A Lunch meeting.
Date of Scene: 01 April 2020
Location: Sailor Pub and Bar
Synopsis: And the two share a nice talk.
Cast of Characters: Robert Marksman, Jennifer-Lynn Hayden

Robert Marksman has posed:
Robert Marksman is in the pub here for lunch. The place is packed today, but some how Robert got a decent sized table to himself. He has just ordered something and getting his drink, about now. There are a few empty chairs at his table.

Jennifer-Lynn Hayden has posed:
Jennie-Lynn Hayden is not a mutant, which makes her feel like an impostor in Mutant Town, but there just aren't many other neighborhoods where a solid green chick doesn't get stared at, so that's that. She pulls her ID out of her purse when asked to and is denied the stamp that would allow her to buy alcohol, which is fine because she doesn't like alcohol anyway. Mineral water is more her speed, which she judges herself slightly for. It feels bougie but damn if it doesn't just satisfy her more.
In any event, she places her order and is guided by a waiter to sit at Robert Marksman's table.

Robert Marksman has posed:
Robert Marksman looks up and the waiter asks the both if they would mind sharing a table as they both are alone, and there no other tables. "Please have a seat, he says too Jennie, what guy would not want to have a lovely lady join him for lunch. I'm Robert by the way.

Jennifer-Lynn Hayden has posed:
Jennie-Lynn gives Robert the once-over to assess whether he's a threat while smiling to distract him from the fact that she was assessing him. "Hi. I'm Jennie-Lynn." It's kind of a white trash name; it's like a rule that any woman whose name has a hyphenated -Lynn attached to it must be one baby daddy away from appearing on Maury Povich, but she gives the name without shame. She keeps her eyes on her tablemate as she stores her purse on the floor between her feet, ankles lightly squeezing it to keep her peripheral awareness on its weight and shape. "What's good here?"

Robert Marksman has posed:
Robert Marksman looks over and says "I normally either do a burger and fries or fish and chips. The whole sailor motif I think they make sure that is on to better side of the menu. I would stay away from most of the soups of the day." He offers with a smile and while he looks a bit swarmy with his sunglass on inside and all, his mannerism seem friendly enough.

Jennifer-Lynn Hayden has posed:
Jennie-Lynn nods. "Are you just familiar with the menu here, or is that your opinion as someone who cooks?"

Robert Marksman has posed:
Robert Marksman says, "I come here for lunch when ever I am doing a shift over at the clinic, the good, I have tried, the soup of the day is the advice I was given here my first time here." He offers."

Jennifer-Lynn Hayden has posed:
"Clinic? Which one is that?" Jennie-Lynn asks, eyebrows slightly raised. Her interest has been aroused.

Robert Marksman has posed:
Robert Marksman thumbs to his right "Few blocks over is the Free clinic, I try to put in a couple days a week there to help out, but classes and residency keep me from putting as much time as I would like. Might could get it counted in the residency but got a feeling that would just cause more trouble than worth trying

Jennifer-Lynn Hayden has posed:
"Yeah? Hey, what is residency about, anyway? I hear it on TV sometimes but never know what it means."

Robert Marksman has posed:
Robert Marksman smiles a bit and says "Basicly when a doctor is doing his thing but is still new at it. You do a residency so other doctors can keep an eye on you till they are sure your not going to be a screw up and hurt people when actually dealing with people

Jennifer-Lynn Hayden has posed:
Jennie-Lynn nods in understanding. "Kind of a training wheels situation?"

Robert Marksman has posed:
Robert Marksman nods his head and says "Basicly yea. Normally might not be helping in a clinic but the one here needs all the help it can get. So, what do you do if I may ask."

Jennifer-Lynn Hayden has posed:
The right corner of Jennie-Lynn's mouth quirks back in a little smile. "I make videos online. Monetization pays for some of it but mostly, I'm funded by private donations," she explains.

Robert Marksman has posed:
Robert Marksman ahs a bit and says"Patreon and the like?" It seems he knows a bit about that. He does not assume the worse even if she is a mega hottie. "So what kind of videos you do he asks, trying to keep his mind open."

Jennifer-Lynn Hayden has posed:
Jennie-Lynn smiles brightly as if she didn't notice the underlying leer and explains, "Personal vlogs, really. I look at beauty tips for non-humans, try to post some socially conscious stuff to show solidarity with people that must be working because the trolls really hate that, and occasionally video essays about my favorite things to watch."

Robert Marksman has posed:
Robert Marksman hmms and nods a bit to this and says "So, video personality your plan for the future, or are you hoping for something else?" He noticed the reaction to clini and that has him wondering some.

Jennifer-Lynn Hayden has posed:
Jennie-Lynn smiles and spreads her hands in a little shrug, palm up. The right palm's white and green starburst birthmark stands out starkly against her moss-green skin. "It's paying the bills and delivering a message people need. I don't know if I can keep it up forever, because everyone gets old and stuck in their ways, but for now I want to try. You plan to be a doctor forever?"

Robert Marksman has posed:
Robert Marksman says, "Well doctor, scientist. I am planning on working a specialty in cybernetics to help people who have a need for them, be it those who have lost something or those who just need help to have a decent life from the assistance it would give."

Jennifer-Lynn Hayden has posed:
Jennie-Lynn nods. "You think cybernetics will be a growth field compared to genetic engineering and cloning technology?" she asks. "Prosthetics versus organic replacements?"

Robert Marksman has posed:
Robert Marksman says, "In a way yea, Prosthetics will be more for those who can not afford the other, or sadly for those who are afraid of people messing with their genes. I don't expect to make a fortune there, but I think will help people who need it."

Jennifer-Lynn Hayden has posed:
Jennie-Lynn nods. "Yeah, fortunes are for patent holders," she agrees, matter of fact, and checks her phone. "Ugh, where's my sandwich? It was nice to meet you, Robert, but I gotta run. I'm gonna go see about my lunch. See you around."
