Cast of Characters: Helena Bertinelli, Harper Row

Helena Bertinelli has posed:
A small little convenience store on the corner is still busy despite evening descending on the area. One man runs the joint from the counter and is checking out customers as quick as he can. It's cramped corners in the small store, but that's okay for everyone honest. "Here's your change," he tells one of them, "Next." A couple steps up to the counter but they don't have anything to purchase so the store clerk looks at them strange, "Need some help?" he asks them.

The blonde woman smiles at him and brandishes a small little gun, still small enough to put a hole through the clerk, "Hands up, where I can see them," she tells him carefully. The man throws a small bag on the counter and the blonde woman motions to it, while the man turns around with a knife to threaten the small line of customers, "Nobody move."

The Huntress is downtown once again, because she keeps running into trouble in this part of town. She leaps across the roof and onto another. She's across the street from the tiny little Grab-N-Go and pauses with a frown when she hears a scream.

Harper Row has posed:
Having had plans to respond to police calls, Harper is carrying her kit in a backpack while also patronizing the ill-fated Grab-N-Go for cereal which that Cullen had listed on the 'Gotta Pick Up' list. She was getting ready to go up front with the thieves appaoroached the counter and responding by slipping into a blind spot in the mirrors.

Out comes the armored vest and goes on to be covered with her blue jacket and the hair is tosled so that the purple under color becomes predominant and then she puts on the tinted shooting glasses to 'hide' her face.

Then there's the scream. (Oh no, there's an innocent bystander too!?) she thinks as she re-evaluates the situation, moving so she can look to scope out the lay of the land at the front of the shop.

Helena Bertinelli has posed:
The shop clerk frowns over this situation, and hesitates so the blonde woman raises her voice, "Fill the bag, already!" she yells. The clerk opens the register. A woman in line has screamed as the man grabs her arm and threatens her with a knife, "I said shut up. One of you is gonna get cut. I can feel it, at this rate." He seems rather strong, and he holds her tightly while he calls her names. Both the blonde woman and the man are at the head of the line at the front of the store, next to the door outside. It is a very small shop and anyone can turn from the door to the aisles very quickly.

Huntress has come down off the roof and crossed the street, hiding herself behind a tree while she thinks about what to do. She glances again at the Grab-N-Go, and sizes up the situation. With only one door, it's going to be hard getting the drop on these robbers.

Harper Row has posed:
A man with a gun and a woman with a knife at her throat. Harper doesn't see how she'll get the drop on the pair of hoodlums. Not being ambidexterous she realizes she's not going to be able to get them both with her stun guns (Wouldn't it be great to have the rail-stun-gun up and working?) but that's still her best option so she inches forward while pulling out one of those guns.

Realizing that she's right next to the first aid supplies, Haper grins as she stands up holding her tazer gun in a solid two handed grip. Pitching her voice a bit on her own (no high tech voice-changer tech here), she says, "Let the hostage go and step outside and make better life decisions." After which inwardly she's kicking hersel for the stupidity of her word choices.

Helena Bertinelli has posed:
The clerk has just about finished loading the money when Harper interrupts. The blonde woman spins around and looks down one of the aisles, "Who said that? You're not in charge!" she yells, "Put your hands up or we'll start cutting people! How about that, huh? You wanna get CUT? Come out!" she lets out, running to the next aisle to find Harper.

The man lets his partner carry on and raises his knife to cut the woman in his grasp but pauses as he looks to the blonde woman for permission. Huntress slowly moves next to the door, pausing there out of sight while she listens to the situation, while waiting for an opportunity to do something about it.

Harper Row has posed:
"Sure," Harper says cockily to the blond woman, "Come and cut me."

However, she notices the man's hesitation and shifts her aim toward him. Addressing the woman in his grasp, she orders the victim, "Go loose!" and pulls the trigger, aiming over the woman's shoulder at the knife-wieldiing man's own shoulder.

The darts and wires snake though the air at the subbordinant man's body, preparing to discharge a stunningly painful quantity of volts and amps into his flesh.

Helena Bertinelli has posed:
The blonde woman squirms away from the man just as Harper shoots him and fills him with ZapZap electricity. "Ahhh!" he lets out. He falls to the ground and clutches for air. The woman easily finds Harper now and smirks, "Think you're smart huh?" she mutters, aiming the gun at Harper.

Just then, Huntress busts in from the front and a crossbow bolt JAMS into the blonde woman's arm with a THWACK! OUCH! The blonde woman cries out now and falls to her knees, dropping the gun she was holding on Harper. Huntress frowns and looks at Harper, checking on her, then as the blonde woman moves, she kicks the woman in the head. Ouch #2. "Everyone alright?"

Harper Row has posed:
Harper's stun gun, upon her triggering the button to retract the weapon's darts, beings to softly whir as the cables begin to coil back into their housing. She grabs a first aid kit off the store shelf as she nods to the /actual/ vigilante.

She mouths "that's the Huntress" to herself as she moves over to the victim whom she asks, "Did you get hurt?" as she kicks the knife away from the subby-tough and kneels down on his chest to check the woman for any injuries.

Helena Bertinelli has posed:
The blonde woman has been kicked rather roughly by the Huntress and seems out of it, but NOTE: she's not dead. Her head is bruised and she has a piece of WOOD sticking out of her arm, so she's bleeding all over. The man can't see straight and Huntress looks down on him while Harper checks on him like an actual concerned person. Huntress grinds her boot into the man's hand but he doesn't really react, "They're out of it," she reports helpfully.

Huntress frowns as Harper jumps in to attend the two criminals, "They're not dead," she adds. She points at the clerk, who seems shocked at what's happened in his store, "Call the police," she tells him.

Harper Row has posed:
Having confirmed the victim wasn't hurt, Harper looks up at the Huntress and asks, "I guess this is when we get out of dodge?" as she stands up. she looks to the senior vigilante, apparently for guidance, from behinid her tinted shooting glasses.

Helena Bertinelli has posed:
Huntress looks at the door then back at Harper, "Smart decision," she says. She motions to the door and leads the others outside, slipping a little tracer on Harper for later investigation. She smiles, "Good work, Miss. Excuse me," she tells her and quickly leaves.

Harper Row has posed:
Harper, looking around for a moment, departs as well. She takes a detour two her bus stop to fix her hair, put away the shooting glasses and her taser gun.

As she gets home, the forgotten cereal comes to mind and she facepalms. "Cullen's going to be upset not having his preferred breakfast now," she chastizes herself.
