Synopsis:	Barry Allen meets his grandson and they bond

Barry Allen has posed:
Barry Allen is at work, oddly enjoying a slow day. His days been noticibly slower paced since his return. Admittedly Barry normally haaaaates slow paced anything the world is already moving agonizingly slow to him. But With Wally stepping up as the Flash in his abscence Barry takes actual comfort in actually being able to stop and spend time with those he loves enough to stop for. Though meating a future grandchild before hes even had a child is cause of some concern. Barry shudders as he spares a thought to how his sabbatical in the speedforce might have done to the time stream to cause this.

Bart Allen has posed:
Bart Allen has given Barry some time, since they met. But he has been heroing a bit longer now, and has had to make a few trips to Central City to help save the day. Now he has done some checking and knowing Barry should be working today, Bart has decided it is time, they get to know one another. So, he will find his way to Barry's Lab. He does use super speed to get into the building and to the door to knock on it.

Barry Allen has posed:
The door flies open and barry is back at his desk in the same instant. "Come in Grandson" Barry says feeling awkward still trying to figure out how to behave for his descendant. He wonders what impression this kid has of him from a future version of barry. .oO(Am I acting enough like his grandpa? how would I act as a grandpa. Fastest grandpa alive scooting about in a walker at mach 48,000?)

Bart Allen has posed:
Bart Allen will walk in, his hands in his pockets. He is wearing jeans and a t-shirt with the cheetah kittens on it that were just recently born at Gotham Zoo. The young man comes over towards the other and says "You can call me Bart if you want, I mean, might get a few odd looks if your boss or someone hears ya calling me it." He offers a smile, trying to be reassuring.

Barry Allen has posed:
"they call you bart? I nev..but we..I like being called Barry but Bart is the better nickname." Barry says with an awkward chuckle. Barry closes and locks the door to his office and retuns to his desk.

"ok from the beginning tell me how you got here and why." Barry wants to ask a million questions but learning about your own future is extremely dangerous.

Bart Allen has posed:
Bart Allen looks over, and says "You want spoilers, or non spoiler version?" He will ask the man as he moves to have a seat. He offers a smile and says "From what I have gathered listening to others who are from the future, it does not seem to be set in stone. I mean, like there is a girl named Hope who is part of the Outsiders, who shot batman, her future is different than the one I have learned about in history lessons."

Barry Allen has posed:
"the version least likely to tear up the timeline. I assume from your mere existence I end up having kids at some point and they have at least one child. I don't wnt to jeopardize in anyway." Barry says before listening to Bart's cliffs notes of the future. "so the future in in flux? And a girl killed batman? different from yours? are you saying there are branching timelines?"

Barry in a snap is now up by his white board furiously scribbling complex theoretical equals trying to make scientific sense of what his grandson is telling him and what he's inferring from it.

Bart Allen has posed:
Bart Allen shakes his head a bit and says "NA, he was not hurt, it was a taser and his quit was insulated, but I think the rest of us were shocked more than Batman was to be honest. "Ok, well the short version, I was born of one of your kids, but unlike the rest of the family, the speed force was with me from birth. I had to be aged in VR, to give me any chance of keeping up with my age. I was born in 3001, and by 3003, I was the equivalent of 12 years old. Grandma Iris and Mom sent me back in time, to have Wally help me. He was able to stabilize my metabolism and set me up with a teacher here, who taught me about the speed force, and forced me to try to learn about life at a normal pace. Max Mercury."

Barry Allen has posed:
"why did they need to send you back in time? DON'T ASNWER THAT!" Barry suddenly has a very dreadful feeling. .oO(they had to send bart back that means in his time, Wally and I are not able to help him. Both of us out of commission. What HAPPENS?!?!?!) Barry looks noticibly anxious.

"by your understanding how does timetravel work? Tell me everything you know about it. Everything they told you. That you can spoil. " Barry says needing answers. He knows he shouldn't mess with the future but clearly something has gone disasterously wrong.

Bart Allen has posed:
Bart Allen looks to him, and says "I was born in 3001." He explains of why they had to send him back, he might be a grandson but is from nearly a thousand years ahead. "Well from what I have learned listening and seeing things going around, it seems some things I learned are true, but not all. I mean like Hope, she is from a post apocalyptic type future, mine was pretty well except for ..." He stops himself "Sorry another spoiler." But then I never heard stories of Irie, Wally's daughter coming back to this time, but she is here now, and she did not bring Jai with her."

Barry Allen has posed:
"3001?!?!" Barry is shocked at the year. "but if the future is undecided, because there is a time where this hope girl comes from that is in ruins and you come from a good timeline and Wally's daughter came from a different time... I have been a terrible example for all of you havent I?" Barry says trying to figure out how the future works but then realizing his timeline meddling has rubbed off on his descendants and family, clearly.

"so hypothesis 1, there arent multiple timeline just one and all of you are just coming from different points in the future. or Hypothesis 2, when you go back in time you don't effect your future you instead create a new brancing timeline. So how do we test these?" Barry says his mind switching into science mode.

Bart Allen has posed:
Bart Allen hmms and says "Well to be honest, I aint sure how we would test it but I believe it is more the second. And to be honest, I am not sure if the speed fore time travel works different than other versions. I mean like Hope did not use the speed force to come here, and then you have Booster gold, or the legion when they came to talk to cousin Jenni."" He hmms and walks over to the board, and says "I have wondered if you ever return to the time you left when you time travle, or just one really close to your reality."

Barry Allen has posed:
Barry eyes widen and then well up with a sudden realization. .oO(thats why it never works, why i can't change what happened that night.i can't change what already happened i just made a new timeline.) "I suppose it is possible to lose your way and end up in a place that isnt where you left. But so far in my experiences i tend to come back to where i came from."

Barry shakes his head and is focused again. "so at some point we lose our monopoly on timetravel which is, terrifying. but it means there certainly are other ways to do it. which make sense there are speedsters that arent truly connected to the speedforce like we are. Though The speedforce is everywhere it moves through us and around us. but you know superman is fast but he's not connected to the speedforce liek we are. he's fast through other means. so it stands to reason that given enough time humanity would figure out a way to do it. Whats doing on with those other methods i can't know till i see it but, I'm gonna assume it's not great for the fabric of the universe."

Bart Allen has posed:
Bart Allen shrugs a bit and says "I don't know for sure, to be honest, and the coming back to a slightly different time was just a theory. You know you come back, and instead of coffee that morning you had tea or something." He shrugs a bit more. I know what ya mean about speedsters, there was a girl I was chatting with, she had super speed reactions, but could not run at speeds, but not sure if that was from her leg issues or how her powers worked." He sits on a table, and says "I really don't think we ever had a monopoly on time travel to be honest.

Barry Allen has posed:
Barry looks at the young man an he hears the voice of his father. 'barry thats your family stop thinking about your own future and think about the kid. he's away from home away from his family, you know better.'
"hey Bart, how about we drop this technical talk about time travel and such. Tell me about yourself? how are you doing? are you homesick at all? Are you making friends here? I want to know my grandbaby" Barry asks giving a smile, and opening up his posture.

Bart Allen has posed:
Bart Allen smirks a bit and says "Well I am not quite a baby, that was only a week or so." He jokes a bit, and says "Well I actually consider this my home to be honest, I would like to go visit Mom more, but well there are some issues there." He frowns for a moment, and then continues on "I have lived in this time for 6 years with real people not just computer simulation. "I lived with Max for a few years, and then with Jay and Joan till it was time to go to college. Jay stressed to me I needed a real life besides the hero thing. I live out with the outsiders in Gotham, but considering getting my own place as well. I am going to college for veterinarian medicine, and working at Gotham Zoo at night." He hmms and says "Superboy and Robin, the taller ones are my best friends, I am working with two or three hero groups right now, really this is my real home I think.
