Julie Power has posed:
The noon rush has just ended when Julie Power makes her eay into the diner with its booths, steering towards the counter to order something. Stopping a moment she eyes the menu a little, then sighs a little before stepping into the line to order, her hands slipping into the pockets as she waits to get to the order station.

Jamie Madrox has posed:
For someone who is lots of people, Jamie does not necessarily enjoy being among a lot of people. So skipping the lunch buzz to go a bit later in the day is his MO, as well. He steps in just after Julie, and takes a place behind her in line. He glances up towards the menu, briefly, and then goes back to studying Julie. The superhero who was also a fan of Rahne.

Julie Power has posed:
Who Julie is should be somewhat obvious to Jamie, if he followed heroe news at least somewhat. Though the photos might not be always up to date... she was definitly Julie Power, Lightspeed, member of Power Pack (currently disbanded). And she orders fries with a cherry soda.

Jamie Madrox has posed:
Whistling softly to himself, Jamie lingers behind Julie as she places her order. He is wrapped up in a tan trenchcoat, his dampening suit underneath making sure that casual collisions don't result in more Jamies. "Cheese fries are killer," he offers as a suggestion from behind Julie, nodding towards the menu.

Julie Power has posed:
When the suggestion comes from behind, Julie turns the head, eyes shooting over his figure before offering a smile. "Oh! it's you! Jamie,... right?" she asks. "But cheese fries are all soaky. Maybe if I need something extra energetic." She turns quickly to pay her order, using the app, then stepping aside to give Jamie the chance to order.

Jamie Madrox has posed:
"And here I was thinking I was the one who always escaped attention," replies Jamie with a smile, nodding. "Julie, right?" He laughs a bit at her reference to the fries. "So, if you don't like, then maybe disco fries are the way to go." He nods to the counter, and places an order for a Big Belly Burger, a coke, and disco fries. "They kind of go beyond cheese fries and really hold everything together."

He considers her comment. "Do you need food to fuel your abilities?"

Julie Power has posed:
"You're right, Julie Power. And no, but fighting and healing is energy intensive stugff, so. Anyway, I am good with my fries and the cherry soda for the moment." Julie replies, waiting for her food to be delivered at the counter, giving the clerk a kind nod and smile once she gets it. "Did Rhane get home safely? I hope she didn't get into trouble..."

Jamie Madrox has posed:
"Suit yourself," replies Jamie with a grin. "But if you want to steal one or two once mine come out, you're more than welcome. I am happy to spread the gospel of disco fries." He slides down to the area to wait along with Julie. "No, she's fine. She knows how to take care of herself, and no one is super worried about it." He laughs. "Besides, how were they going to find out? /I/ certainly wasn't going to say anything."

Julie Power has posed:
Picking her tray up, Julie carries it to a booth, gesturing to it in an open invitation to sit with her. "That's good. I mean, she was super nice and all, and I would be dismayed to hear it got her into trouble. Might need to talk a stern word or three with people."

Jamie Madrox has posed:
Laughing, Jamie shakes his head. "Takes a lot to get in trouble there, trust me. I'd know." He collects his tray and moves along, accepting the invitation to join Julie at her table. He slides the plate of fries off and sets them between the two of them. A pile of fries, drowned in gravy, with melted cheese on top. "Have as many as you'd like," he says, taking a sip of his drink.

Shuri has posed:
You never know who's going to show up at some random place. Burgers sounded good today, and Shuri wanted something to eat. Big Belly was right there, so here she is. Not dressed like the Wakandan Princess she is, no. Rather, looking stylish with an overcoat, jeans, comfortable sneakers, a pair of sunglasses. Wakandan sunglasses with extra tech built in, but she never goes anywhere without some sort of connection to that side of things. No Dora Milaje, however. Her brother is the one who can't really get away from them. Not so much for her. She digs up a small datapad of some kind as she gets in line.

Julie Power has posed:
Offering a laughing headshake, Julie raises an eyebrow at Jamie. "Oh? What kind of stuff would get you into trouble then if not having people freak out at a dire wolf in a New York park?" she inquires, the head turning a little as someone else enters. "Hmmm, I have the vague feeling I know her, hmmm..."

Rahne Sinclair has posed:
The door to the burger joint open up as Rahna makes her way inside, she has a pair of head phones on and is listening to her ipod, which just happened to be the Michigan Dog Man song. She wipes some sweat from her ginger head and makes her way over to the counter and stares at the menu trying to decide what she want. After all the mutant need her food as her hybrid form consumes LOTs of calories. She decide to get the double patty burger with cheese, lettuce, ketchup and pickles with some steak frie and a large coke. She is handed the little marker that says this is who you bring the order too. She makes her way over to one of the tables and pull out her phone and begins to flip through it checking peoples tweets and her email. She pauses as she comes to a new story about a large dire wolf sighting and freeze. o O ( Oh Logan is going to give me a earfull)

Jamie Madrox has posed:
That question earns a laugh from Jamie. "Oh, trust me. I'm quite the mischief maker. It's amazing what you can do when you have a twin. Or twins." he glances up as Julie does and glacnes over, but he doesn't say anything himself. The next arrival, though, he is familiar with, and he sends a smile over towards Rahne if she happens to look his direction.

Shuri has posed:
Upon getting her order, Shuri looks over the top of her sunglasses at the redhead with the headphones on. Lots of open space here, so she came at a good time. If she wanted, she could just take a corner spot and eat unbothered. First, she at least takes note of who's around. The sunglasses connect to a database that includes any publicly-available information on anyone whose faces it can recognize, which can be a useful thing in a pinch.

Rahne Sinclair has posed:
Rahne Sinclair takes note of Julie and then waves a bit. She makes her wave over to the table and ask. "You mine if I set here Julie? Also it is good to see you again, since the park." The X-Men are usually good at keeping secret so the red head only register as a student at Xavier';s university for the gifted. Make of that what you will.

Julie Power has posed:
Julie Power nods to Rahne as she enters, waving to the booth to offer her to join, before she nods to Jamie. "I guess, but that doesn't answer the question. Anyway, I have the feeling that... hey Rahne, of course not. Take a seat."

After welcoming Rahne, she gets up to waves at the black woman, offering a smile from her position. "Looking for a seat? It's better to eat in company, if you want." And of course... the database pops up that she is Lightspeed.

Rahne Sinclair has posed:
Rahne Sinclair takes her seat and then pulls her earbuds out and stores them in her pocket before switching her ipod up. Yeah she could just use her phone but really the ipod is classic, like retro. She still thinks they are cool anyway. She checks her texts for a bit and then puts her phone away. "So how are you doing since we last met." She snaps her fingers trying to recall. "The part right. Yeah I was not wearing a jacket." Which is as much as she'll say about it. The news already covered the 1050 pound wolf stalking the park. Great.

Shuri has posed:
Shuri arches a brow behind those sunglasses. They're similar to what Ray-Bans typically look like, only a little more futuristic in appearance. Like a generation or two down the line. Then she removes and tucks them away. A PI, a student at the school she's heard of before, and a known metahuman. "Interesting group here," she says, her accent definitely African in a way. Probably not super different from Ororo's, if any of them are familiar with her. "Coincidence, or more planned?" she wonders.

Jamie Madrox has posed:
"Oh, sometimes the best questions go unanswered," replies Jamie, with a bit of a grin. As Rahne comes and joins, he nods towards his plate of french fries covered in gravy and melted cheese. "Please, have some," he offers to her, and then Shuri once she joins. "I don't do anything planned," he answers.

Rahne Sinclair has posed:
Rahne Sinclair burger arrives pretty soon since the lunch rush is over. She picks it up and takes a large bite out of it and chews it, she swallows and takes another bite out of the thick burger before sitting it down and picking up some napkins to wipe juice from her hands and mouth. She must be hungry but when one has the metabolism to support transforming into a 8 ft tall killing machine you gotta eat. "So how you been Jamie?" She takes her soda and takes a swig before picking up a few fries and chomping them down.

Julie Power has posed:
Julie Power offers a smile and hand as Shuri and Rahne arrive. "Well, interesting in some way. I'm Julie Power, that's Jamie, she's Rahne, and you are?" she asks with a smile, moving a little into the booth to offer more space to sit.

"I didn't plan to meet someone, but I did, so... why not sit together?"

Shuri has posed:
"That is not always a good idea," Shuri states to Jamie's response about nothing being planned. Just her opinion, her experience. With names given, she pulls up a chair and sets it at the end of the table, rather than sitting next to one of them. It provides a bit more room. "Well met. I am Shuri," the woman adds, preparing her food with a little salt and napkins before she bites into the burger first.

Jamie Madrox has posed:
While there is certainly political science taught at Xavier's Institute, Jamie is neither a professor nor a student, so he is not aware that they are joined by royalty. "Oh, I didn't say it was a good idea. I just kind of make it work that way, I suppose." He shrugs, and then looks to Rahne. "Oh, same as always. I'm busy fixing up stuff at the school though. There's some kind of issue with the pool, and I know how much it needs to be opened. Been working on it all day." He sighs quietly, and picks up a gravy-laden disco fry and pops it into his mouth. "I never should have accepted an actual /job/ there."

Rahne Sinclair has posed:
"Rahna Sinclair." She says between bites of food. She does pause for a moment as she recalls the name Shuri. "Aren't you the sister of T'challa? The Black Panther?" The new always likes to follow Wakanda and the royal family. "Didn't know we were sitting with royalty." Her head turns to Jamie and asks, "Oh what school you work at?" She doesn't think she has seem them at Xavier's school so she rules it out instant. She takes another big bite out of the burger and chews it before swallowing and then coughing a bit. Girl needs to learn not to eat her food so fast.

Julie Power has posed:
Julie Power whistles as the name comes, eyes going wide. "Shuri? That's a rare name. Like the wakandan Princess? Wait, you're about the right age... You are the princess of Wakanda, aren't you? That makeup is missing but yes! I sooo have to tell my brothers and sister that I had burgers and fries with the real princess of Wakanda!" She muses, offering a wide smile before taking a bite from her fries. "We teamed up with the Avengers and the F4 and Wolverine and like, I guess some other X-men, but I can't remember any teamup with a Wakandan Royal, and now I am having lunch with you!"

Shuri has posed:
This is not the first time people have gawked over who Shuri is, in some way. She handles it the way she often does, making little out of it. "We all have to eat, and I felt like having a burger today," she explains, giving the three of them a light, brief smile. "Yes, I am my big brother's better half. Whatever you see of him, I have probably helped make happen somehow." Much as it may sound like a boast, to her it is a simple statement of fact. "Some of us have helped offer assistance to mutantkind at one time or another. From what I know, there are some at Xavier's we are friendly with as well." This does not get into how much is known of the school, but chances are someone like her is more in the know than the general public.

Jamie Madrox has posed:
For a moment, Jamie blinks as he looks at Rahne. "/Your/ school," he says, and then he laughs, nodding towards Julie. "See what I mean? My power is being around and not being noticed at all, apparently." He grins as he swipes a french fry through the gravy, bringing it up to his mouth for a bit. He regards Shuri for a moment, and inclines his head politely. Not quite in a polite bow for royalty, but polite for Jamie. "Your highness."

He leans back in his seat for a moment, bringing the coke up to his lips. "Uh. Better half means something else here in the states," he murmurs.

Rahne Sinclair has posed:
Rahna blushes a bit and then looks down. "Sorry I just, well I never noticed you Julie." She coughs and takes a drink of her soda before coughing a bit and starting to finish off her burger.

Julie Power has posed:
Julie Power chuckles a moment, but besides the obvious excitement that she's eating with Shuri in person, there's less of an awkwardness from her than maybe others. "So, how is Wakanda? I heard you have one of the most beautiful cities there. Not that I could visit or even get into the airspace without allowance, but that would be super cool. Is it true that you have almost a monopoly on the world's Vibranium supply? I mean, of course that's true but I mean, that's what the books say, but they do overstate stuff all the time... Oh god, sorry, I must be asking you things everybody wants to knoww. You want to know something? As for better half, I guess she means the brains behind the throne. As we are at brains and Wakanda, didn't the City University get the chance to look at a wakandan battery to try and learn from the applied principles to get electric cars onto the streets faster?"

Rahne Sinclair has posed:
Rahne nods. "Yeah they do, the world knows it too but good luck getting to that with the Black Panther guarding it." She chuckles as she finishes off her burger. By now Shuri's glasses she finally have picked up on who Rahna is as a small file on Wolfsbane comes up and also a local wolf siting in a park. She is unaware of this going through the glasses of the second Black Panther. "So what is the food like in Wakanda, you guys don't have the major chain or do you eat all home grown stuff?"

Shuri has posed:
Much of the truth of Wakanda is still a secret to the world at large, but there are a few things that have given people reason to suspect otherwise. The Black Panther, for one. Whatever they've contributed to the Starport at sea, for another. And, there's just something about the royalty that goes beyond the reputation the small nation has pushed as common knowledge. Shuri plays it off that way. "We certainly believe our villages are beautiful," she says without saying much there. "And books can say a lot of things. I'm afraid I don't have any information about a battery, but electric vehicle technology is supposed to be changing the world for the better."

There is a glance toward Jamie at his reaction to the 'better half' comment and Julie's follow-up, and she gestures toward her with a finger. "Yes, of course that is what I meant. My brother is no dummy, but even he should admit I am his scientific better," she smiles, between bites as Rahne offers her view on the matter of vibranium. "There are some things our people have asked for, but our foods and things like that are very traditional. And," she adds, lowering her voice as if confiding in them, "There are reasons for us to be careful about what we share with the world. That is something my brother has been seeking to find a balance with for a while now."

Julie Power has posed:
"Ah, I see. Well, it's good you have interest in what the world can give to you and Wakanda, and if it is fast food to add to the banquet and all the other things. I mean, the world has to work together to make it the best possible place. After all, out there are things that are quite dangerous." Julie smiles, takign a few bites of her fries and taking a sip from the soda. "So... anything we can do to help you help Wakanda so you get your brother to help the world?"

Shuri has posed:
"And there are things we are trying to give to the world as well," Shuri allows, without going into further detail about it right this moment except to say, "The world is much smaller than some of our people once believed, and we must all find ways to keep it safe."

Now that she's finishing up her food and drink, she gathers the wrappers and such on the tray. "I'm not sure what things those could be at the moment. He and I speak occasionally about it. I'm sure when the time is right, we will all have a better idea. For now, I must be going. Perhaps we will cross paths again soon." She adds, for Rahne being that she caught some of that info about another form, "And if my information on you is right, you have a very unique and special gift. In some places, you would be worshipped for it." How the religious young woman takes /that/ is up to her.

Rising, she sets her glasses back in place and gives the three a last half-smile before dumping her trash and exiting.

Rahne Sinclair has posed:
Rahna finishes her meal and then sits and listens to she waves to Shuri as she leaves then looks at Julie. "Sorry I'm a little out of sorts right now..
