Born in the 31st Century to the daughter of Barry Allen, Jenni Ognats carries on the legacy of the Speed Force. Only having awakened her powers in her middle teenage years and having had no other living speedsters to mentor her, Jenni took several years to get herself up to a point where she could manage her speed well. After she did, however, she joined the Legion of Super Heroes and worked with them to keep the Galaxy safe. However, an unknown mission has left her stranded in the past with only fuzzy memories of events that brought her here. Though her money's on the Time Trapper playing shenanigans.

Personality

Even Tempered:
Jenni grew up fairly normally. While she knew her mother and some family members had been superheroes, none of them were alive in her time period. Thus she grew up with her dad in a reasonably normal household for the 31st century in a loving household. She isn't particularly quick to anger and two years of working in the Legion of Superheroes have done away with any nervousness she once had.

Meticulous:
Before Jenni gained her speed and her life moved to a different track, she'd been studying to become an archaeologist, and she's even continued to do some of that work on the side even after becoming a member of the Legion. As such, she's picked up the habit of being meticulous about details when needed if she knows a task needs to be done, she will take extra time to make sure it gets done...though these days, that 'extra time' isn't always as burdensome as it once was.

Slang:
Jenni grew up speaking Interlac, and thus even once she picks up any modern Earth languages, her go-to word choices for metaphors and colorful language will likely sound rather odd to most modern ears. For example, the most commonly used mild swear word is 'grife', roughly occupying the same linguistic space as several different swear words in English, though it's relative severity is usally discerned by context. Also a moderate insult would be to call someone a 'nozzle' or a 'squaj'.

Powers

Accelerated Healing:
Jenni's connection to the Speed Force supercharges her healing ability, allowing her to heal minor injuries in moments, and devastating injuries in minutes. This can sometimes be an issue as she must make sure any breaks get set before they begin to heal wrong lest she need to have the bone rebroken.

Enhanced Perception:
Like other Speedsters, Jenni is capable of processing information at incredible speeds, allowing her to think and act normally even when moving at speeds that leave the rest of the world as relative statues.

Legion Flight Ring:
As a member of the Legion of Super Heroes, Jenni wears on her right hand a standard-issue Legion Flight Ring. It serves several functions such as communicating with other Legion rings, providing a basic environmental shield to allow the user to function in hostile environments such as space, and, as it says on the tin, the power of Flight. Jenni GENERALLY uses that last function the least, as she's capable of running VASTLY faster than a flight ring allows.

Speed Force Aura:
The Speed Force provides a protective aura around Jenni, protecting her from the effects of air fricton while moving, reducing the shockwave she makes moving through air to a miniscule fraction of what it should be, and even protecting her from many relatavistic effects of moving at C-fractional velocities such as time dilation and percieved mass increase.

Super Agility & Reflexes:
Jenni's ability to balance and co-ordinate her body are enhanced to superhuman levels, allowing her to maintain her relative balance no matter what direction she is running, even up and along walls. Similarly, her reflexes and abilty to react allow her to go from a resting stop to superhuman motion in apparently no time at all and vice versa. The two abilities combined serve to make her harder to hit, as they allow her to dodge much faster than normal.

Super Speed:
Jenni, as a granddaughter to the legendary Barry Allen, has a direct connection to the Speed Force through which all true Speedsters channel their powers. Thus, she is able to move at speeds far beyond that of sound and into the modest C-fractional range. Sadly, by the time she gained her speed, there were no other true Speedsters still around, so her growth as a Speedster has been rather hampered without the kind of institutional knowledge that most other Speedsters get having been passed down to her. Now that she's in a century with several other speedsters, however, she'll hopefully begin to start filling in those gaps.

Super Stamina:
Jenni's connection to the Speed Force continuously empowers her and along with her accelerated healing serves to constantly refresh her stamina, allowing her to run and move almost endlessly as long as she has the resources to do so. Thus, so long as she hasn't dehydrated (which takes much longer due to her powers vastly reducing her need to sweat) and isn't suffering from extreme hunger, she can run for incredible periods of time without pause.

Skills

31st Century Education:
Jenni grew up in the 31st century rather than the 21st. This puts her knowledge of basic math and sciences VASTLY ahead of the current average. Unfortunately, due to an unnamed disaster some time in her past, most of Earth's history was lost, so she only knows history in the broadest strokes possible.

Archaeology:
Jenni trained as an archaeologist, and she therefore knows how to walk a site and setup a search and dig. She's been shown that the skills involved are rudimentarily parallel to crime scene analysis, but she has not yet had time to learn that skill.

Hand-To-Hand:
After joining the Legion of Super Heroes, Jenni went through basic Legion Martial Arts training to get her 'up to snuff'. Since said training was run by Val Armorr (a martial artist so talented that he not only could, as an unenhanced baseline human, easily operate on a team built to deal with Galactic-Level as a respected and even feared member all while rocking the name 'Karate Kid'), it counted for a lot despite it's brevity. While in a standing fight, she's far from a match for most heroes and villains who make martial arts a major part of their skillset, she's easily on par with many normal people considered 'well trained' in fighting. In addition, Val made sure to teach her how to modify her strikes so that she can deliver them with both speed and precision....allowing her to do things such as deliver flurries of blows to unenhanced humans WITHOUT hitting them hard enough to turn them into paste.

Resources

The Flash Family:
Marooned out of time, the only real resource Jenni has access to is her interpersonal connections with most of the Flash Family. Barry Allen is her Grandfather, Bart Allen is her cousin, Wally West is her First Cousin Once Removed, etc.

Weaknesses

Dimensional Connection:
Jenni's powers are derived from her connection to an extradimensional force. It is possible (though difficult) to directly disrupt or supress this connection, at which point Jenni is reduced to her baseline human abilities.

Emp Vulnerability:
Electromagnetic pulses negate his ability to vibrate, so under the right circumstance, someone can potentially trap her and she has no recourse.

Extreme Temperatures:
Certain weapons or traps that operate at extreme heat or extreme cold can have adverse effects on her Speed Force abilities. Cold tends to slow her down while extreme heat can make her powers erratic and fluctuate wildly.

Interlac:
As the song goes: 'Jenni has a handicap to cope with, sad to tell o/~ She's from the future, and she doesn't speak the language very well~' In this case, the only real language that she knows is interlac. On the plus side, it's been an intergalactic lingua franca for long enough that it's common elsewhere in the galaxy even in this time. Unfortunately, the number of people living on Earth who can speak it without mechanical assistance can be counted on the fingers of both hands with both the thumbs and a couple of fingers left over. She knows a FEW words of English from her archaeological studies, but until she gets some training, she's going to be at the 'charades' level of communication.

Woman Out of Time:
Trapped in the past, Jenni is ill-equipped to handle the day-to-day challenges that the average person in the 21st Century takes for granted. Cooking, shopping, going to a resturaunt, working a normal job, secret identities, the common ways that humans interact with each other...all of these things are so VASTLY different that Jenni for all intents and purposes is an alien on another planet.
