Synopsis:	Yukio comes across another ninja! A foreign ninja? Weird!

June Connor has posed:
    Bushwick is known as a haven for mutants. Well, somewhat. There's at least a high population of them living here, so people in the area are at least not surprised when one turns up. June's not among them. The Hand's presence is lower here, and so in her constantly shifting sleep space, she finds dusk a rather troublesome time. She hasn't found somewhere to sleep for the night.

    Her clothing probably doesn't endear her to people she should want to be around, either. A lot of skin is showing, though she doesn't have many curves to brag of with that skin. Tattoos are on her back, revealed by the black string halter top and shredded jeans, and a knapsack that hangs from her shoulder. Bright red hair that is surely not that color naturally spikes out to one side, and her eye shadow is thick. Not exactly a discrete looking person. One might never expect her to be a ninja.

    She's also not made a habit of being in the safest parts of Bushwick, if any are safe, and as it is, she's picked up a couple of followers, three men, one of whome is clearly a mutant at least, with a leathery skin complexion. They don't look like a friendly group either.

Yukio has posed:
Yukio is more or less recently arrived in the United States, slowly picking up the language bit by bit, but she's been eager to see more of the famous New York City. Being a ninja made it easier to sneak out of the school every now and again, and today she made it to Bushwick.

Unlike most, Yukio doesn't know anything about it. She also kinda stands out, what with her pink long hair, the pretty haori she's wearing, very unusual and sticking out.

She wasn't really looking for anything specific, but getting a sense of ill intent drew her towards June and her group of unwanted followers. From afar, she keeps an eye, determined to help the girl if she needs it.

June Connor has posed:
    "Hey," the scaly man says. "You look like you're lost, girly," he says as they catch up to her, only across the street from Yukio. "Need some help?"

    June turns around, thumb hooked on her knapsack, and smacks some gum that she is chewing. The furrowing of her eyebrows indicates she wasn't expecting the scaly appearance, and she gives him a once over. "I dunno," she answers cynically. "You with the State lottery?" She walks casually backward.

    One of the other men grin. "Never know, we could be," he says. He gives a glance over her in return. "Walkin' all by yourself, we could help you with more than money," he suggests slyly.

    "Wow, that sounds kinda rapey," June cuts through the innuendo.

    "It doesn't have to be," the man answers with a cocky grin.

    "Yeah, unless you're planning on givin' me some handout, I'm gonna pass," she says, turning her back on them again and continuing to walk. Of course, this gets her quickly surrounded as they pick up their pace. It doesn't look like they are taking a no for an answer.

Yukio has posed:
From the distance she's at, Yukio might not fully overhear the conversation, even if she would, she may not necessarily fully understand the meaning of what is being said. But as a ninja, she is quite good at reading body language, and it's evident that June is in trouble here.

Yukio feels obligated to help a fellow teen, and all the way from across the street, with one deft motion, she sends three kunai flying, each aimed at a different person, generally looking for the throat. It's the kind of injury that threatens to be fatal if untreated, and therefore will force them away from June in look for treatment. Asian students are smart, it's not just a stereotype.

June Connor has posed:
    The one who had been talking most recently finds a kunai striking him in the side of the neck. He screams in pain, grabbing the injury immediately.

    The scaly mutant is struck as well, but his skin seems a bit thicker, the kunai having not enough power to penetrate his skin.

    The third seems to be aware of it at the moment, and he reflexively swats the air, and the kunai veers off course and into the alley nearby.

    June jumps, looking in Yukio's direction. She has no idea who the girl is, but she isn't about to ask such questions right now. She quickly kicks the man who just revealed himself as a telekinetic, taking his momentary distraction to send a foot into his chest, knocking him back and to the ground.

    The scaley mutant wheels in Yukio's direction, but then when his ally is kicked, he turns back, a fist taking advantage of June's attack, and clobbering her across the side of the face, sending her stumbling across to the side. "Mark's hit!" he declares. "Mark can you get to the clinic, it looks bad, man!" The injured troublemaker nods. "I think so," he says, holding his hand out, he makes a circle, and some kind of portal appears before him.

Yukio has posed:
"Yatta," Yukio congratulates herself for her success, feeling mighty proud on her first ninja act on American soil. She takes note of Mr. Scales, she'll probably have to take him one on one, but then Mr. I Got Magic Powers is a concern! He knocked that kunai mid-flight! That was rare feat.

"Yes! You go!" She tries to encourage June when she sees her taking down the powered guy, that's promising, and means she is free to rush Mr. Scales, who also goes directly at her. "You want to pray?" She asks him with a cocky grin, reaching for a nine section whip made of metal coiled at her hip. She immediately starts whirling it about with alarming expertise that might belie the fact she knows a thing or two, and it's more than just a chain. "Are you ready?" She asks in a voice that suggests it's picked up from some kind of an animated show, rather than actually constructing the words on her own.

As Scales is distracted by the injury to Mark, and his intent to harm June, the chained whip flies at his legs, as Yukio uses it pull his legs off from under him.

June Connor has posed:
    June recoils from the blow to the face, but for her small body, she seems to be a little more durable than she look. "Ow, shit!" she rubs her face. "Sonofabitch, I'm gonna enjoy this you ugly mutant fuck," she grits out.

    The scaly smiles wickedly at Yukio. "I'm not the prayin' type," he growls, showing a rather sharp set of teeth. He's really solid. VERY solid. He doesn't make any move to stop the chain, but the pull is met with the resistance of a stone pillar He reaches down, and grabs it, yanking it to try to bring Yukio toward him with a firm tug.

    Meanwhile, June was going to make an attack from the rear, but as she moves toward the scaly mutant, the telekinetic throws his hand out, and she's hit by an invisible force that throws her back against the brick wall, decidedly dazing her.

    Mark dumps himself through his portal, which disappears behind him. One is out at least.

Yukio has posed:
"Praying...?" Yukio seems a bit puzzled, thinking over what she just said, she might need to work on pronounciation. Not that she'd ask Mr. Scales for tips at this very moment. "You beta starto," she grins, and she was just waiting for him to pick the chain, because the moment he does a surge of electricity zips through the conductive metal, and he's about to feel why you shouldn't put a fork inside an electric socket. Except the socket is more like a hit of a bit of lightning. "SURPRISE! MADAFAKA!" Oh, she's seen movies, she knows how you're supposed to quip!

June Connor has posed:
    The electric shock certainly takes him by surprise. He finds himself being mildly electrocuted, and his muscles clench up, knocking him to the ground. His scales certainly can't protect him from that.

    With a little breathing room, though, the telekinetic looks back over to his ally, and he quickly gestures toward the kunai that he had knocked away earlier, and returns it to sender, the small dagger flying straight toward Yukio!

    June stumbles back to her feet, and opens her bag, pulling a small pellet out from it. Instead of directly attacking the telekinetic, she throws the small smoke bomb in front of him, obscuring his view for finding a target.

Yukio has posed:
The chain is expertly coiled right back towards Yukio, who has it set between her elbow and hand, ready to lash out as needed. She still seems pretty self assured, not at all intimidated by Scales. "I tord you, betta watch out, Mista!"

Yukio proves her expertise with kunai, when her free hand zips to snatch the flying blade between index and middle finger. "Best make escape," she offers to June, releasing a smoke bomb of her own, before suddenly disappearing. But she took note of June, and she'll be sure to track her down.

June Connor has posed:
    June isn't sure where this electric ninja has appeared from, but for a moment she had expected to be the next target, so when she's encouraged to escape she is caught a bit off guard. With her unbidden ally's exit, she looks down at the tasered scaly mutant, and she rushes to his side. Wallet. Now hers. Rather than risk continuing against a telekinetic when the smoke clears, she takes that small favor and flees the scene as well.

    Twenty minutes later, in an isolate alley, she opens her prize. "Twenty fucking bucks for all that? Figures. I should stay out of Mutant Town."
