Cast of Characters: Harrison Wells, Wally West

Harrison Wells has posed:
It's been years since anyone has seen the Reverse-Flash anywhere in the world. Whether out of design or because he was in hiding, it didn't matter. He wasn't turning Central City into his playground, and that was likely enough for any of the Flash family.

The last few weeks though, have seen that changing though, with others starting to have sighting of him outside of his usual MO. No one has died yet, but someone fitting his description attacked an Asgardian at a Manhatten theatre a while back, and then he toyed with someone else. Minor things, excluding the assault, but nothing like he used to do in those years he was active.

Now.... he's just standing there, on the longest pier on the Central City docks. That yellow suit blurred to all but those woth the super reflexes to see through the superspeed... and that red lightning trailing across his body on occasion, staring out onto the water... with no one sane going to try to speak to him. He's not stupid... and he doesn't do things without a plan, usually. At least he didn't before he disappeared.

What's he doing?

Wally West has posed:
Wally has been on the look out for a speedster matching Zoom's description lately. He has been checking off locations as he goes, but he has a good feeling about the docks this time. There are only a few piers, so it can only take so long before he detects the speedforce coming off one particular spot along the shoreline.

He atlast approaches the pier from the water. This will be over shortly one way or another. "Mr. Zoomy!" His voice no doubt sounds a little funny, because you don't get to control how fast another speedster percieves you, and they never match up quite right. "You'll have to forgive me if I don't shake hands."

Wally isn't sure if he inteded to be quippy before he opened his mouth, but at this point he figures he may as well go with it. "You don't call, you don't write. The only time I see you is when we bump into each other out in the street." From his perspective he is taking a leasurely stroll over the waves as the drops hang in the air. "I'd almost started to think you didn't want to see me."

Wally is of course not quite stupid enough to get /too/ close. He relies on projecting his voice and the fact that no doubt his inteded audience is actually listening to him.

Harrison Wells has posed:
From Wally's angle, he can see those almost-trademark glowing red eyes: The telltale sign of his version of the Speed Force -unique to the Reverse Flash, as far as anyone including Wally knows- in use is there. The red lightning is there. The stance is there. This is the Reverse-Flash after all these years.

He simply stares at Wally for a few seconds. An eternity for speedsters, if they're using their Speed Force. Then, his Speed Force distorted voice comes, "You're barely worth my time. You're a child playing at being a guardian, pretending that because you have access to a superweapon you know how to play with your toys." The man in the yellow suit sneers, "I was wondering which of you would find me out here. You've gotten complacent over the years."

Wally West has posed:
Wally makes a mock gasp of shock. "You see? Now that was just hurtful. The first time we meet in so long, and that is the first thing that comes out of your mouth." He pauses. Something occurs to him about the things he has heard. "Say, I wouldn't happen to be talking to a recording would I? You seem to be awefully vague today."

He has no intention of stepping into what is almost certainly a trap. Who knows, perhaps it isn't a recording. That could be interesting. "In case I am talking to a recording, I wan't to let you know that I am hurt. You go missing for ages and all you can manage is a message left to whom it may concern."

Harrison Wells has posed:
He stands there. Nothing happens. Nothing changes. He could very well be a recording. He could actually be the real deal.

He's not making it clear either way: The goading appears to have no effect on the Reverse-Flash. If that is, indeed, what he is.

Wally West has posed:
Wally throws a rock the knees of the alleged Reverse-Flash. He figures that should force some kind of response.

He did some consideration before he started this whole adventure. He recalls that letting Reversey-poo touch you is bad for your health, so he considers it advantageous to enter into a projectile fight. He has other precations in mind too, but he would rather not test them.

Harrison Wells has posed:
It is, in fact, the real Reverse-Flash. The rock is thrown... and inches before it'd hit the destructive Speed Force aura he has, he's off again, running directly opposite of where he was, down a street. If that wasn't clue enough, the lights as he goes start burning out or sparking as he goes as uncontrolled red lightning flits here and there behind him.

"You've gotten quite paranoid. I can almost taste the fear from here." The Reverse-Flash chuckles as he heads for one of the larger, flat roofed skyscapers... and starts running up the side of it.
