Nettie Crowe has posed:
THE THIRD FLOOR -- a space of working, labbing, and G G G GAINZ! Doest thou even LIFT?!

SKIPPING OF LEG DAY IS FORBIDDEN

OK, Nettie had some experience with physical health, and at the moment she was wearing leopard-striped tights, a sky-blue leotard, and a black compression top, with bright pink 1980's socks rolled and scrunched JUST SO.

Along with ahving a very large tome open in front of her, on the floor of one the weight room. Her gray hair today was GLORIOUSLY -- braided in its normal fashion.

Joshua Foley has posed:
It has been a weird day for Joshua. Between reconnecting with an old enemy turned friend and then ducking out a barroom brawl, he has more than decided he has had enough adventure for one day.

Having put his gear away in his room below, he came up to the third floor to check in. He's already changed into an oversized t-shirt and pajama pants to sleep in. The shirt advertizes the Natural World for Beginners - CRYPTOZOOLOGY and features Bigfoot, the Loch Ness Monster, Mothman and some alien looking thing. The pajama pants are just a pair of sweat pants.

Rifling a towel into his blonde hair, his golden skin stamds out on his frame, the young man tapping on the doorframe. "Miss Nettie, just letting you know I'm home."

Patience Alperen has posed:
Patience Alperen enters the designated 'workout' room dressed in a red tee with a wide neck that slips off her right shoulder to reveal a wide sports bra strap underneath. Gray workout pants floow loosely as she moves.

Pausing to see Nettie, she offers a smile. "I didn't expect anyone in here at this time of night. Hello Nettie. How are you?"

Pausing to reach up and tug her hair back into a high pony, she rolls a scrunchie off of her wrist and twists it around her hair a few times.

Charlotte Gage-Radcliffe has posed:
Charlie arrives down the block in an alleyway, not wanting to disturb the shop or anyone practicing anything sensitive in it. Her mode of transport can be jarring to those magically attuned she has been told more than once. It seems to finally be sinking in well.

She stuffs her hands into her hoodie pockets, and trudges down the street towards the shop. Ducking inside and then heading for the stairs up. She leans to glance inside the working space, taking a tempature read on the people present.

    "Who is the new guy?"

Nettie Crowe has posed:
"Patience! HOw *are* you duckie?" Nettie grins up at Patience with a bright grin, and straitens up, closing her book (which is in Anglo-Saxon), and looks around. "Thank you for letting me know you're back, Joshua. and --" she narrwos her eyes at the shirt.

"Mm. Nessie doesn't look like that." she comments, and then brightens, giving a wave to Charlie as she joins them.

"Ah yes, everyone. This is Patience Alperen, she is a wonderful fighter and incredibly knowledgeable in the ways of the Catholic Church, and also one of the wiser members of our enclave. Charlie Gage -- Miss Gage is the best and most skilled teleporter that I have ever met, and her powers are truly terrifying in their potential. Miss Gage, Miss Alperen -- this is Joshua Foley. He's a healer of the genetic disposition, and still getting used to all the oddities that we consider 'normal' in the group."

And she sounds rather proud. "He's progressed quite rapidly in a few weeks. So please, should you see him, do say hi."

Joshua Foley has posed:
"I'm going to have to get rid of my other shirts in the line, aren't I?" Joshua asks in some amusement. But then Nettie is introducing him to new people. He turns around, pulling the towel down from his blonde hair and notices Charlie first. There's a short pause as he mentally resets from whatever he was about to say and instead.

"Hi, Charlie." he manages, a little bob of his head in greetings. "I also handle shopkeeping and deliveries for Miss Nettie." he adds, before smirking. "What she means is I'm a mutant. If the gold skin didn't give it away. But teleporting? That's an amazing skill!"

He then turns his attention to Patience. "Is it Sister Patience?" he asks, clearly having grown up in some type of faith, one of the many whammies that came back to bite him when his powers came into bloom. "If not, it is nice to meet you, Miss Alperen."

Patience Alperen has posed:
Patience Alperen slows to stand as she listens to Nettie, her brown eyes looking to Joshua and Charlie. She offers them both smiles and nods welcomingly. "Hello it's a pleasure to meet you." A curious look is given to both then as she considers the details Nettie offered about them but then the expression turns a bit uncomfortable when Nettie shares with them about her.

"Nettie is generous with her descriptions" she says with a soft laugh before shaking her head to Joshua, "Hello Mr. Foley. No, actually I am not a nun. I did study but then.. the course of my life changed rather unexpectedly. I do.. consulting work for the Church but I am more of an independent sort these days. If you would like to talk more I would be happy to later?" Not wanting to take over the impromptu meeting with her own details.

"CHarlie. Teleportation? That would be very handy I must agree!" She doesn't seem to have a negative reaction for the detail that Charlie's powers are 'terrifying' to Nettie. Even if that means something significant.

Charlotte Gage-Radcliffe has posed:
The young, not quite a teenager anymore but still can't drink, member of the JLD has her hands still stuffed in her hoodie. She isn't kitted out in her bat gear, but rather the civvies that she always uses when visiting the shop or on Dark missions. Tough looking jeans, stompy black reinforced boots, and a wonder woman hoodie that is very well loved. She has a few things tucked in the hoodie pocket and a pair of orange lensed goggles are shoved up into her hair which is apparent when she moves the hood down like she has in here.

She nods "Hey new guy Josh. Healing is very useful skills to have around the way some of our missions go." her head bobbing. She seems genuinely chipper and friendly and not ominious or morbid despite the words used there.

To Patience, well she steps and vanishes in a slash of pink and purple smoke, appearing a heartbeat later across the room. This is the working floor so the bang of chaos magic to those with magically attuned senses is not too disturbing, the floor is made for not having everyone around the building hear mystically when magic is being practiced and all right.

"Yeah teleportation, though only myself and innanimates." she stresses that last part, and well it doesn't really explain the terror bit. She doesn't explain it either. People say that about her stuff but she hasn't really grocked why they talk about it like that personally. "I can work gate spells though for larger group transport and I've been learning other magic as well."

Nettie Crowe has posed:
Nettie gives a soft snort at 'Sister' Patience. "She's not a nun, poppet. And your shirt's fine, none of the bigfeet I've met have bald faces either. That Yeti though, one time... brrrrr." Nettie states in such a fashion that it's not immediately clear if she's joking or not. Given it's Nettie, it's a pretty even split.

"And I speak only the truth, Patience. The three of you are terrifyingly strong in your skills and abilities, completely envious." Nettie gives a small laugh as she goes to sit on a vacant and very old rowing machine.

"Healing is very useful, especially considering our line of work. I know Detective Chimp has a healer he sees on the odd occasion when needed. And I can do a healing spell, but it's an awful drain on me. NOt really my wheelhouse. Also tends to make me bleed from my tear ducts and that's horrible in its own right." NEttie reflects.

Joshua Foley has posed:
When Charlie teleports, Joshua is left to watch in wonder. "Whoa." he manages before he clears his throat. "I can't really demonstrate my skill." comes the admission with a darkening of his golden cheeks, but since Nettie is discovering his power level rather liberally with the two women, he lets out a breath.

"I could *possibly* resurrect the dead if I get to them fast enough." he explains. "I have not tried it yet, but I know I can at least resurrect myself." he says, his tone showing that he is speaking from experience.

He glances to Nettie, a hint of a thankful smile that she has yet to bring up the flipside of his powers.

Patience Alperen has posed:
Patience Alperen looks at Nettie with a roll of her eyes at the snort. "Your support is greatly appreciated, Nettie" she shoots back with amusement.

"I don't think my talents are slight" she agrees; but having others brag on her was not a thing she has gotten comfortable with.

"Healing is a great skill to have Joshua. I think that the League will greatly benefit from having you around. One never knows when a particularly difficult demon or corrupt attorney might get the best of one of us. Between you and I the attornies are the most terrifying." She's joking but with no less repsect for his powers.

But when Charlie teleports, she truly blinks and her eyes grow wide with amazement. "That is quite impressive Charlie. All of it!"

Charlotte Gage-Radcliffe has posed:
Charlie smiles brightly there at everyone. "Thanks." she thinks the teleporting is pretty cool too. Doesn't hurt to get some positive feedback though. "I got a lot of stuff to work on when it comes to magic though."

She looks at Joshua "Okay.. that is very impressive and powerful..." she leans against the wall she teleported over to there.

"It is easier to punch demons without consequences for sure."

Nettie Crowe has posed:
"It is quite easy to punch demons without consequences. Alas, there's always a consequence. Sometimes it's that you need to wash the demon off you before it burns through your skin and eats at your knuckles." Nettie remarks, and looks at her left hand thoughtfully, and then tilts her head to the side, stretching her shoulder out.

"Considering your experience and power, Patience, no, your powers are not slight. Everyone in this league is impressive. Or lese I wouldn't have them."

Joshua Foley has posed:
"Thanks everyone. I appreciate it." Joshua still seems just a little indsecure. He'll grow into it, hopefully. He nods to Charlie. "Yeah, I'm still exploring my powers, too. Though I'm sure I'm not magic." a small chuckle at that. "But maybe we can hang out sometime."

He quickly adds. "I mean, on missions and stuff." He suddenly finds himself stifling a yawn. "I should get some rest, it was nice meeting you both."

A quick smile to Nettie. "Night, Miss Nettie." he offers to her before he tosses his towel in the laundry basket to deal with later and head downstairs to sleep.
