Synopsis: Elektra puts June up to following someone, who turns out to be a vampire. And June finally becomes a hero vigilante.
Cast of Characters: Elektra Natchios, June Connor

Elektra Natchios has posed:
Night time.

And as per usual Elektra had given no indication on where she was tonight, or what she was up to. At least until a message comes to June's phone:

> I need someone tracked tonight. Places where they will be, who they talk to. You are not to engage and consider the subject extremely dangerous. <<attached there's an image of the man: https://i.pinimg.com/originals/52/46/17/524617fc81a0a24f2290c10717f4d549.jpg>>

> Last seen inside the Hellfire Club. He has Mercedes Benz S580, Euro plates, currently at the Club's garage.

And that's it. No more info about what's going on. Yet considering how sparse Elektra has been on getting June to do work for her it does seem that it is quite the important thing that she's asking.

June Connor has posed:
June was JUST about to get into the club when her phone went off. Not Hellfire Club, though. "Fuuuck." She was already dressed up and everything!

"What's wrong?" the random stranger who had already been putting moves on her in the line asks.

"Ah, gotta go do some shit. See ya," she grunts, dipping out of the line under the rope without another word. Hellfire club. She looks down at her club garb, a black tight dress with fishnets, and a red plastic looking jacket.

She makes her way down the street, the small purse she carries has a few smoke pellets, two kunai, and a pair of brass knuckles along with a lighter and makeup. She's not really prepared for a mission. At least her heels are low ones. Probably not going to have these by the end of the night.

> Like, right now? I don't got much on me.
> He's kinda hot, ex-boyfriend?

Elektra Natchios has posed:
> Yes, right now. It's important, and for once do as I tell you. I mean it when I say that man is dangerous.

The question about being some ex-boyfriend is ignored. Not that it really looks like Elektra's type! But what's even her type anyway?

The trip to Midtown isn't one that takes long. The district where the Hellfire Club is. It's quite the posh area, a rich neighborhood for sure. And the Club itself? It even looks richer. There are various fronts to it once June gets closer. The large building of the club itself, then some peripheral restaurants that also belong to it but are open to anyone and also the private area where valets are seen parking cars of various personalities. All top-shelf cars of course!

June Connor has posed:
June's trip to the HFC is indeed just a few blocks. Midtown is already popular this time of night, and despite her outfit, she doesn't really stand out, she's hardly the only girl who's dressed for the club on a Friday night. She steps up to the Hellfire Club. As many who live their lives in the underbelly of New York, she knows what this place is. It's hardly just a club. She frowns, and takes out her phone.

>OK, here. Never actually been in this place, though. I don't got shit info on how to get in, dun think they gonna let me in the front door.

Elektra Natchios has posed:
> Of course you haven't. Though did I forget to mention I am part of the Club's board of directors? My bad. Just approach the garage area.

A look towards the area and a valet can be seen looking around the area. A valet that sets his gaze on June, studying her for a few moments before making a motion for the girl to approach.

It does seem Elektra's influence in the club is big indeed.

June Connor has posed:
June rolls her eyes. "Board of directors. Of course you are," she mutters under her breath. "Why the hell wouldn't you be?" She glances over at the valet, and her heels clack on the concrete as she walks over, confident and casual, pocketing her phone without sending back a response.

Elektra Natchios has posed:
The valet in question is large. Looking more like a bouncer than an actual valet. Sharp eyes and a pair of keys in his hands that he smoothly proffers towards June once she is close. "Your car is ready, Miss." he tells her, accent and tone surprisingly eloquent, "Lot 45C." he gestures for her to go in before his attention turns to a car approaching to park and he starts walking that way.

And so June is left with an open entrance!

June Connor has posed:
June doesn't question it, she instead just takes the keys, "Thanks," she accepts them, instinctively tucking them into her fist with the keys poking out between her knuckles. She takes in the peripheral view without turning her head, lest she look too suspicious, and eyes dance between the parking spaces, she pauses, and turns toward the counting direction toward her 'car'.

Elektra Natchios has posed:
A few other valets are seen moving back and forth, either parking or getting a car out for someone leaving. It's not exactly the most busy of places at this point of the night just yet but there's always some movement. One thing that can be noted in that garage is that *every* car in there is a top of the line. Mercedes, BMWs, Austin Martins... A King's bounty if one had a penchant for stealing these! Of course that the consequences could be dire...

Following the numbers eventually the 45C is found. And in it? A Taycan 4s. Again, certainly not a crap car. Curiously enough the car that Elektra mentioned on her messages, of the man she wants June to track, is a couple of places down. Still empty. Good news perhaps! It means the target is most likely still inside.

June Connor has posed:
"Hello." June taps the fob's unlock, and the doors click open. Not what you're here for, June. She spots the Mercedes. Eyes shift back and forth. She really wants to take that 4s. She starts to walk toward it, and opens the door, looking in. She looks at the Mercedes. Elektra might actually kill her if she just takes off with this car. She sighs, and closes the door again, re-locking it. She pets the roof. "Soon," she promises. "I can't afford any more enemies at the moment. She drops the keys into her purse, and takes another breath, blowing her hair upward. So the Mercedes is here.

    >Car is still here. Heading in.

If he isn't out here, then he must be inside. She starts walking toward the interior entrance, just as if she belonged there the whole time.

Elektra Natchios has posed:
That 4S is tempting, isn't it?! Checking inside one can note the full tank displayed on the dashboard. It's all ready to go too.

Just as June turns to begin her way to the club the elevator doors open up, that 'ding' following it and the sound of steps heard before a trio is seen making way to that zone. Flanked by two women is a tall man in a tuxedo, his arms around the waist of the two women who walk with a touch of a wobble to their step. And are they a bit pale? Maybe.

The man speaks up, "Ladies, I am very much enjoying this party. But how about we turn it a notch up?" his tone smooth, smile confident. Oh yes, he seems that he will be scoring tonight ... Or something. He also is dreadfully alike that picture Elektra sent June. The man continues on, towards that Mercedes and clicks on his keys for the electronic lock to open up.

June Connor has posed:
"Dammit, I didn't even get to get any appetizers," she grunts. Clearly the more important part of the mission. June turns back to the car, getting low, and crouches back toward the 4s, waiting by the door for the sound of the car doors of the Mercedes opening so that she can unlock it simultaneously. She looks through the windows of the car, waiting for the moment.

Elektra Natchios has posed:
No appetizers for June. But it seems Kraven, aka the man June is following, will be having a few. On the backseat. The electronic lock opens up, sync'ed with June's, apparently he not making note of the sound. He opens the door for the ladies, letting them go in before stepping into the Mercedes. For some reason he looks awfully happy, and not exactly for the women with him. An eagerness to his eyes, almost as if plans were coming to fruition.

The engine roars, being turned on and then the car takes off, all the way to the exit and then out, onto the streets of New York.

He is on the move.

June Connor has posed:
June slides into the 4s driver's seat. Has it been mentioned she doesn't have a driver's license? Well, at least this car is an automatic, not like the last one she tried to drive.

The Porsche purrs to life, and she pulls out, the brakes hitting a little hard as she stops to put it in drive. "Fuckin' A," she grins. Her foot hits the gas a little heavy, a slight screech on the pavement, and follows out after the Mercedes. Blinker? Nah. Headlights? Where are they? Forget it, it's NYC, it's bright enough out here.

Elektra Natchios has posed:
Nothing like breaking every driving code on those first tries out. But at least the car is moving! Unlike the last time June attempted such a stunt... Now, would this car be also rigged to explode like the other? Who knows! Elektra probably would.

Kraven's car comes out of the garage, window fully open, one arm resting on the window sill. Oh yes, he's certainly enjoying this night. In fact he looks almost .., ecstatic. A laugh echoes in the air (besides the engine) as he turns to start accelerating down the road. It's a mercedes, meant to go fast after all!

The large guy that had given June the keys earlier looks warily as he spots the way June is coming out of the garage. "Good luck.." he mutters to her, making sure to step out of the way fully so as to not get hit.

June Connor has posed:
"Thanks babe," June offers back to the large guy as she hits the street slightly too hard, scraping the bottom of the front bumper on the concrete. "Shit, this thing rides low." She can do this, she's played Gran Turismo. The Tycan's kick lurches forward as she hits the gas. That's not an accident.

"Wooo!" she exclaims as she pulls around a cabbie who honks as she slips back in front of him. "Fuck you bitch!" she laughs, throwing a middle finger back at him. She lets off the gas a little, no point in overshooting her target. It's not a car chase, June, calm down.

Elektra Natchios has posed:
The guy by the garage door winces at the front bumper on the concrete. Ufff. It isn't looking good! But nothing he can do now. He will just have to tell Elektra he did eeeeeverything as Elektra asked him to do. Not his fault if people can't drive!

Learning to drive in New York traffic is certainly a test of fire. But hey, learn to drive here and you can drive anywhere! So maybe it will work out. If the Tycan doesn't get crashed somewhere. Still, with how expensive it is most likely has some good security too. Airbags! And all that jazz. The cabbie still offers June with a pair of light signals after the honk, some gesturing out the window but eventually calms it up.

As for Kraven? He continues driving, taking a few turns here and there and beginning to drive into the more degraded neighborhoods. Ones that June will know well in New York. The large avenues give way to shorter roads, a lot less illuminated too. Alleyways, some people visible here and there on corners selling dope..

It's not too hard following the car now, it going slow. Real slow, and from time to time it's visible that he's leaning towards one of the seats. Kissing one of the girls? Maybe. Eventually the car comes to a stop near a large warehouse-like house. A couple more cars are near. Also high-end cars.

June Connor has posed:
June pulls off the busier street, following behind her target. "Fuck, you take a ride like this in here? Fuckin' street gangs will take you out, dumbass," she criticizes his discretion. Of course, she's also driving a car that doesn't belong around here. She doesn't try to find the headlights still. letting the Porsche stay dark behind Kraven might be the best idea anyway.

A pothole. Oops. "Damn, this is what they talk about needin' the roads fixed," she comments. She never really cared much before, she wasn't ever driving.

She crawls along behind him, looking at the speedometer. "Dammit, why can't you drive faster?" she complains. She wants to go fast. But alas, she'll just have to deal with it. Work first. She dodges the next pothole, and slows to a stop about half a block back from the parking spot, right in front of a fire hydrant. Hey, it's the only spot available.

She narrows her eyes as she squints at the parked cars. "The fuck?" She opens the door to the car to exit the vehicle. But she doesn't lock it. Anybody in this neighborhood would be crazy to break into a car like this that's not locked. Why? Because we all know, if it's not locked, it's part of a deal, and if you interrupt somebody's deal, you are going to probably die. So an unlocked sports car is probably the safest vehicle in the neighborhood.

June sheds the red jacket. It's too noticable. Of course, that means her shoulders have to deal with the chilly November air, but she'll live. Wouldn't be the worst weather she's had to deal with. It's tossed into the Porsche carelessly, and she shuts the door quietly.

Elektra Natchios has posed:
Yea. No thug worth their salt would be going to assault a car like that. At least wouldn't if they didn't see whoever is coming out of it. A nice little crumpet of a girl? Well... "Hey girl..." a voice behind June once she is finished tossing the jacket inside the car.

"Took a wrong turn somewhere?" It's a pair, dressed with hoodies and jeans. One with the hands in his pockets and eyeing the car while the one talking is looking at June, "We can help you go back to your turf." he offers, the smile telling that his ideas of helping may be a bit different than the normal. The other speaks up, "Yea, never know the kind of bad people around looking for an easy mark like ya..." smile showing rotten teeth. Eewww.

The sound of a car door closing is heard, along with a giggling laughter that's most likely one of the girls that was with Kraven.

June Connor has posed:
June turns, and looks back at the two. She gives them a once over, and then looks at her shoulder, a signal for them to do likewise. The Hand tattoo. She knew there was a reason she kept it around. "Surely you're not that green," she says with a smirk of her pierced lip. "You really want to play games with the Hand? Ask your boys what they think of that idea." She starts walking away again, expecting them to back off, though her ear is still trained behind her as she continues on her path toward the sound of giggling.

Elektra Natchios has posed:
"Heh?" One of them is either hard of sight or doesn't realize what she is talking about. "Listen here, girl.." he steps over to try and grab her. Violently most likely! But then the other guy holds him back. "Wait, man. What the fuck, look at that mark.." He looks again, eyes then going wide. Well, fuck...

The two step back, "Hey, we will keep your car real nice. Fend off anyone that tries to take it!" all too eager to please now! But seems like June is off the hook with these guys.

The small distraction with the thugs means that Kraven has moved inside the house, just the sight of one of the girls moving in with him. As for the other? No where to be seen.

Or .., is it her inside Kraven's car? Not that she is moving though. Silence abates on the place as June makes her way closer. A two storey warehouse. A dim light is seem from a few windows now, indicating that someone has turned on the lights inside. But from afar no sound can be heard of what's going on in there.

June Connor has posed:
June pauses, ready to react to the first goon when the second stops him. She lets the discourse happen between them, and smiles. Man it feels good to do that. "Good choice. I don't forget people that do right by us," she offers a compliment for the offer to guard the car. She glances back at the entrance. One is staying out here? She glances at the car, then back at warehouse, then looks back at the two thugs. "Got another offer for ya," she says, looking back at the two. "You guys know how to jack a car?" June needs a distraction. She pulls out her phone, and sends her location to Elektra.

>Stopped hre going in *thumbsup thumbsdown emojis*

It bothers her that one is staying outside. The setup didn't look like that kind of situation. Which means...there's not an orgy that's going to happen here. It's something else.

Elektra Natchios has posed:
> K. Need to know what they are doing inside. Just be careful.

The two men look between themselves briefly, then back to June. "We sure do?" they approach again, looking around and then back to June, "What you got in mind?" one asks. He frowns faintly at noting all the high-end cars here. Yea, there's some warnings going now. But he's still listening at least. "And what's in it for us?"

Inside the Mercedes the woman's head thumps to the side and against the window. Did she just fall asleep? Or what's going on?

June Connor has posed:
"Shit." June turns quickly. "OK. Need you-" she points at the one who was the wiser of the two initially "-to get the bitch in that car. And don't...you know, perv on her." She knows what their tendency would be with an unconscious girl. "The fucker in there is on my shit list. After that, you can have his car," she gives a wink. "Get her ass in my car." She starts to make her way to the warehouse, slipping a smoke pellet from her small handbag to have at the ready. She stops, adding an addendum. "Unless she's like, dead and bloody all over the place, then just trip their alarm and bug out. Go to 233 Marion Drive tomorrow and tell'm Karma Toll sent you, then get ready for the big leagues."

She doesn't wait for an answer, but runs as best as she can in the party dress and shoes, making her way to the warehouse door.

Elektra Natchios has posed:
The two goons look between them, then to June. A frown again. "Yea, this shit better be worth it.." they aren't like this much anymore. But .., they do it, making way towards the car and quietly starting to open the door. It's unlocked of course. Kraven doesn't care. The girl nearly falls against one of the men. "Shit, not sure if she breathin' no more.." one says, then the other. "And what the fuck is it with the paleness? Probably OD..."

But hey, corpse or not they drag her out quietly, starting to move her toward June's car.

Approaching the door doesn't take long, nor opening it. Just the faintest of sounds of joints not well oiled enough. Peering within there's a corridor with some light in the end, it opening to a larger room. A laugh is heard from inside, along with Kraven's voice. "It's all good. After tonight we will be in business, gentlemen. And no more need to have these hidden meetings..."

June Connor has posed:
June takes a glance back to make sure the goons are following through with their end. Suckers. Who knows what's at that address, but that's something they won't know until tomorrow. Attention back on the task at hand, she can figure out what that's all about later. Hopefully she'll have someone to question.
June slides in, checking for her potential exits, and goes up near the corridor. She opens the recorder on her phone, and turns it on to record what's heard, then crouches by the hallway entrance. She pulls her makeup mirror out, angling it around the corner to get a view on what is happening.

Elektra Natchios has posed:
Not much in way of other exits. Unless going up, considering the corridor is made of joint containers rusted with time. And from there maybe access to the top windows. But it would take some acrobatics for such!

The men continue to talk now, discussing business details. Drugs, women trafficking, guns. Pretty much all those big things that give big bucks. At least considering the sums they are talking about.

With the mirror June can spot the trio of men. Two of them she may even know about. Notorious dealers in New York. They seem to be smiling alongside Kraven. As for the man himself he keeps one arm around the girl, possessively, she barely moving at all right now.

"And as an offering...." He pushes the girl forward briefly, "..., some of the finest to taste in New York. There's more where this one comes from. And I know just where to get them." a smug smirk on his expression. "You may take her along with you." strangely enough the girl doesn't even fight it or say anything against this, simply stepping forward.

June Connor has posed:
It doesn't actually surprise June. She's been in that very situation. You don't fight in that moment. You lose if you fight. She reaches out toward her phone, sitting next to her on the floor. She should tell Elektra...

She pulls her hand back. Nope, she's gonna do this her way. She's going to have to go off script. For the moment, she just waits. It's not time to strike yet. She angles the mirror around, looking for what weapons she can identify, if any.

Elektra Natchios has posed:
Bulges on the two men with Kraven are visible under the jacket. Pistols most likely. As for Kraven himself it doesn't seem as if he's carrying any. Is that a good thing though? The dim lights inside the warehouse don't allow for much exploration, at least without getting nearer. But here and there one can find either a metal pipe, or some discarded piece of iron. A couple of dislodged bricks are close by though, a lot more accessible than the metal pieces which are beyond the gathering.

The two men look between themselves, then at the girl. "Looking forward to some good business then. And don't worry, we will make sure to take good care of your merchandise." the girl stopping, eyes turned low.

Kraven then takes out a phone, looking at the screen. "Mmm, let me see. Only a few more hours to go. I have places to be gentlemen. If you will excuse me...."

June Connor has posed:
June picks up the phone and shoves it in her purse, still recording. That was a short meeting. She slips off her party shoes, they make too much noise, and tucks herself up and into one of the containers in the hallway, hoping to conceal herself fully before Kraven gets back in this direction. Once she's in, she pulls the phone back out, stopping the recording and tossing a text to Elektra.

> Traffic. Targ lvin 2 mor in w1 grl.

When she's in a hurry her shorthand gets a little sloppy, hopefully Elektra can piece it together.

Elektra Natchios has posed:
No response comes to the message sent. Is Elektra taking time to decipher it? Well, from the app it seems that the message is still unread. Odd.

Footsteps are heard going past the hiding place where June is even if they eventually come to a stop. An hesitation? He paused near the crates. A look around, nose up in the air but then he continues on his way outside to where his car awaits. And the girl not being there....

A couple moments later the two men are moving as well, talking between themselves. "Are you sure about this deal? It's like we are selling our souls to the devil." the other then replying in a mutter, "Literally." the rest of the conversation fading as they continue along.

June Connor has posed:
Using what training she has in stealth, June slows her body and breath to be almost non-existent. Remove your presence, that's what they taught her in the Hand. While there are those far better at it than her, she seems to have done it enough, and as she hears him exit, she takes in a breath, and lets it out. Only seconds before the target realizes that something is wrong. Will he come back in here?

June calculates the options. If he came back in here, he might look bad to his business partners. He'll probably start looking around...fifteen seconds of confusion at least. Then search surrounding area. Did those knuckleheads get the car? Uncertain. Will he search as far as her car a half block away? Uncertain. Or he'll just leave, if he has another enemy he would suspect. That'd be fantastic if that was the case, but far too unpredictable. No, she needs to know what he's doing. Leaving the shoes behind, she climbs out of the crate, and slides back into the shadows. Save the girl? Uh...

She glances back at the girl who is in danger. Not the mission.

(It could have been you, June. It was you. No, it wasn't, you had the balls to kill the guy they sold you to. She's gotta make that choice). She moves to leave, looking back at the window. It's not her mission. Why does she feel horrible about leaving?

    Reassess.

Ten seconds are gone. Five seconds of confusion remain. Secondary targets leaving. All three cars were in the same place. How do you get that girl out? You don't, June. You can't get her without blowing your cover. June's face contorts. She really wants to scream obscenities right now. Best case scenario? Target sees his car leaving, and is too focused on chasing it. Worst case scenario? Those junkies get caught, and rat her out. Several other possibilities.

June pulls a kunai. This might get really ugly in a second.

Elektra Natchios has posed:
Those two men don't even seem to pause by June's hiding spot when they go by along with the girl they bring with them, she walking obediently along, drone-like almost. Eventually the door opens up and then closes once again.

Time goes by. As for Kraven? He hasn't returned to the warehouse at all. Has he left? Who knows.

June Connor has posed:
Once the two men leave, June immediately follows after them, as the door is closing, she picks up her pace on her toes and sliding out the door just as it closes. Moment of truth, is Kraven out there? She draws her second kunai, a punch grip on both of them, ready to strike if there's trouble on the other side of the wall.

Elektra Natchios has posed:
Following the small group is a risk. A dire one really. One look back and all would be lost. Door opens, the two men step out and then the finally the girl with them. There's a split of a second there in which the girl seems to glance over her shoulder. Making eye contact? Maybe. Not that she speaks up or alerts the rest to the presence, continuing on...

And just the door is to close June slips past. Kunais at the ready? Yet there is no Kraven waiting for her. His car is still there though but no sight of him anywhere. The two men continue to walk towards their cars, a brief exchange as to which one of them will bring the girl.

Eventually one of them laughs. "Fuck it. Keep her." they start going to each of the cars.

And still no sight of Kraven. Or the two thugs that June had 'hired'.

June Connor has posed:
This is...bad. She'd almost rather he was right there so she'd know where he went. Odds are they are ratting her out right now to him somewhere just behind a corner. It's time to act. June has no problem with lethal force, and immediately takes her advantage to leap upon the one who is taking the girl. There are few places that can truly immediately silence a person without a sound. One is at the base of the skull, a target available to her.

Her kunai strikes with her full force, seeking to enter and cut off the spine at the brain stem and bring the man to a full and immediate collapse, even if it does cause a little convulsing. With a little luck, they will both drop to the other side of the car before his friend sees, giving a small window to reset, even if he does detect that something just happened.

Elektra Natchios has posed:
The Kunai goes right through, the man only registering a brief expression of surprise before he slides forward and falls with small 'twump'. The girl? She looks at what just happened, the glazy look on her eyes keen for a moment, lips parting but then nothing, she returning to the same placid expression. It's clearly not a normal reaction.

A more normal reaction has the other man who was about to leave, turning, "Speaking of....--" he pauses when he can't find the other guy. "Frank?" he draws out his gun. "What did you to him, bitch?" the gun heard being primed and he pointing it across to the girl.

June Connor has posed:
June stays low, as the rescuee takes the attention as the man takes aim at the girl. She leaves the first kunai in the victim, and then does a full 360 rotation around, away from the girl so that she comes up facing the man at a 45 degree angle away from the girl, and she throws the second blade toward him at center of mass. She doesn't depend on the most pinpoint of accuracy as some more skilled might be able to make a shot for the throat. She wants to make sure she hits, and no sooner has she thrown the blade than she is leaping with a foot first slide over the hood to follow it up with a kick to his groin.

Elektra Natchios has posed:
As the girl doesn't answer the man just shrugs. "Have it your way..." finger on the trigger and ..., it's right when June's other knife hits, making the shot go astray and instead of hitting the girl's head it grazes her shoulder, making her spin and fall to the ground. "What the ..." he exclaims, turning towards June. He's a solid man, tough, most likely raised in the streets before having become a notorious drug dealer. So the kick, while good, doesn't hit him squarely, honed street instincts having him turn to the side so the blow is mostly on the leg..

Not that it doesn't hurt. In fact it's hurting, alongside that damn knife on his arm!

"Who the fuck are you?" He aims a punch at June, powerful and fast, ".. some no name vigilante trying to save little girls?" he smirks. "Maybe I will take my time killing you."

June Connor has posed:
Wait, is that what she is now? A vigilante? Dammit! The punch strikes her across the jaw pretty directly, spinning her around. She uses the momentum to complete the rotation, hand catching his pistol hand. "Good, cuz I won't take my time killing you," she answers, her other hand coming across to slam into a pressure point in his wrist, a disarming move for the gun that could cause her to be holding it as it flips around. Only she's not interesting in simply holding it, just getting it to face him and then pull the trigger a few times.

Elektra Natchios has posed:
The man wasn't expecting that quick comeback with the disarming strike at his gun. And with his arm being weaker due to the knife sticking from it he winces when that pressure point is punched the gun leaving his hand. And then falls back with the gun shots!

Some dogs bark in the distance, some people closing windows at shots being heard. But this is a tough neighborhood, it happens pretty frequently so there isn't much in terms of people coming to look. And the cops? They will probably take their time coming..

With the man dead there's only the girl left, on the ground and holding her arm, pain written on her face.

June Connor has posed:
June gets a better grip on the gun as the man falls back, and once he's on the ground she gives him another to the head for good measure, just to make sure he's not getting back up. She bends over and pulls her kunai free, wiping the blood on the man's shirt before turning around to ghe girl.
"Fuck," she grunts, tentatively touching her cheekbone. "That hurt. You okay?" She looks back, seeing the gunshot wound. Looks non-lethal, but still, most people aren't used to getting shot. "We gotta ghost this place," she says quickly, giving little bedside manner for the injury the girl took. "Where's that asshole you came here with?" she asks, rounding the car to retrieve her purse which was flung free during the fight, and move to get the other kunai.

Elektra Natchios has posed:
The shot appears to have snapped the girl from whatever was keeping her so placid and unresponsive. Drugs? Or something else? Still, she is holding on to her arm and struggling to get up when June speaks up about the *other* guy. Her eyes get panicky, she looking around. "We need to get out of here.." she says quickly, then starts repeating it, taking a few steps to June to grab her with her uninjured arm. "We need to go. Now!"

She doesn't wait long and starts to run to the end of the street to get out of there. High heels aren't that great for running so she tosses them away in the process.

June Connor has posed:
"That's what I said," June agrees, as her arm is grabbed, she looks down. "So move your ass, we can mess with your shot later. "The porsche is mine," she says, "Get in!" It's a good thing Tychans are sedans. She can ask questions once they are on the road. She looks around, though. There's still the problem that her target's car is here, her makeshift hire of goons are not, and the target is not. He has to be around here somewhere. She keeps the gun at the ready, a far more controlled run toward the car, also sans shoes.

Elektra Natchios has posed:
Reaching the car doesn't take long. Too easy even. It's what is seen there that's another matter. The girl shrieks at something when she takes a turn towards the exit of the street, right where the Tychan is, eyes wide in alarm. It's only when June takes that last turn that it's noticeable what it was. The door is open. And the girl that was supposedly within the car already is nowhere to be seen, even if there's a blood 'path' that leads further away.

"THIS is your porsche? What the fuck?" The girl is nearly panicked, looking back and forth between June and the car before she spots a figure further down the street. It's hard to figure out who it exactly, being in the dark, yet the build and longer hair gives hints of it being Kraven. As for the other man? Suspiciously similar to one of those 'thugs' June had hired. He's holding the man up effortlessly but his face starts to slowly turn to the car when he hears the girl shrieking.

"Oh shit, oh shit..." The girl exclaims, throwing herself into the car, "What are you waiting for?!!"

June Connor has posed:
"Holy shit," June takes a moment to stare at the blood path. "Those fuckers," she spits out, tracing the view up to the target and the thug. Well, that's a bust. Time to leave.
June runs to the car, opening the driver's side and jumping into the vehicle. "Think you could do a little more fuckin screaming?" she growls as she hits the button to turn it on. "There's a chance he might not have heard you." Sarcasm is a great emotional defense mechanism.

Elektra Natchios has posed:
"Think you could be a little faster getting this car running instead of complaining?" Yep, great defense mechanisms all around now. The girl has slid over to the backseat, in a sort of sprawling/sitting position, looking over the rearview window as the figure turns fully to them.

"Where are you going?" It asks, voice mellodious, enticing, a contrast to the menacing visage it offers. "We have much to talk about.."

And he starts walking towards the car. A walk that is just about to turn into a run when the car starts up.

June Connor has posed:
"Sorry, I'm all out of fucks to give," June answers Kraven as she throws it into gear with one hand while her left hand holding the gun also holds the steering wheel. She slams on the gas. The torque causes the wheels to spin, screaming smoking rubber as they make traction to the road, and it lurches forward to start down the road.

Elektra Natchios has posed:
No more talking out of Kraven when the car kicks it into high gear. Instead he starts running. Fast. And as the car lurches forward down the road there's the sound of a hand scraping the rear bumper as the vampire attempts to take a hold of the car. He misses by just a wee bit though, his handsome features having turned hateful, briefly visible in that rearview mirror on the Tychan. The girl on the backseat screams once again.

Yet even as Kraven looks so close of taking a hold of the car to climb up it eventually starts going faster than he can run and he eventually disappears from that rearview mirror.

Safe at last?

June Connor has posed:
"What the fuck?" June's eyes betray her worry as she spends more time in the rear view than on the road. "Fuck fuck fuck!" As Kraven finally loses pace with the car, June turns her eyes to the shrieking girl. "Shut the fuck up before I dump you right the hell out of this car!" she yells with a voice far louder than her size would suggest she's capable of. "Who. The FUCK is that, what is he, some freak of nature mutant? Science experiment, robot or something?" She doesn't slow down as she reaches the next intersection. Gotta just go fast!

Elektra Natchios has posed:
"I have been shot and you are threatening to dump me out of the car?" The girl asks, incredulously. Not that she ever said thanks to June about the young Hand operative saving her behind from a rather gruesome destiny. She's more worried about survival right now!

"And I .., he said he was called Kraven. We were just having a good time at the club, you know, some dancing... He was sort of handsome but then I am not sure ..., it all turned into a haze. I was with Candice too." she looks around, blinking, "Where is she? Did you see her?" perhaps now realizing she had a better fate than her friend. "And *who* are you? Some kinda vigilante hero? Shouldn't you have a mask?"

See? Second time tonight she's called a vigilante.

June Connor has posed:
"Uh, yeah I dunno about Candice. Had some guys supposed to put her in the car when I went in to get you, Think they be dead, can't promise any good news for her. And I'm not a fuckin' hero. I'm just a dumbass who doesn't know when to mind her own business apparently." She glances behind them again, then forward. Red light. She slams hard on the brakes, revealing her lack of experience driving, and the car comes to a screeching halt a full car length back from the line.

"Look, check the glove compartment, maybe there's a first aid kit or something." Did Elektra include one? She reaches under the driver's seat to see if one is there. She looks at the gun, and flips the safety on, lest she end up shooting someone unintentionally. "I just got hired to follow him, didn't think I was gonna be fighting anyone. What's your name?" she asks the girl.

Elektra Natchios has posed:
The girl screeches again, a tumble heard on the backseat at that hard brake-slammin', "And that apparently can't drive either.." she mutters. Yet now that the car has stopped the girl has a little time to breathe. A little time to understand what went down. And how she was inches away from dying back there. "Look, thanks." she finally says, now a bit calmer, starting to look around and under the seats. A first aid kit is found under June's and then the girl starts fiddling with it.

"I'm Dawn." A pause, "Well, my actual name is Lucy but you know how it is.." a small lift of her non-injured shoulder and she begins by first opening the kit and then starting to clean the wound. She's efficient. Clearly not her first rodeo in getting hurt.

"I am not going to hang around, gonna disappear." She says, "Don't want that fucker finding me again. You should do the same if he saw your face. That .., whatever he did wasn't normal."

June Connor has posed:
"Yeah I disappear a lot," she says. "Not worried he'll find me." That might be a little bravado, but it helps June feel better to pretend it's true. "Okay Lucy, I ain't callin' you by your hooker name, what did he do? Like, a drug, or some device or something?" she asks. "I gotta tail him, so that means I gotta go back." She suddenly remembers her phone. She pulls it out, checking to see if Elektra has read the last message.

Elektra Natchios has posed:
Dawn, aka Lucy, will swear she took no drugs. She has an eye for that kind of stuff. And the Hellfire club is strict about such, if any of that kinda stuff was found inside whoever did so would be in big trouble. Which is a mystery all on it's own on how it came to be. If it was normal stuff they were talking about!

Trailing back to where Kraven left the car will show that it is no longer there, and no traces of it anywhere. So any thoughts on tailing the man further tonight evaporate. What is left though? A recording with Kraven dealing with those drug dealers and ...

... no indication of Elektra having even read that last message. Whatever is she doing?
