Ikaris has posed:
The Life Elixir.

Also known to the humans as coffee. Even members of the secretive and isolationist Eternals faction of the Forever People desire the stuff, since not only does it taste pleasant, the feeling of caffeine is largely ineffective, but a fun sensation. Helps to feel normal too amongst the humans, largely ignorant of the larger world that lay at their doorstep.

Ikaris is one such Eternal.

Dressed in casual clothing, that being a flannel shirt and some jeans, 'Ike Harris' approaches the counter and orders his coffee. Those with tuned senses (or happen to be close by) hear his order: Coffee, black. He speaks with a slight accent.

Robert Marksman has posed:
Robert Marksman had to make a trip up state for a convention, and on his way back, he thought a bit of coffee might help keep him alert, so finding a spot he pulled in, and walked inside looking for a place. He heads to the counter waiting his turn to order.

Ikaris has posed:
The line isn't waiting long, since it's a simple brand of coffee to make. The liquid heaven in a cup is handed over to Ikaris, who nods his thanks to the clerk and turns around immediately, nearly running into Robert, but managing not to. He looks at the man a moment, as if he senses something within him, before he nods ever so slightly.

"Sorry about that. Excuse me."

He attempts to move around him towards one of the corner booths, pulling a newspaper out of a pocket and giving it a good read.

Robert Marksman has posed:
Robert Marksman steps aside to let the man by. Robert may look like a thug but he seems to have manners at least. Once the other is past he will step up ordering his coffee and a couple of pastries, before finding his seat at a table near the booth, pulling his phone out as he sits.

Ikaris has posed:
Ikaris hums as he sips some of his coffee, flicking the newspaper as he reads something. "Every day, more death and famine." Ikaris mutters under his breath no small amount of times. "Perhaps one day they'll learn." He's been saying that for a fraction of the millenium. Maybe they never will.

But one can always hope.

He notices Robert take his seat at a table near the booth, and seems to be watching him ever so subtly. His senses were sharp, and there was something about Robert that he hasn't sensed in a long time. Almost 1,000 years.

Robert Marksman has posed:
Robert Marksman looks over to the man after a few moments. He seems to have noticed the watching but gives it a minute to make sure it was actually happening. He then turns to look over at the other man and says "Is there something I can help you with?" A brow raises behind those sunglasses.

Ikaris has posed:
Ikaris smirks at Robert, shaking his head. "Nothing you can probably help me with, no. Just seem unique, if that makes sense. Probably just a figment of my imagination." Ikaris replies to Robert, eyes slowly returning to the letters of the Newspaper as he sips at his drink.

"Forgive me if I was staring." He later adds, though his eyes do not move from the newspaper as he converses with Robert.

Robert Marksman has posed:
Robert Marksman 's brow stays raised a bit but he says "Well I would hope I am unique, but you may have seen me in the papers at one of the charity events I have went to." He offers trying to figure it out a moment.
