Otherworld

Otherworld is a dimensional plane formed by Merlyn and the Vishanti that joins this younger demesne with the realms of Faerie and Yggdrasil. The two islands of otherworld echoes the islands of Great Britain and Ireland, allowing the newly-forged Avalon to exist in close physical proximity to ancient Tir na Nog. Otherworld is closer to the roots of Yggdrasil than any other demesne and contains many hidden paths to and from the Astral Plane to Earth.

Otherworld is ruled by Morgan le Fay. The inhabitants of Otherworld are primarily warriors from the Courts of Faerie, specifically the armies of the Unseelie Court. The armies of Winter stand guard at the Outer Gates, ensuring that no monsters from Nullspace enters our reality. A garrison of Seelie Court warriors stands guard on Avalon in striking distance of the Unseelie encampment; their sole duty to be an armed deterrence to ambitions of expansion from Mab.

Gemworld is adjacent to this space and the harmony of that realm causes it to bleed into Otherworld periodically. Strict treatises between the occupants of Gemworld and the Vishanti allow this permeable border with minimal impact to either realm.
