Alexis Carr has posed:
    There is, in the apartment, a baby grand piano. It's not mentioned, but it's there, and Allegra Caradenza -- Alexis -- was playing.

    "My lover's got humour, used to giggle at a funeral -- to everybody's disapproval. Should've worshiped him sooner. If the Heavens ever did speak, he is the last true mouth piece, every Sunday's getting more bleak with fresh poison each weak -- we were born sick, heard them say it--" atop the piano was the mail. Warning about Mutants. Hate mail from former co-workers and admirers who knew she was sleeping with the enemy.

    The piano piece becomes a little more complex

    "Our church offers no absolution -- tells me worship in the bedroom. The only Heaven I'll be sent to is when I'm alone with you -- we were born sick, but we love it. Command me to be well."

Samuel Guthrie has posed:
Sam Guthrie comes in from his classes, and at the song he will raise his brow, walking over to her. Once he is near her, he will lean down to kiss her cheek, so he does not interrupt her playing. He then rubs her back with one hand looking over the mail frowning a bit but continues to rub her back softly.

Alexis Carr has posed:
    Alexis gives a smile, leaning in against Sam as she sings "Take me to church -- I'll worship like a dog at the shrine of your lies. I'll tell you my sins so you can sharpen your knife. Offer me sweet Death instead, Good God, let me give you my life--" she sings quiet, and she leans her head against Sam.

    "You know, I thought I would be over this by now." she mutters to him.

Samuel Guthrie has posed:
Sam Guthrie nods his head and says "I wish I could make it all do away love." He tells her. "With you coming back into the public eye it may get worse before it is better, but you know I am with you on it hon." He will move a bit to sit beside her on the bench so she can rest against him more. "Maybe some of them just don't know better?

Alexis Carr has posed:
    She continues to play, her fingers running over the keys as she considers her lover. She gives a small smile over to him.

    "Just think about when I come out as a mutant. In public. I'm pretty sure my dad with have a conniption." she gives a small smile as she looks to Sam, and leans against him.

    "We'll get through it." she comments quietly. "We always do."

Samuel Guthrie has posed:
Sam Guthrie looks over, and says "I am sure, he will say you caught it from me somehow." He smiles at her, and says "With you and me side by side, we can get through anything love." He looks over and says "Oh, I was wondering you want to start some classes with lower income students? I was thinking maybe some from Bushwich, and a couple students from over at Happy Harbor."

Alexis Carr has posed:
    "I know, Sam, I know." the dark-haired Alexis gives a smile, her fingers pressing on the keys, changing the music. Something classical. Liszt or Chopin.

    "If there's enough interest in some students from Happy Harbor, I'd happily travel over to give a lesson or two at the school. If they'd have me." she grins.

    "Mean ol' anti-mutant person that I am."

Samuel Guthrie has posed:
Sam Guthrie looks over and says "Well the two I talked to, one was a student out at Xavier's but was not the right fit for her, she changed to out there. A bee girl, who seems a nice kid, and her roommate is interested as well, roommate wants to be a jedi it seems." He smiles over to her and says "And considering both know I am a mutant, think they may think you more a mutant lover, but might want to be cautious they did shoot a bully in the nuts with a blunt arrow in archery class."

Alexis Carr has posed:
    "I like them immensely already. Bullies deserve nutshots with blunt arrows." Alexis comments, giving a grin and biting her lower lip.

Samuel Guthrie has posed:
Sam Guthrie smiles and nods his head a bit and says "I promised Dyani a bit of flying tricks, and Madison was curious about flying so took her up for a spin." He grins and says "Both are sweet kids, and think dancing lessons might be good for them." He admits. "So, what have you been up to today?"
