(Text to Stephen) Classmate acting off, another has missed class and not turning in work. The professor is not happy about these things, you know?

(Text to Stephen) Asked questions. Easy when they have too much to drink. Students in dorms say they sleep like the dead. No memories of their sleep, nothing overnight. They wake up and go to class, drink liters of coffee, still look bad. No one is dreaming.

Stephen Strange has posed:
(Text to Illyana) Curious. Expected during terms, but multiple reporting lack of REM sleep is peculiar. Suspect foulness. You wish for us to investigate?

(Text to Stephen) Would think nothing else is more suited. Your backyard, da? The students look leeched. I stared too long, they are all dull.

(Text to Stephen) It is for the longer term students, da. The short term was two weeks ago. Not right though. Caffeine wakes them up, but they do not ever become alert. Shuffle back and forth. Listless, do not speak or seem there.

(Text to Illyana) Concentration difficulties, irritability, anxiety, tension? Listlessness checks. Depression, too. Dream deprivation linked to all instances you described. If student body as a whole is affected, then common denominator would indicate a larger influence.
