Michael Hannigan has posed:
If there's one thing that is known by those who have ever looked into City Spire as a potential place to live, it's that it has an amazing location. Most of the even numbered apartments high up enough have some sort of view of Central Park. And for those who weren't that lucky, the roof more than makes up for it. With the patio style furniture, grill and potted plants, the rooftop makes for a bonus bit of living space any resident can take advantage of.

Ant that's what Mike is doing now. With the next leg of the tour set to start soon. Mike's enjoying his time on the roof by reclining on one of the lounge chairs and reading. Every so often, when he needs a break or he hears one of the cities avian population making noicse, he'll set the book down and quietly watch.

Man... Rockstars and their wild lives, huh?

Jon Kent has posed:
When Jon flies, there's a distinct wooshing from the air against his suit. The noise gets quieter of course, as he flies slower and slower, staying upright as he hovers above the rooftop, cape billowing in the breeze, and flapping gently. "Hey Mike." He says, staying up there for a bit, giving Mile time to say buzz off or something else, should he want to be left alone.

Though really, would you want to tell a Kryptonian on earth to buzz off?

Michael Hannigan has posed:
Ah yes, the blue and red avian more commonly known as Superboy. With the super habitat typically noted to be the Metropolis region, it is a rare sight in New York City. Mike lowers his book, glancing up to see the floating super. He gives a smile. "Hey Superboy. Good seeing you."

He sets the book down before pressing his hands on the chair frame, adjusting his posture to sit a bit more upright. "Come join me." He waves over to a nearby chair.

Jon Kent has posed:
Jon's smile turns to a grin as he starts to descend to the rooftop, which honestly doesn't take him that long.

"How ya doing?" he asks, after landing, and walking gently to the offered chair, grasping his cape with his left arm, making sure he doesn't tug on it while sitting.

He rests in the chair, and takes a load off. "Oh this is nice." yeah, he gets views of the city very few ever do, but he still sees a good view when it's there.

Michael Hannigan has posed:
"Oh. I'm doing alright." Mike answers, watching as the younger male takes a seat, "Went to an audition a few days ago. Annnd today's the last day of my break before I hit the next leg of the tour, so thought I'd slow it down a little by relaxing up here."

The smile strengthens as Jon confirms how great the view is. "Nice and peaceful up here." He grows quiet for a moment, looking back to the view before looking back to Jon. "And how about you? What brings you to New York?"

Jon Kent has posed:
Superboy looked out to the view for a little longer, before turning his head and responding to Mike. "Oh audition huh? That sounds like fun." Though he probably doesn't realize it's for something bigger than a school play.

"I decided to take a fly." Superboy admitted. "It was a beautiful day for it." Yes, enjoying the last days of summer before fall starts to settle. "Not a lot happening today, which is good."

Michael Hannigan has posed:
"Hopefully it will be." Mike agrees, "It should only be one or two episodes." The musician glances back to the scenery, eyes glancing upwards to the sky, thinking about the flying comment. "What does it feel like? Actually flying?"

Jon Kent has posed:
Jon's answered this question before, but the answer always changes. When he answers Mike, however, he gives probably the most honest answer he's ever given. "Really, it's a weird feeling. Your feet are on the ground one moment, then the ground just...falls away from you. And you just move away. When you take off like I normally do, it kinda...plays with your mind. But once you start going fast...it's just...freeing, you almost forget that the ground is there, and you just...are."

Michael Hannigan has posed:
Mike nods, smiling to some parts of the description, "What about the feel when you're up there, and the smells?" He pauses, "There are smells, right?"

Jon Kent has posed:
"Yeah there are. Mostly fresh air, once you get above the pollution. It smells, like..." Jon looks from side to side, and back to Mike.

"You want to find out?" His face completely serious, because he can make this happen easily.

Michael Hannigan has posed:
Mike brows lift to the offer. And he turns his head to glance back up to the sky. "...I'll be honest, I have flown before. But because of how- I never get to feel or smell it-" He tilts his head down, giving a grin, giving a bit of a chuckle, "Sure. I'd like to."

Jon Kent has posed:
"Yeah, I know mister rock star. This is different." Jon stands up, and smiles super wide. "Ok, just stand up, and hold onto my forearm." He holds out his arm, once offered, he grasps Mike's forearm as well, and starts to lift off.

Slow at first, but after a little getting used to it, Jon and Mike start rising more and more, faster and faster. Nothing like a jet flightier fast, just a steady climb.

Michael Hannigan has posed:
With the offer still on the table, Mike doublechecks to make sure the book is safely on the chair before getting up. Following the instructions. He reaches over to hold on to the indicated forearm. Due to the two of them being equal height, there's not much effort needed to accomplish this.

As their feet start to lift off, Mike blinks, glancing down, "Wo-"

Despite all the times Mike has flown under his own power, there is indeed something different when he has all of his senses. The tension is there initially but upon him reminding himself that if he were to fall, he had more than one way of avoiding the splat down below. One of which was under his own power.

And there's something reassuring about knowing you have some control over a situation.

As they start to move higher and quicker, Mike is beaming as he's feeling the air pass through his hair.

"Okay this is better."

Jon Kent has posed:
Jon's Kryptonian blue eyes glint in the sunshine, making them vibrant. "Yeah, pretty cool, huh?" He comments, feeling the air out there, just taking it in.

"Not much of a smell when you're this high, but there's something." He takes a look around. "Oh...and the stars...sometime you should see it up this high. You can see so much more."

"Okay, you want to have more fun?" He asks, smirking a little. "I can fly pretty fast, you know."

Michael Hannigan has posed:
Mike takes a moment to close his eyes, taking in a breath to pick up on the cool moisture within the clouds. Not enough for the promise of rain but just enough to be refreshing. The pale eyes open, looking over towards Jon, "How does that work with another person?"

Well, granted he's kind of defying gravity already with positioning. Maybe it runs along similar logic as phantasming someone else?

Jon Kent has posed:
"Well, I guess it would be just holding on a little tighter. I never really tried going fast with someone else...or bringing someone else up with me for that matter." Jon's free hand reaches up and scratches his chin. "Up to you though!"

Michael Hannigan has posed:
Mike considers, There already was a lot of sensory rewards already. The feel of the wind against his skin, actually feeling the lift off. The smell of rain that's starting to build up

Rain.

The book!

Mike's heart skips a beat as he turns his head to look in the direction of the rooftop. "I think it's going to rain soon and my book is still on that chair. We should get back." He considers Jon for a moment, "Maybe next time I could show you how I do it."

Jon Kent has posed:
Jon quickly looks back down to the city, and focuses on the rooftop. "Oh, yes. Okay, hold on." Jon can at least get them back quickly, maybe not jet speed, but Jon's flight speed gave Mike a little taste of that speed.

As the pair approached the roof, Superboy slows down, enough to touch back with just a little pressure. "That sounds like fun!" Jon offers his friend. "So, where to next for you? Tokyo? Munich?"

Michael Hannigan has posed:
And what a fantastic quick trip it was. But, once Mike's feet reach the rooftop and he is let go, the musician walks over to the chair to pick up the book. A hand runs over it before he looks back over to Jon. "Florida. Actually." Mike answers, "Doing a US tour first. Starting up the third leg of it tomorrow." He gives a bit of an apologetic grin for it not being one of the other locations. "I did do Ireland and Italy tours for the kick off though." So yes. International travel is still a thing.

Jon Kent has posed:
"Oh Florida's just fine. I just...you know." Jon offers up with a nod. "Still, touring, living on the road. Kinda like the song, you know? It's kinda old now but have you ever heard 'Turn the Page'?" Well, sounds like someone gave this kid an education in rock and or roll.

Michael Hannigan has posed:
Mike chuckles at the mention of the song. "Yeah. There is a lot of riding around. Flying too. But I've got a really good agent in Wade. He's always making sure I don't take on more than I can handle. Because of the issues from earlier, the tour's been broken up into smaller legs so I'm getting a few more breaks in, and fitting in other projects." He gives a thoughtful glance to the door which leads down to the building he resides in. "Feels like over the years we transitioned from being friends to being brothers."

He looks back to Jon, "Have you encountered that yet?"

Jon Kent has posed:
Jon's eyes kinda get a little dim before the cloud coverage above them gets darker, and a clap of thunder rings through the air.

The rain is slow at first, but is gaining momentum. "Hey, it's getting kinda ugly out here. Mind if we move?"

Michael Hannigan has posed:
Mike holds the book closer to his chest. Crap! "Alright! Inside we go!"
