Synopsis: Saeko: Relationship Counselor!
Cast of Characters: Thomas Blake, Saeko

Thomas Blake has posed:
Thomas Blake ponders a bit after Simon Trent leaves. To the server's surprise he orders a cherry coke, what Simon orders. Then he loosens the tie that was choking him and put his suit jacket on the back of his chair. He rakes his scalp making his hair return to its ruffled state and begins putting the paperwork back in his briefcase. Pretending to be normal WAS exhausting, just like that nerd's t-shirt proclaimed. He recoils a bit from the sweetness of the drink. e wonders if she's missing him yet?

No. Of course not. If she missed you she'd be here. Poof, you know?

Saeko has posed:
Saeko didn't know who Simon Trent was, didn't know what Thomas had been up to...but she'd been well...curious. Thomas wasn't a typical human after all, but last she'd seen him the man had been in a poorer mood. A little shift, a waver in the air and suddenly Thomas wasn't sitting alone. Instead, there was a woman wrapped in black slacks and a red button-up blouse. No ears, no tail, and yet it was clearly Saeko as she turns and tilts her head with a light smile.

"So here's where you are..."

Thomas Blake has posed:
Thomas Blake flinches at the sudden appearance. He relaxes wen he sees who it is. He never seems completely relaxed. He takes another sip of his... soft drink and closes his briefcase.

"Yes. Here I am. What can I do for you?" He sits back in his chair.

Saeko has posed:
A raise of her eyebrow, Saeko turns, lazily resting her elbow on the counter while she looks the man over, certainly this was the neatest she'd seen him, but then she'd only ever seen the man at the Griffen before now.

"Last I saw of you Thomas, you seemed quite unhappy, and you left without much of a word. I know I do not live with you two, but I had not seen you for a time."

Thomas Blake has posed:
Thomas Blake nods. "Yes sorry for not saying good-bye to you. That was rude. I'm sorry you had to see all that. Want some lunch?" He signals for a waitress. "So is this a business call? Because I'm actually being very productive. Inari should be pleased. I'm even fairly legitimate. If you're concerned for me, don't be. I've had worse blows and gotten far more angry than you've ever seen me. I'm fine," he repeats firmly. The server brings the menu, is about to say something but decides better and makes like a ninja.

Saeko has posed:
"You are not a craftsman seeking inspiration nor someone seeking prosperity..." she trails off, Saeko shrugging her shoulders as she takes the menu and lazily offers a little lift of her hand to signal for a drink of her own, but she never speaks directly to him. "I'm sure you have, but that's not the source of my curiousity...my curiousity, and concern, is what exactly you were mad about...or if it were directed at me, or Satana."

Thomas Blake has posed:
Thomas Blake says pointblank, "I'm not angry with you. You did nothing. As for what I was angry with... what do you think I was angry about? Let's see... it could be the way I was spoken to, what was said, the context, I can understand your confusion. So many things to be angry about. I have injured people for far less. Far less. I don't plan on reconvening..."

Saeko has posed:
"Ah-hah," Saeko exclaims, tilting her head to the side and then folding her arms under her bust. "So it was Satanna's teasing, it crossed the line to talking down to you..." she trails off, tilting her head to the side and then chewing her bottom lip in thought. "Not reconvening? You plan not to return to the Griffin?"

Thomas Blake has posed:
Thomas Blake says a little angrily. "It was our home, but it is my house. I'm not giving it up. Perhaps you should find other accommodations should we not work this out. It's not going to be worked out the 'usual' way. All that does is table it for a while. It was never /that/ which made me smile and carry on, whether you believe it or not. It was also a lot of things she did, though more so since she met you. I see the other side of her more. That side that says, I'm just a stupid human. I make her laugh. She tolerates me. She shows off her pet kitty cat (I hate that fucking name) to her real friend -you." He speaks clearly and slowly with a deadpan face. Only the eyes gleam coldly.

Saeko has posed:
"You feel I have made things worse then?" Saeko questions, tilting her head to the other side and uncrossing her arms to rest her palms on her knees. "That I remind her of her demonic heritage? Or that my divinity makes her feel more in common perhaps?" she pauses, perhaps awaiting his response before she places a fingertip to her own lip.

"For all my traits and the legends about it, I am not a Succubus. I do not have the hungers she does...she devours humans...and yet she refuses to simply consume you and move on." A pause again, she tilts lowers her finger from her lip. "That does not seem insignificant."

Thomas Blake has posed:
Thomas Blake taps the table. Tap. Tap. Tap. "I'm not talking about love. But what good is love if there is no common basis? If there is no respect, if she thinks she can treat me like a pet or a snack?"

"Don't trouble yourself. I've gotten more concerned about this for a while. Before you came along but yes, I think you do call to the immortal part of her. Anyway she likes my taste. Why kill the goose that lays the golden eggs?"

"With all the advantages that her kind in tempting humans and leading us astray, I wonder why they haven't won hands down by now... they haven't yet, right? I know now... they're conceited and... everything they touch turns to crap as a result of that."

Saeko has posed:
"I would not presume to know on any of those counts," Saeko speaks, recieving her drink and raising it to her lips. "You two were together before we crossed paths, and I'm sure you should, and will talk it out..."

A little turn of her form, she raises her glass to her lips once more and ponders. "I am not a demon, and my time and station as a Tenko make me...something else. I punish the wicked as she does, but I also reward the just, the innocent and those in need. A creature of a different heaven, it is hard to know exactly why they fail at what they do. Perhaps it is merely a universe seeking balance...or their own conceit and flaws as you say."

Thomas Blake has posed:
Thomas Blake spread is hands as if to yield. "I have an in depth but narrow knowledge of the field to be sure. And no depth of knowledge about fox spirits. She probably told you I have a temper. I'm coming back to the Griffin in a few days. Maybe we'll see what happens. Maybe she'll burn it to the ground. Maybe she'll kill me. We'll see. I'll put your lunch and whatever else you want on my account. Thank you for your concern." He stands and puts on his jacket, grabs the briefcase. As he passes he rests a hand on Saeko's shoulder gently and bends over to kiss her cheek. "May I?"

Saeko has posed:
A little shake of her head, the Fox smiles lightly. "It's payed for, I promise..." she offers for the mention of the paying, the Tenko smiling a little and turning her head to offer that cheek, but her own mouth turns to peck his own cheek now. Lazily turning to watch him retreat, odds are she'd simply be 'gone' once he left the room, but she does at least hang back to watch him leave.
