Sam Guthrie has picked up Allegra earlier, so the two could do a bit of home window shopping. He stopped and got them breakfast on the go, as figured they would be riding a lot. "So, you want to start here, and work our way out see what we find?"

Alexis Carr has posed:
    Allegra was wearing jeans and a T-shirt, a denim jacket and a pair of shades. She had happily drawn herself out into the the air, and was clinging to Sam as she breathes out, helmet on as she gives a soft "hm" in thought.

    "Sounds all right; I'd rather stay to something a bit older, something with character."

Sam Guthrie smiles and drives them down towards the older sections of town "Wanting something for us too fix up, or wanting move in ready?" He asks back to her He does point out a few places while driving "We got thrown out of that burger joint, with bird brain one time."

Alexis Carr has posed:
    The dark haired woman gives a soft laugh, and rubs the back of her head. "Well, ah, I don't know Sam. The first time I'm really looking at an actual place to live." she replies, and rubs the back of her head. "I mean, how hard could it be to fix up a place? Hire contractors, choose a decorator, shop for the little things..."

Sam Guthrie chuckles a bit and says "Well hon, I am a bit more used to fixing it ourselves, but it could be done like that, just have heard they can try to take longer than it should."     "That... is an interesting and rather modern design." she muses quietly in consideration.

Sam Guthrie smiles and says "I was thinking more 70s feel from looking at it." He offers to her "Want to go up and have a look around or not what your wanting?" He asks her "There is one thats on the other side of the lake from the school I was reading about.

Alexis Carr has posed:
    "Mmm, I'm not sure if that's really what I'm looking for. And yes--" she gives a wry grin. "When you grow up in a building that's eight centuries old, anything newer than 1920's is 'modern'." she jokes, reaching up and ruffling lightly against Sam's hair.

    The next house, on the other hand, she gives it her attention. More traditional feelign.

Sam Guthrie smiles and will pull into to parking area, and looks over to her "Ah gotta admit, bigger than Ah grew up with but sorta feels like it could be home, heck even got a barn." He points down the property a bit.     "That's not a bad one." Alexis agrees, and she purses her lips a moment, and she looks over the house. "It is pretty big, but for some reason I keep on considering that it's not just our house. Inevitably I'm sure family will visit." Alexis replies to Sam, and rubs the back of her head a little bit as she looks over to him.

Sam Guthrie nods, a bit and says "Well this place we would have room for either mine or yours, heck depending on what the barn actually looks like maybe both, I mean we could probably shove all the littles in there. He jokes "Also being across the lake from the school I could fly over skimming the waters and maybe not be noticed.

    "Makes your commute to work easy." Allegra confirms quietly, and she leans against Sam a moment.

    "How much do you think it would cost to buy it outright?" she questions, looking to her phone. "I could ask mum for a bit of a loan..."

Sam Guthrie keeps one arm around her, and pulls out his phone to look at the listing He whistles softly "They are wanting 2.5 mil, maybe able to get them to 2 mil, it is a bit on the high side it seems, but it does have the lake, the land and such." He looks at her and says "You really think your mom can float that type of money hon?"

Alexis Carr has posed:
    "... mmn. That might be tight." Alexis admits, rubbing the back of her head as she breathes out. "I might have to ask Nonna and Papa."

Samuel Guthrie has posed:
Sam Guthrie looks to her, and says "Ah am sure we can find something cheaper, this is more a dream house, and something smaller would work for our first home, we could maybe start saving, Ah mean if you want it Ah will find a way." He ponders in his head "Hey BErto, can I borrow two million dollars." Not likeing the feeling of it even though he believes his friend might do it.

    Alexis pauses, and she looks at Sam for a moment.

    "Sam... I could ask my Nonna for a little money for a house, and we would have a house -- but you're right. I mean, I'm... in betwene jobs at the moment and you're a school teacher." she remarks quietly, and rubs the back of her arm a moment.

    "Something smaller, for a first home."

Sam Guthrie nods, and leads her back towards the motorcycle, and says "Well I think the one under two hundred k might be a bit smaller than your wanting. Hhe shows her one with two bedrooms on his phone.
