. Nico did not really get an explaination as to why her friend wanted to do this, but rather than even attempt to question it, she decided it best to simply go. She did not exactly feel that the Glitter Princess should be dabbling in Demon Summoning and thought it best that she be there to at least lend some knowledge.

Stepping onto the roof, Nico is dressed in her trademark black, her hair back in a simple ponytail and a lollipop in her mouth. Her steps take her closer to her friend, taking the candy from her mouth and slinging her backpack off her shoulder as she walks. "I am not even going to begin to ask what you are doing, or why. For the record I am just here ot make sure you don't explode and send rays of colorful sunshine down on the fine citizens below." She tosses the bag on the gorunnd beside the table with the scroll and adds with a dry word. "I brought a book that might help. Don't ask how I got it." She then allows a small smile to come to her lips and she states. "So we doing this?"

Karolina Dean has posed:
"Nico!" Karolina laughs, smiling. She's not glowing. She has her bracelet on. "...so I ran into this guy after classes... and... he's definitley not from Earth. But, he wanted to chat with me. Because I don't smell human... so I figured I'd let him know... what I was? But I didn't want to do any of this alone. And I know magic is your thing... between the staff and all..." she rattles off her words, a mile a minute. She'd only had the one visit with Nico since the two re-connected in NYC. She's still nervous around the gothic beauty. Then, she takes a long, deep breath, before exhaling.

"Yeah, scroll's there. It's... got pretty detailed instructions. No blood. It's just charcoal, and wood, and specific burning instructions..." she gestures to the table, moving closer to it. "I think I got all the things... and I have a firepit..." she gestures to the bowl with legs, its cover lying to the side. She probably grills food here, too! "...I figured... maybe you could run through it and do it? Make sure the instructions are followed to the letter? He.... was really nice. And... super awkward..." she laughs, swaying her hips a bit, hands clasped behind her back. "I know it's a weird favor to ask but... I think he might need our help, too."

Nico Minoru has posed:
Nico shakes her head slightly, trying to hide the smile brought on by her friends excitment and enthusiasm. "Whoa. Okay first let's turn the Cheerleader excitment down to about 4. I actually feel like I am being smothered in sweetness and unicorns and I may have thrown up in my mouth a bit." Her eyes drift to the table and the scroll, leaning over and placing her hands on either side as she begins to read it. "Holy Shit Lina. This is legit. Yeah it says we need to burn these things in a specific order....let me see. Wood..charcoal...and it looks like we need a sprig of sage, which we have." She nibbles on her lower lip and continues reading ." And then read these summoning words which are clearly demonic, but I have seen the language before so that should not be an issue." She pauses and then mutters. "You have to be friggin kidding me. I have to divulge a secret or something I am ashamed of?"

Her hand goes to rub across the back of her neck and she then kneels down to her backpack. She removes a glass jar that is filled with what looks like a mixture of various hebrs and smells like mint. "Sprinkle this in wide circle aorund the fire. When he is summoned he should not be able to leave the circle unless we break the circle. Precautionary..." She then moves to kneel beside the fire pit, reaching for the ingredients. "Wood...charcoal...sage." The ingredients are added and she looks pu to make sure that the circle is being made.

She then begins to recite the demonic words, slowly and cleary. "Alikid Waquinad Lorindaval..." When all the words are stated she then states with some trepidation and a roll of her eyes. "One time I found a lost kitten and I hugged it and took it home. I named it Mr. Fluffles." She steps back away from the fire and looks to Karolina. "Now..we wait..."

Levian has posed:
Flames suddenly start to trace the circle as, presumably, one would imagine dramatic music in their heads. There are clearly high level demon magics happening right now as fire rises in the circle for a brief few moments, and when the fires go out, Levian is hunched there in his normal street clothes eating a gyro. "This gyro is good, I've never had one before, but I saw someone eating one and I had to try it..."

He looks around, noticing the circle. "Why did you trap me?" he frowns at Karolina. "I thought you were nice." he says like someone who's just been emotionally wounded, then starts eating his gyro in silence.

Karolina Dean has posed:
"Sorry, sorry..." Karolina is sheepish when Nico tells her to turn it down. The blonde steps back, hands clasping at her chest and looks away. "You know how I get! I'm excited. And. I'm glad to see you. You know. Not... with all that bad stuff going on... and bad people... and... thanks for showing up..." she says quietly. She takes the jar, sniffs at it, and starts to work with the circle. "I mean he seemed really nice and I told him I'd throw him off the roof if he did anything funny... but..." she shrugs and does what she's told. Nico's the expert.

And then it all happens. The flames. The demon. The summoning. And. The gyro. "...you do know gyros typically have lamb in them, right?" she offers, her smile a little lopsided. She gives a very apologetic smile, though, and her arms hang loose at her sides. "...Nico has the experience here, she just wanted me to be safe, in case something happened... right?" she glances at her friend, then back to Levian. "We can let you out! It's no big deal. To be honest I didn't even know if this would work... and you're wearing pants! That's also a good sign. Um... welcome to my apartment?" she gestures around, then looks at Nico again. "...he's sitting there, eating a pita... I think we can let him out..."

Nico Minoru has posed:
As Levian is summoned, Nico watches in clear wide-eyed suprise. "Holy shit, it worked. I mean thought it would work, but there he is. Standing there eating a gyro." She blinks a few times and moves to the herb cirle that surrounds the fire, scuffing her tall black boot over the hebrs and dispersing them; opening the circle. Yes it was that simple. "Totally precautionary. I had no idea what we were going to get. Seems like the only thing that should be afraid of him is his sandwich."

Nevertheless, Nico steps back and lets Karoina speak to her /friend/. "Consider yourself free...gyro boy. You can walk around now without restriction." She looks over to Karolina and then dryly adds. "You know Tinder is easier."

Levian has posed:
"I've heard of lamb. Demons are... hmm, trying to translate it to Earth language. Our primary fuel is soul food? But I prefer to only eat damned and corrupt souls, and I do not have much power to grant wishes in a deal, and unlike in Hell there aren't many souls to scavenge. So I've mostly been eating human food, as demons are also carnivores. We enjoy decadence." Levian chomps down the rest of the gyro before he stands up straight, facing Nico.

"You summoned me, so I have to give you my official inroduction, as is tradition." He cracks his neck, looking a little lazy. "I am Levian, 999th son of a demon lord whose name I don't really know and who I've never met. I will not offer you a deal because your soul isn't corrupt. But I will accept your secret as payment for summoning me. Thank you."

Karolina Dean has posed:
Karolina sighs, "...what was all that talk about wanting to try the vegan food before? I guess you're just trying to sample everything Earth has to offer?" she moves closer to Nico, staying within arm's reach. Even if she sticks her tongue out at her for her Tinder comment. "...you... DO remember... I'm into girls... right?" she asks, looking a bit on the shy side about having to remind her of that. Especially with the last time it came up.

All that aside, though, she gives a wave to her new... friend? She guesses? "Well, hello again, then. You can use the elevator when you want to leave... but welcome to my home?" she introduces again, gesturing around her cozy rooftop garden. "...and... I guess this is you showing your real self or something? Didn't I owe you the same? Since we're, you know, not... in the middle of the NYU campus now... with all those eyes and people and things."

Nico Minoru has posed:
Nico keeps her glance on the summoned Demon before her, still a bit surprised that what she did successfully summoned him. "It's um, a pleasure to meet you Levian, 999th son of a demon lord whose name you don't really know and who you've never met." She raises a hand to brush a strand of hair back from her face. "I am Nico. Demon summoner extroidinaire and insuring your safe arrival. Thank you for choosing Nico Summoning for all your summoning needs." She gives him a half smile and adds with a stern word. "And if you tell anyone about Mr. Fluffles, I will send your ass back to the father you have never met faster than Karolina runs don the stairs still on Christmas Morning."

She then smiles over to her friend and pats her once on the shoulder. "I know you are into girls, but it's a freakin' demon. Are you not the least bit curious?" She shrugs casually and then shakes her head a few times. "Whoa wait. You summoned him and then basically just told him he can leave and wander whenever he wants? Oh shit. My responsibility ended with the summoning."

Levian has posed:
"Yes, I can eat plants, I find them very good. But I'm a demon, if I don't have souls then I at least need a desecrated corpse, even if it's wrapped in strange bread with a strange white liquid." Levian explains, then starts to look around the roof, touching things. "I haven't shown my true form yet. I've avoided doing so because it keeps humans from getting afraid. But I will show my true form if you will, yes."

He immediately starts taking his jacket off, then begins to unbutton his pants without a second thought. "I don't want my clothes to get burned when I change."

"I live on Earth, I've been here for about a month. Lucifer said I could stay as long as I don't cause trouble." he assures Nico, then looks between the two of them as they seem to discuss something. "Curious about what? I can answer questions."

Karolina Dean has posed:
"I.... can't fault you for that, I suppose..." Karolina says with a shrug, and a sigh. "...well, I never was one to push my diet on people. Still, usually when someone expresses interest, it's a good way to gauge what their food intake might be like! I suppose I was dead wrong.." she laughs, not at all kept down by this. "Hey! I... don't do that anymore..." she frowns at Nico for a moment. "...I've had to make my own Christmas since we all split up... at least this year I won't be alone..." she trails off, pursing her lips.

She's about to answer the 'Whoa!' when Levian explains, and she gestures at him, "..he was a free demon when I met him... so..." she mumbles, cheeks turning pink. "I'm NOT curious! Nico! You're being rude! ..and lewd!" she presses her palm to her face, her bracelet jingling somewhat. "...I think you're the one that's curious!" she glances at Levian, eyes widening as he starts to undress.

"Not curious!" she turns around and closes her eyes. "Be polite, don't watch him strip!" she folds her arms, making it very clear she's not at all interested in what demons might be... packing.

Nico Minoru has posed:
Nico rolls her eyes as she realizes now that she has to save her friend from her comment, turning herself as the demon starts to undress on the rooftop. "Curious about your plans you know for the next few days or...like what a Demon does while in the city. Lina is a curious thing by nature." She looks over to her friend and softly mouths. "Do you think he has a..you know. She raises her hands and holds out two fingers apart as if measuring.

She tosses Lina a side glance, muttering softly still. "What do you mean you won't be alone at Christmas? You having friends over? I will await my actual invite. Nobody spreads Christmas Joy like me. I might even wear something more colorful to celebrate the commercial take over of our Lord and Savior's birth." She lightly taps her foot on the ground. "Jusy let us now when you have..you know..completed the change."

Levian has posed:
"I would try your diet properly if I was confident that I could survive without desecrated corpses and avoid subjecting myself to an eternity of horrible physical suffering." Levian says very deadpan as his shirt goes flying off. "I still want to try vegan food, it was very delicious."

Once he's stripped down and kicked his clothes away, he immediately ignites into flames before anyone can really look at him!

It unfortunately happens far too quickly for anyone to confirm anything.

Well, it's not quite like the Human Torch, it's more like his skin is a mixture of flames. Like the flowing heat rivers of the Sun mixed with lava and some flames occasionally rising from his body.

Bits of the ground burn under his feet, but he seems to keep it under control. His hair remains largely the same, though it's a bit magma-like, the dark part of magma. And his third eye is wide open. "This is my true demon form. I usually maintain even my flesh form in Hell unless I want to be left alone. This has allowed me to survive for a very long time."

Even though he's naked, his more shameful parts are fortunately too bright for anyone to look at, creating a natural censoring effect!

Karolina Dean has posed:
Karolina stares at Nico's hand gesture, and just... swats at them gently. "Stop that!" she says, but she's laughing. She's not actually mad at her friend. The questions of the holidays, though, earns a smile. "I mean, well... I've got a girlfriend... and I have the Titans... and you're in town... so... yeah. I mean you know where I live. Getting together, even just the two of us, or some of the others... it would be nice. I mean we're not a bunch of kids in an abandoned hostel anymore..." she getures around. "...I have a rooftop apartment in New York City. And I love to cook. It's practically made for friends to visit... and right now it's just me and my plants and my collections of Beatles and ponies.."

She turns around when Levian says he's done, and points at the patio. "Please stay on the bricks if you're on fire, I don't want any of my plants to burn..." she says. And. She doesn't seem at all put off or terrified by his form. "...toasty..." she smiles, fiddling with her bracelet. "Well, a deal's a deal... you both might want to shield your eyes..."

She doesn't drop her pants, but the sound of her bracelet sliding off and hitting the ground does make a jingle sound. The moment it leaves contact with her skin, she practiclaly ignites. Instead of fire, though, her whole body is engulfed in scintillating rainbow light. Her skin and her clothes shimmer and shine, and she's like a multi-colored star that's no longer standing there, but hovering about a foot over the rooftop. "Not a demon... just an alien..." she says gently.

Nico Minoru has posed:
"Maybe I will stop by then. I will have to check my plans. You know me being the grounded social type that I am. I might have to take your offer into careful consideration. Does that extend to Thanksgiving as well?" When Karolina turns, Nico does as well, mouthing another expletive and taking in the Demonic form before her. "Well that's a..um..Demon alright. Nice touch with the third eye." She takes a step back as she can feel the heat growing from her proxmity. "Yeah I would suggest not bringing that own down on 5th Ave.."

And then there is Karolina, taking off her braclet and showing Levian her Vegas Light Show. The rainbow light of joy and happiness, you can almost hear the Unicorns singing with the Faeries. It was something Nico had seen numerous times before, so the suprised look showed to Levian was replaced by a roll of her eyes. "Stay over there. I actually think I just had a warm and caring thought."

Nico then takes her phone out of her pocket and turns on the flashlight holding it above her head so it shines down on her. She turns slowly in a full circle, flashlight casting a small light on her. "See..we all glow."

Levian has posed:
"So much heat... so bright... with my third eye I can see fires, you're brighter than anything." Levian holds his hand out, offering it to Karolina. "Is it safe? I've never met another elemental that could talk. I want to touch your hand, but I don't want to harm you." Then, he adds, "I can't fly."

The roof is quite bright at this point, in between Levian, Karolina, and Nico's flashlight. He stares at Nico, squinting with his fiery eyelids. "I asked someone if she was a witch, but she said she was a goth. But you are clearly a witch, and yet you look like a goth. Humans are very confusing."

Karolina Dean has posed:
"Oh... glow friends?" Karolina asks, smiling between Nico and Levian. The former, when she does the phone-light thing, she floats in to close the distance to give the girl a hug. It's tight, warm, but also very brief. Personal space and all. Then she's back to arm's length, and watching Levian approach. "I... um... am not... sure what I am exactly... I think I'm made of, like... star stuff?" she holds her hands forward, palms up, and lets energy streamers swirl around her arms, obviously controlled by her.

"But I can fly... and... I can go to space. I mean, I can't fly fast enough to go to space, but if I were IN space, I wouldn't have to breathe, and I could fly..." she explains, excitement creeping into her voice again.

"Oh.." she looks at the extended hand, and reaches out, taking the offered one. She feels... warm. But human. It's lke shaking hands with a lava lamp. Not unbearably hot. Any flames and heat from Levian she'd... well, absorb a little. "...Nico's very special."

Nico Minoru has posed:
When Nico is hugged, she almost recoils from the light bright embrace, but accepts it and actually hugs her friend back woth her free arm, the one not holding the light over her head. When the hug is released she turns off the light and places her phone back in one of her jacket pockets. She walks a step closer, listening to Karlona talk as her glance falls on Levian again, seemingly trying to dissect every aspect of his demon from. "Does it burn Lina? She watches as her friend shakes the demon's hand, daring not to do so herself.

"SPecial? You could say that I guess." I mean everyone else has shown what they are and what they can do, SO Nico decides it is her turn to do so as well, she has little to hide. The young witch reaches down into her boot and takes out a small knife, gripping it in her hand. Hner other hand then moves to grip the blade and without a flinch she slices her palm. The knife is lowered and she squeezes her hand, a bit of blood dripping to the roof below. It is then that a staff begins to emerhe from her chest. Her face winces and she bites her lip until the staff fully appears and is then gripped tightly in her free hand.

She then mutters the word. "Gyro." The amount of blood offered is obviously enough for that level of spell and another gyro appears on the table next to the parchment. "I am a sandwich artist."

Levian has posed:
Levian closes his two primary eyes, though his third remains open as he holds Karolina's hand. "Your fire feels good, there's magic I could do with it, but I would have no way to summon it. I wonder if anyone's ever written a magic book for one person before... I guess I could."

His touch, despite being ridiculously hot, is gentle. "Your heat makes me feel... like, imagine being in Hell, you're running on all fours, you jump up and dig your claws into a Hell Knight, you rip their face open and devour their entire essence while all the lesser demons scatter around you in fear! You make me feel the opposite of that, like, I know there's a human word for it, but I don't have a demon word to translate it to..."

"Death, but good. You make me feel a good death? That's the closest I can translate. Like being alive, but also the feeling of being dead, in a good way." He at least tries to translate this feeling he's having.

"Sandwich blood magic... humans are amazing..." He stares in awe at Nico, like, genuine awe. It's in this moment that one has to realize, to him, //humans// are the aliens. Her sandwich magic is far more impressive than his demon form, to him. "You're very... the human word would be cool. You are a very cool human. Though a more literal translation would be 'you rip and tear like a pro'. It's more of a figurative statement than literal."

Karolina Dean has posed:
Karolina grimaces. She always hated what had to be done to summon that staff. Always hated it. So much. So she looks away, and focuses on Levian's radiance instead with a sigh. Then she has to grimace at -him-, too! "...gross..." she says softly. "...calm, maybe? Calm? Restful?" she tries her best to figure out a word that is the opposite of playing Doom. She can't find it, and just shrugs helplesslg.

"She... can do a lot with that blood, and that staff... me... I just glow and fly..." she smiles lopsidedly. She does more than glow and fly. "Why would you want to write a magic book for me? My fire is powered by the sun, actually," she reaches her free hand towards the sky, where the sun's dying orange glow is still bright as dusk approaches.

Nico Minoru has posed:
"Cool? I will take cool. I have been called worse." She winks to Levian and exhales slowly, holding the cut palm up to the demon. The cut is quite clear, but the blood has clotted a bit and the flow all but ceased. It is then that the staff simply begins to vanish into the air, becoming less apparent until it is completely gone until summoned once more. "My magic has a cost...and this cost was about 6.99."

She closes her cut hand gripping her fringers tightly to her palm and walks closer to Karolina, actually shoulder nudging her. "You do more than glow and fly Lina. You friggin are blessed by the sun. You are like a Warrior del Sol." She extends her hands in front of her. "Pew pew pew. Light lasers and shit. Don't let her fool you, this girl is a human solar panel."

She moves to wipe her hand on her black pant leg. "So what is your plan Demon Boy. Wander about and learn more about our beloved realm? Some people would argue that NY is worse than hell. I assure you, some neighborhoods are."

Levian has posed:
"Calm, yes, that seems like it works. I know these words but I'm never sure if I'm using them correctly... These aren't things that one typically feels in Hell, they're new feelings for me." Levian stares up at the sky, then looks down at her. "I can't use the sun because it's too far away. But you're right here. Different kinds of fire... they do different things. I have my own fire, this is what I was born with. I don't have to use spells to use my own fire."

Then he points off in the distance, very far off, likely to some tiki torch on a far off roof. "And then there's Earth fire. I can heal myself, and other fire elementals with it. So I could heal you. And other things. That's what Earth fire is for."

But then he stares down at her hand in his, fascinated. "I'm not sure what sun fire could be used for, I would have to study it closer and come up with magical theories."

He pauses, then looks into her eyes with a rather sincere look of uncertainty. "If you want to. I don't want to do anything you don't want. It may take a while."

"To answer your earlier question, about what I do in a day. I mostly wander around, learning about Earth. An explorer told me I should get a home and a job, I'm still trying to figure out how that works. Do you have a job?" he asks Nico, curious despite how rude that question would be from most people. "I like Earth. Sometimes it's familiar, but it's mostly better than Hell. Sometimes I miss being home though. I have lots of instincts that I can't easily fulfill on Earth without getting into trouble."

Karolina Dean has posed:
"You know I hate that staff..." Karolina voices her disdain for the Staff of One, but gives a sigh of resignation. Then she slowly pulls her hand back from Levian's, looking him over again. "You know, before I moved to New York, I never thought I'd meet a demon. Or have an alien girlfriend. Or go to space. This is... all a lot..." she laughs and steps back. "Don't... worry about using my fire. I kind of like using my fire. It's special to me..." she smiles, her cheeks brightening a bit. It's the only sort of blush she's got when her body is engulfed in rainbow light. "Yes, lasers and shit," she laughs. "...or shields and things... I... only started doing the hero thing again recently..."

She turns, moving to pick up her bracelet. The instant she touches the metal, she extinguishes, and lands softly on the ground. By all accounts, she just looks like a normal human girl. If. A bit on the 'too pretty' side. California girls. "I also bleed solar flares apparently."

Nico Minoru has posed:
"Of course you do. Bleeding solar flares. How are you not homecoming queen somewhere? God your like the offspring of a leprechaun who screwed a fairy on a rainbow while riding a unicorn." Her words are said with a hint of jest and a tongue sticking out at her friend. "And you know I dont have a choice with the Staff. It is kind of a part of me. Not even sure I would even know how to get rid of it, if I ever wanted to." She gestures with her head to the gyro. "I mean...how can you hate that? It's faster than Grub Hub."

She allows her eyes to fall to Levian again, still seemingly studying him. "A job? Define job. I am not really the 9 to 5 job type. I mean Care.Com has not really worked out. Parent's don't really go for the whole/..are you going to sacrifice my kid vibe. I get by." She shrugs. Sometimes I do readings for people. You know. Tell them their future, make them think they have a better life ahead cuz the cards said so. I know I am a terrible person. Girl gotta eat tho and I am not cutting my hand everyime I want take-out."

Levian has posed:
"We can work on a system of magic together, then I can use sun fire magic when you're around. It might be... fun." Levian hesitates, as if trying to find the right word for a moment.

But when Karolina puts her fire away, so does Levian, starting to collect and put his clothes back on with one hand, while shifting over to grab the gyro and start taking bites of it with the other hand.

These are very inefficient movements, but Levian often has the short-term thought of a dog. "I'm not sure what human job I can do. I'm thinking of joining something called SHIELD, someone told me I should. Not sure what it is, but I've met them a few times. One of them tried to shoot me once. The other gave me delicious Earth water."

He smiles at Nico while trying to button his pants and bite his gyro at the same time. "You can summon me if you want, I like you. But you have to use a new secret each time."

Karolina Dean has posed:
"Because we were out of high school years ago?" Karolina snarks right back at Nico, sticking her tongue out. "And a leprechaun and fairy would have been better parents in the end..." she mutters, bitterly for a moment. She shakes her head, "No rush to playing with fire. I'm still a student more than a Titan, and I don't really get around to stretch my power-legs, as it were?"

She does smile, though, despite some of her... less than happy comments. "I need to go make noodles, and prepare for some studying for tomorrow. You two can stay here for a bit if you'd like, but... I've got no real job leads, sorry, Levian," she says with genuine apology in her voice. "Nico, you need food, you tell me, ok? I cook! I cook a lot! Kori eats as much as an army somehow, so I'm always making something. If you're hungry and don't feel like takeout, or bleeding, let me know, okay? I promise noodles, so I'm going to get on that..."

She's very careful not to watch Levian try to dress and eat at the same time. She'd pointedly avoided looking at his bits and is doing her best to do so right now. She waves her hand, half-dismissive, half-beckoning. "Door out is down the stairs anyway," she smiles over her shoulder and descends into her apartment proper, opening the heavy door.

Nico Minoru has posed:
"I may take a rain check on the noodles. I should probably be getting back." However, she does not even make an attempt to expain exactly where /getting back/ actually is." She walks over and reaches out to the table, taking the parchment with the summoning spell and rolls it up, pointing in two the both of them. "I am going to hang on to this. You never know when you may want to summon a demon to hang out with. I mean if it worked once..should work again right?"

Thw young witch reaches down and grabs her backpack she had set beside the table and slings it over her shoulder, offering an actual smile to her friend and the demon man they had brought. "I'll admit. I had my doubts and reservations about this. I am glad I decided to come." With that and not another word by the usually quiet Nico, she turns and makes her way out, a softly murmured word heard. "It worked. It friggin worked."

Levian has posed:
"I made the scroll, so yes, it will work again. I can make as many of them as I like." Levian holds his hands up, suddenly making dozens of scrolls poof out of fiery nothingness, and then the all burn into non-existence just as quickly.

"Well, I'm going to find a job now. Good luck studying your spells." He immediately crawls over the side of the roof, gripping roofs, ledges, and landing on fire escapes. He seems more than happy to do that than take the stairs or the elevator.

Overall, it was a productive day.
