Character Info
Profile
The, arguably, lesser known daughter of Thanos, Nebula is still notorious in her own right. A master
assassin who has, for many years, worked towards the convoluted goals of her father, she is well
known and dispised for her actions against civilized worlds. Wanted on some, feared on all, Nebula
is as her namesake.. a blackhole where civility goes to die.
Timeline
Timeline:
* 1997-2009: With most of her memories on her history erased after being taken by Thanos at a
young age, Nebula has little to know actually knowledge of her home, people, or previous life before
the War-Cult. She was created, not born, but it is suspected that she has (or had) a family. Thanos
is not as forthcoming with her about where she comes from, so much of it would fall on her to
research... And she doesn't care.
*2009-2016: Nebula is taken by the Warlord Thanos. Facinated by
her peoples ability to adapt and assimilate information and skills, she is shaped into a fiercely
loyal machine (literal) of war.
*2016-2018: Nebula acts as the primary assassin for Thanos,
killing anyone who stands in the way of her Fathers goals Life and Death. She absolutely does not
care what those goals are, they are not her own ideals or opinions, her only intent is loyalty... By
this point, much of her time is spent in fierce competition for his attention.
* 2018-2020:
Nebula gets tied into Ronin's plot for conquest at the orders of her father who is supporting the
campaign for his own ends. Nebula becomes the right hand woman of the Accuser for the end of 2018
and most of 2019 until she is captured by a Xandarian attack squad and placed in a Super Max prison
where she meets Drax in early 2020.
* 2020: Thinking she can use his blind hatred for Thanos to
get close to Gamora, Nebula helps the violent Drax escape prison and sets off to help his vengence
plot.

Personality
Flippant:
There was never any loyalty to Thanos, there was fear. He twisted her into a monster through
painful enhancements whenever she failed and tortured her mercilessly. A growing seed of resentment
has blossomed into a hatred that burns with the heat of a dying sun... even before actively working
against his goals she showed little to know inherent loyalty to her father, switching sides as
she thought the tapestry of the universe were finally shifting away from him... only to find herself
once again tortured when those goals failed.
The same can be held for anyone in her life.
While she's developed common alligences with others outside the framework of her past, they treat
her as an unpredictable variable. When she's around them, there's little she wont do to assist, but
the second something better comes along... Everyone is rolling their eyes expecting she'll jump
ship.
Hatred:
Nebula hates hard. As soon as someone crosses her there's no length she wont go to to ruin them.
And worse still, the measure of what she considers crossing her is hard to really know. Sometimes
she'll smile through a slight, and sometimes she'll react with blind fury at the smallest of
offenses. It is entirely possible she does it intentionally, however. Her responses with friends
is rarely as violent as it might be against true enemies, but she uses her reputation and nature as
a weapon to keep herself from getting hurt again.
Ruthless:
Nebula is an assassin, a pirate, and a machine. There are examples of her species who have
adapted to more demure lifestyles, but anything resembling compassion was programmed (literal and
through less savory means) out of her. That said, she holds a soft spot for children.. She will not
harm them directly, but such is the nature of her morality, she has no problem in causing them
problems through her actions (as in harming parents or destablizing their entire planets government
causing a war leading to mass casualties)... but at least she wont pull the trigger herself.
Character Sheet
Powers
Cybernetic:
In theory, this isn't a power, but Nebula can constantly upgrade herself.. Add new weapons,
skills, and programming to make her more dangerous. In reality, she's not /actually/ a robot,
however. She has thoughts and feelings, even if they've been mutated by her upbringing. She's
actually a cyborg, a mix of humanoid and robotics in a harmony of man and machine. She has
internal organs, but they're not biologically the same as other species. They can be easily
replaced, which makes her extremely difficult to kill unless something directly destroys her
brain or mandatory organs to sustain life.
Enhanced Agility:
Thanos was very particular with his enhancements of his daughter and has created the perfect
Assassin machine. She can move quickly, dodging in and out of gunfire to close on an enemy with
relative ease. Further, her brain calculates things at the same enhanced speed, so she has lightning
quick judgement and reflexes to dangerous stimuli.
Enhanced Durability:
Nebula is hard to hurt and neigh impossible to kill. Her skin isn't really skin, it's a thick
form of biological polymer that gives her some level of innate durability against bladed and
projectile weapons. Her bones have been reenforced with some of the strongest metals in the galaxy
and much of her internal organs are shifted around to protect them verses harm.
Enhanced Strength:
Through rigorous and painful enhancements, Nebula has a near superhuman level of strength. She
can flip, if not directly lift, up to a ton, but raw forms of strength really aren't her method
and most of her enhancement deals directly with use and need. If she NEEDS to be stronger, she will
be.
Regeneration:
With a host of upgrades and implants, Nebula is able to regenerate quickly from wounds that
might well have killed her otherwise. While she's difficult to hurt in the first place, the fact
that she can quickly get back in the fight through regeneration makes her almost monsterous.
Tools:
Nebula has a number of inbound implants that give her a leg up.
* Her left arm has an
inbound concussion blast generator that allows her to fire the beam from her palm.
* Light
emiters in her eyes allow her to see in almost absolute darkness.
* Recording implants on
her occular nerve allow her to project things that she's seen giving her a near total recall of
events she's physically witnessed.
Skills
Assassin:
Nebula has been trained for over a decade to become the perfect assassin. She can blend in with
a crowd, disappear into very small points of darkness, and move unseen in almost any environment to
get close to a target. When people think of her, they might not fear fighting her... but they almost
universally will agree that they'd rather see her coming than hear the sudden whirling of her hand
cannon charging when they don't.
Combat:
Nebula is the adoptive daughter of one of the most capable fighters in the galaxy and has been
trained accordingly. She might not be ranked as one of the best, herself, few would argue that she's
not a capable enough fighter to stand toe to toe with those who are. with her long list of implants
and upgrades adding decisive edge to her prowess, most knowledge beings in the galaxy would shirk
the notion of engaging Nebula in a direct physical confrontation except those who are particularly
insane or capable.
There's always a bigger fish.
Intelligence:
Implants, upgrades, and natural intelligence. Nebula is very smart and can do things in her own
head that most folks couldn't do with a computer in hand. This doesn't translate well to book
smarts of course, but she knows enough to survive in the galaxy.
Marksman:
Whether it's a handheld blaster or her the gun built into her cybernatic arm, Nebula can shoot a
blood tick off a Tak-tars fat ripple at a couple hundred yards.
Pilot:
There are few ships in the cosmos that Nebula cannot pilot, and well. She can also hot-start
them, run diagnostics, and repair damaged inbound systems on the fly.
Tactician:
Nebula is the daughter of Thanos, the former Right Hand of the Betrayer, and a mercenary. She
specializes in small unit tactical warfare against superior foes... and she's really good at it.
Resources
Contacts:
Over the years, Nebula has developed a long list of contacts in places where people just don't
usually go. She knows people in places of authority on almost every planet, whether they realize who
she is or not, and can get information through any number of brokers in seedier parts of the galaxy.
Cybernetic Arm:
Nebula's left arm has been completely replaced with a durable cybernetic replacement. This arm
is inherently stronger than her right, has a built in graple launcher, and most importantly,
concussion blast emiter. The hand and wrist can shift to become a canon firing highly concentrated
blasts of energy.
Cybernetic Eye:
Aside from increasing her visual distance and clarity, her biotic right eye acts a projector for
her stored memories.
Guardians:
She may well not be there most trusted member, but Nebula is still part of the crew (sometimes).
It's always iffy on what their relationship will be day to day, but largely they can count on her to
help them and visa versa.
Reputation:
Whether she still works for him or not, Nebula is the daughter of Thanos, and that means
something in the galaxy. For good or ill, people know who she is, and they generally respond
accordingly depending on their opinion of said warlord. Sometimes this is going to be aid, sometimes
this is going to be anger, it varies.
Resources Cache:
A decade of working for Thanos has left Nebula with a great deal of resources at her disposal.
This doesn't always translate to raw materials, however. Safehouses, weapons, hidden ships, and more
physical forms of resources have been hidden away in caches to be used as she needs them. She
couldn't retire on what she's spirited, but she could start building a very nice retirement for
later! Or start a criminal organization... or wage a war of vengence against one of the most
dangerous living beings in the known Universe.
Weaknesses
Angry:
Nebula is perpetually angry. Her body hurts, constantly, and she blames everyone for that fact.
Taking out her pain on people who had nothing to do with it, she comes off as abrassive and
generally isn't well liked because of it.
Cybernetic:
With all the benefits that come with being a cyborg, there are as many hardships. She is
/obviously/ inhuman and entire civilizations harbor no small amount of hatred for her type. Parts
can fail, break, or be removed and replacements aren't so easily come by. She's mostly machine, that
sounds nice on paper, but the reality is complicated.
Father:
Nebula is the daughter of Thanos and that comes with benefits... as well as hardships. People
dispise him, and because of this, often aim to take it out on his children. She welcomes the
challenge, of course, but inwardly hates it.
Pain:
Nebula is in a constant state of phsyical pain due to the torture and agonizing enhancements
preformed on her by her father and his people. She hurts from the moment she wakes from restless
sleep to the moment she returns to that painful slumber. It makes her mean. Especially when it's
particularly bad.
Sister:
While Nebula /does/ have a level of affection for Gamora, there's also a lot of old harbored
resentments. Sometimes they don't manifest, but sometimes she's in a spunky mood and goes on the
warpath for no predictable reason. People can call it sibling rivalry, younger child syndrome, or
just that Nebula is lowkey a psychopath.
None of these are untrue.

Dollhouse: The Incident (II) | July 30th, 2021 | The attack on the metro, an attempt to make more Inhumans for HYDRA to lay the blame on, to show them as 'monsters' who kill with their strange terrigen gas... has been thwarted. It cost SHIELD a hand to do it, and almost cost them Jessica Drew entirely.
