Cast of Characters: Billy Kaplan, Bunny Macleod, Emiko Queen, Cain Marko

Billy Kaplan has posed:
Thursday evening at Starpower Publishing. And for those who are students, the new semester just started. The days are getting shorter, the evenings are getting cooler. It's time for many of the Young Avengers to cycle into a new season, literally and figuratively.

Tonight there is a spread available for anyone who wants to hang at HQ tonight. Billy's parents fund their fair share of the eats, and tonight they supplied a nice selection of pizza, wings, salad, vegan sausage stir fry, plenty of junk food, and lots of water, soda, and sports drinks. Even if every member of the Young Avengers happened to show up, there is way more food than they could possibly eat. So leftovers for days!

Billy is sitting at a table in the dining area. He's wearing his Wiccan uniform, though the hood is currently down, exposing his face and head. And what is this nerd doing? He's studying a Global Economics reading assignment on his iPad! And drinking black coffee.

Bunny Macleod has posed:
    For Days.

Bunny pokes her head in, hair freshly dyed that classic Barbie Pink, wearing a yellow T-shirt and pink skirt with lace trim, yellow-and-pink striped socks and a pair of skates with pineapples on them, along with a pair of batons tucked at her back. She'd announced she was going to try and get back to school to finish up her highschool degree and try to get to college in the Spring semester, and she gives a wave. "Hey, Billy!" she greets, skating in. "Oooh, what's the occasion? Is it someone's birthday? I would have brought cupcakes if it was a birthday!"

Emiko Queen has posed:
No one can pinpoint exactly when Emiko Queen showed up. One of the perks being extensively trained in the art of stealth, to the point one often doesn't even conscienceously try to do it and it just sort of happens. But it is evident when she is here, because she scoops up a slice of pizza as she strolls by the table and drops into an available chair. "Yo." Starts gnawing her way down the slice of pizza.

Billy Kaplan has posed:
Who can see Bunny in her incredibly original garb and not crack a smile. Billy's eyes glitter with warmth as he does so. "Hey, Bunny. No occasion. I told my parents I was gonna chill at HQ and they insisted on supplying a bunch of food." His smile broadens a bit. "It's one of the advantages of having a Jewish mom who is constantly worrying if her kids are getting enough to eat. Dig in!"

The young reality bender blinks a few times and furrows his brow. He seems a bit confused all of a sudden and he looks around the room like he's trying to find the source of something. "Does it feel cold in here?" The temperature has, in fact, dropped a few degrees.

He nods agreeably to Emiko Queen. "Hey, Emiko. I swear you're so stealthy you could sneak up on your own shadow."

Bunny Macleod has posed:
The shorter Bunny gives a squeak of 'NYEEEP!' as she jumps on her skates, and turns to Emiko with scowl -- and then a bright smile. "Hey Emiko!" she gives a wave, and sweeps herself into a chair as she grabs some pizza and wings and stirfy and -- look, she's a hungry girl who until recently was kinda crashing in the basement.

"... it did kinda get cooler -- I was gonna comment on the super efficient air conditioning but -- huh..."

She does not say anything about parents. That one's a sore spot.

Emiko Queen has posed:
Emiko Queen snorts softly at the Jewish mom remark. It amuses her a little, mostly in not being something she was familiar with on the front of parents.

A pause as she looks up from her pizza. ".. It does feel a little cooler, yes." Takes a few more bites of pizza. "If I was being seen before I wanted to be I'd be a poor former child assassin."

Billy Kaplan has posed:
Billy's smile broadens as he makes a clicking sound with his tongue and finger-guns Emiko once. "Now that's a reputation you do /not/ want getting around on the streets!" With a wrinkling of his nose, Billy rubs the sides of his arms with his palms vigorously. "Did somebody leave a window or somethin' open. Shit, it's cold." The magic-user stands up from his seat and now he can see his breath in the air. "Th'fuck," he murmurs to himself.

His gaze suddenly shoots toward where Bunny is sitting and concern overtakes his face. He holds one hand out. "To me, me, me..." With each utterance, the arcane energy that this future Demiurge wields gathers around him. Each syllable blends mystically into the next like the ringing of a gong, or conflicting ripples on a pond. But somewhere between moments of time, Bunny ceases to be lounging in a chair and, instead, is standing right next to Billy.

*thub* *thub* *thub* *thub* *thub* *thub* *thub* *thub* *thub* *thub* *thub* *thub*

The blunted, staccato noises sound not unlike one would imagine a sledgehammer hitting a leather couch cushion sounds like. And with each one, a figure appears from nowhere. They are dressed in blacks and grays, like soldiers or operatives. No trace of skin shows, they are covered from head to toe in futuristic materials and protective plating of some unknown material. Their belts support an array of ultra high tech gear of unknown origin and purpose.

Three of the twelve materialize right next to where Bunny was sitting. One of the figures glances down at some sort of palm-held scanner of some sort then looks up and points at Billy.

Bunny Macleod has posed:
Bunny breathes out, seeing her breath come in a little buff of a cloud as she narrows her eyes.

"That's weird --" she begins, a slice of pizza half way to her mouth before she's transported. She feels the ripple run through her, and then she moves to be standing, coming up on her skates as she blinks.

And like any good New Yorker she folds her pizza in half, stuffs it into her mouth, and pulls her batons out, standing in front of Billy.

    She's a Shield for a reason!

    "Shrbles frur!" <Shield's Up!>

Emiko Queen has posed:
A little chill is nothing much... but the persistance. That is... something. It's enough that, despite her outwardly casual dismissal of it, has Emiko's nerves twitching. "It's good for intimidating enemies," she remarks to Billy, but the wisecrack falls flat as her tone has gone almost as chilled as the room. The end of the pizza slice is stuffed in her mouth, and by the time the dubstep from hell feeling start she's already followed the advice to move closer to Billy.

Forms appear. In a flash she's drawn and expanded her bow and already got an arrow ready. "Entering without asking first? That's a major party foul..."

She shoots the arrow, which erupts into a billowing smokescreen to hinder the weirdos' visibility. It doesn't matter who or what or why, they're unwanted company, and Emiko isn't about to waste the time determining why. She's gone straight into combat mode as she was trained, intruders in their HQ is all the reason she needs.

Billy Kaplan has posed:
"That's a lot of unexpected company," Kaplan quips. "I should have brought more babka. We're going to need some backup." The hood from Billy's cape has already gone up. Both the hood and cape seem to move practically of their own accord. "I want you guys to meet Hulkling, a new member of the team." Under his breath he murmurs, "I hope he's not in the shower."

Holding his arms up in the air, the reality bender murmurs, "Big and strong, come along." There is a shock of arcane energy as a portal opens and pushes a figure into the room. The only thing is that Billy screwed up this spell aaaaaaaand it's not exactly Hulkling who appears. Nettie Crowe is going to kick Billy's ass if he survives this.

Meanwhile, the futuristic soldiers spread out. If they are at all hindered by the smoke screen they surely don't show it. Two near the front grab some objects from their belts and toss them toward Bunny and Emiko. They skitter across the floor like ball bearings, and some sort of rapidly flashing yellow light emits from each one.

Cain Marko has posed:
The figure that comes tumbling out of the portal is... not green. He's Caucasian flesh toned. Some red up top on the head. The figure is around sevenish feet tall. Extremely broad at the shoulders, kind of rectangular in build overall. Muscles on muscles on muscles. And he's wearing... a pair of boxer shorts. Landing on his feet with a little grunt, the figure slowly raise to his feet. The bone from a drumstick is sticking out of his mouth as he stares around the room. Taking in the trio of youngsters, and then the dozen paramilitary types in the futuristic gear. None of them are particularly familiar. Wait... he might have seen Bunny at some point. He bites down on the bone with an irritated crunch.

"Alright. I'm gonna need an explanation for what the hell is going on, right now." His voice is a deep, rough rumble. Intensely bass, but alas without the smoothness of Barry White. Just deep. It goes well with his face, that looks like the sort of random thug you'd see at a dive bar, or working as henchman to some villain or another. Nothing about him particularly noteworthy other than his sheer size. His eyes go back to the military guys. They seem older. And that sort of uniform he's found usually means nothing good. His blue eyes narrow at them.

Bunny Macleod has posed:
"Rbwrbblebe brbbrble." <Nothing beats being summoned out of a shower.> Bunny mutters, and she moves.

Bunny's aim? Those lights on the floor as she pushes her goggles down, and uses her batons to try and sling them back to the soliders who sent them out!

    Gulp.

"Return To Sender!" she calls out, skating quick as she flicks her baton and them attempts to SMASH the nearest soldier in the Jujubees before --

That is a very big guy. That is a Very Very big guy.

"... hey, do you know Gabby Kinney?" she asks to Cain.

Her skate may still be planted in some dude's huevos.

Emiko Queen has posed:
Typical magic. So powerful, and so unreliable when you can't quite focus.

Emiko on the other hand doesn't wait to see what the rolling orbs do. She jukes back, adverting her eyes from the floor in case they are some manner of blinding light or such. An annoyance in comparison to the real threat intruding upon their lair.

The training to be a highly efficient and lethal combatant shows as she doesn't even wait to see how the gunk shot works out. She's already got more arrows drawn, this time pulling back three in her bow at once and firing them towards a trio of intruders. "Any idea who or what the hell these party crashers are?" she finally asks. The hulk of a man (but not the Hulk or the Hulkling) gets a raised brow, but there is more pressing matters to worry about. Or she's give Billy some ribbing over the misfired spell.

Billy Kaplan has posed:
"Oh shit!" Kaplan exclaims when he sees who he summoned. "You're not Hulkling! Friend or foe, dude? Because we kinda don't need any more foes right now."

Any metal that Bunny has on -- buttons, snaps, parts of her skates, jewelry, etc. -- attracts the little rolling ball bearings. They adhere to any metallic surface, even non-ferrous, non-magnetic metals. To her credit, Bunny sends several of the little devices back toward the soldiers. But as soon as they get close to any of the soldiers, the devices deactivate. Some sort of safety mechanism.

The ones that adhere to Bunny, however, start releasing debilitating electrical charges all over her body, painful and paralyzing.

*thub* *thub* *thub*

Three of the attackers teleport directly behind Wiccan. One of them is producing what seems to be a hypodermic needle of some sort.

The remaining soldiers seems to pay Emiko no mind. Perhaps they are, to their extreme detriment, underestimating her. Instead they are focused on the massive Juggernaut who, even dressed in boxers, is intimidating as hell. They release what seems like micro drones, almost like tiny flying robots that speed after Juggernaut.

Cain Marko has posed:
The question from Bunny draws Cain's attention back to her. He gives her a closer look. "Yeah... hey. Aren't you her girlfriend?" Okay. So. Doesn't look like the friendliest meeting between the two sides. But if this is a friend of Gabby, he supposes he knows which side he should help out. Instead of peacing out entirely. He rolls he neck, loud cracks sounding out like pistol shots. He ignores most of the soldiers after that, moving towards the one that appeared behind Wiccan. As he goes, he's engulfed briefly in a crimson light, one that quickly expands. He throws out a punch while still shining, and as it fades away, a growing fist fills the soldiers vision. The already towering man growing another good three feet, red armor and a domed helmet appearing on him. Some of them might recognize him now. Whether the punch lands, or the guy dodges out of the way, he'll then duck down to scoop Bunny up with one hand around her waist. He quickly pinches the various ball bearings, which unless they're made of vibranium or something should easily be crushed between his thumb and forefinger. "Alright. I'd give you guys a chance to leave. But my dinner got interrupted, and I need somebody to take it out on. Your asses are gonna fill in."

Bunny Macleod has posed:
Yep. There is plenty of metal around. Metal on her skates. In her batons. Her ears. Around her neck. Her wrist protectors -- "Oh -- ah ex-girlfriend, but we left on good--"Bunny is slowly being ball-berringed and then -- THUB THUB THUB -- she gives agonizing yelps of "TER-ER-ERM-OW-OW-OW!" as she'es electrified, going down on her skates and unable to get her balance up.

She's then scooped up and the ball bearings are brushed off by a giant meaty hand, provided he's able to get them all, and she exhales, her hair curled a little bit.

"THANK YOU." she states to Cain, and then uses her batons to bat any other balls away, still twitching a little bit.

Emiko Queen has posed:
That unmistakable armor. It's something you never forget, even if you've only ever seen it on the news or such. THAT is who Wiccan somehow summoned...

He, at least for the moment, seems to be more interested in the weird soldiers for whoopin' targets. He does have that sort of commanding presence, even before he put the armor on. Plus you have a magic slinger, and a roller girl with shields.

Emiko in comparison is just a girl with a bow. People that don't know the reputation of the Arrow family do tend to underestimate on appearances alone.

If they survive to realize the mistake is to be seen.

What she is, despite the small stature, is physically honed. She moves with light feet, with all the attention on Wiccan or Juggernaught at the moment, to leap at the back of one of the men and go for his neck with her small but strong fingers. The bow and arrow is just her weapon of choice. When needed she can be lethal with nothing but her own body, like a true assassin.

Billy Kaplan has posed:
At one point, there was a dude about to stick a needle in Wiccan's neck. The last thing he saw was Juggernaut's fist. His dead body slams against a wall and sends cans of soda flying everywhere. There is a small alarm sound and *thub* the dead body teleports away.

The flying micro drones that were sent at Juggernaut appear to be trying to inject him with something but their little stingers have no chance of piercing his skin. Seeing the giant as the obvious threat, three of the soldiers throw devices at Juggernaut's feet and some sort of chemical attempts to adhere the giant to the floor.

All of the electrical devices were successfully removed from Bunny's body, and the memory of the pain is all that remains as she regains full control of her faculties.

A fourth soldier was going to throw a glue grenade at Juggernaut, but Emiko took him by surprise. The grenade flies out of his hand back at his own face. The unthinkably strong adhesive covers his head and neck. His body hits the floor and teleports out. Some of the liquid splashes on Emiko's right hand, gluing the fingers and thumb together.

In an instant, an ancient, hoary staff appears in Wiccan's hand. He spins in place and smashes one soldier in the side of the head, discharging arcane electricity with the strike. *thub* The body vanishes.

Seven attackers remaining.

Cain Marko has posed:
Cain shrugs briefly at Bunny. "Ex, whatever. I'm sure she wouldn't want you hurt by whoever these bozos are." After putting her back on her feet, he turns back to the rest. He doesn't know most of them. But now that he's picked a side it doesn't really matter. He doesn't even look at the expanding mass of chemical adhesive growing around his legs as he strides forward, tearing through it as though it weren't even there and swatting at some of the drones as though they were mosquitos. He aims for wherever the largest grouping of the remaining soldiers is, and suddenly bursts out into a run. While it takes him a while to reach top speed, he's startlingly fast for his bulk all the same even across short distances. His feet pounding the ground like sledgehammers, probably damaging the flooring in the process. His shoulder and head lowering in that signature Juggernaut charge, intending to just bowl them over. He's trying not to kill them... but as shown by the first corpse that teleported away, he's not trying that hard. He's hoping at least one will make it, and will be interrogatable.

Bunny Macleod has posed:
    Soldiers on parade!

As each one of them is taken down they disappear -- but to *where*? Bunny gives a thumbs up to The Juggernaut, and she breathes out, trying to figure out her best range of attack. Billy's thinking with a stick, Emiko's got her arrows and the power of being underestimated -- and Bunny?

    Well.

She brings her hands with those bright pink wrist protectors up, and above the smoke and bogey balls on the floor she forms platforms.

"Red! Allez-oop!" she calls out, and she slings herself above the smoke and some of the flotsam and jetsam, the mutant utilizing her powers to hop over a rafter, and then come down on top of one of the soldiers, bringing her batons down to crack him about his temples!

"Wiccan - do you have ANY idea where these guys came from?!"

Emiko Queen has posed:
Emiko Queen takes a few quick steps back. Emergency teleports out. Well so much for hoping to incapacitate someone for questioning.

Emiko shakes her hand a few times, but the adhesive is already dried, and a test at trying to flex her finger is no good at pulling them apart. That's... annoying. If the wrong arrow got stuck to her hand she'd be in real trouble.

Well, we still make do with what one can do, and as she just proved she's hardly a lack of a threat. She's got one good hand, and the training to be good with either.

So what does she do? She grabs one of the cans of soda off the table, and whips it with deadly precision and all her strength at one of the soldier's heads.

Billy Kaplan has posed:
If there is a list of things you would rather see charging at you than Juggernaut, it is a small list indeed. He blasts through one...*thub*...two...*thub*...three...*thub**...four...*thub*...attackers. Perhaps their armor pulls them out if they die or become incapacitated. Surely Wiccan didn't kill his target with his staff. That's just not his style.

Then two more teleportations: this time teleporting in. Two figures dressed in robes of obvious futuristic design appear on the far side of the room. Their skin is blue and their ears arced. Whatever these creatures are, they share the ability to scowl -- deeply -- with humans. One of the two wizards gestures at Juggernaut as he charges through the soldiers and releases a magical bolt into the giant's back designed to keep him moving forward at an increasing speed.

The second wizard gestures toward Wiccan and *thub* *thub* *thub* three soldiers appear around the caster and grapple him to the ground. Their armor is releasing the same sort of painful, paralyzing electricity that the small beads did to Bunny. He lets out a pained scream.

Bunny's attack on her target is dead on. I mean, how would you /even/ see something like that coming. She smashes the side of the soldier's helmet, killing or incapacitating him. He teleports away.

The attack at whom Emiko launched a soda takes it full in the face of his helmet, but it has Coke Zero effect on him. He pulls a device from his belt and fires an energy bolt at Emiko.

Cain Marko has posed:
Cain is very good at moving forward. Slowing down, on the other hand, can be considerably harder. After stomping a quartet of soldiers into the ground, he doesn't manage to stop again before he's hit in the back with a magical booster rocket. A loud curse leaving the big man as he explodes through the side of the building and out into the street beyond, quickly crossing it and impacting with whatever is on the other side, creating a second Juggernaut sized hole. This probably continues for a while until either the magic fades, or he manages to dig his feet in enough to stop his momentum. Either way, he's angry about it. But they'll have a couple minutes without him to do what they're doing with Wiccan and the rest.

Emiko Queen has posed:
Emiko Queen maybe should of shook the can up first. "I don't know what they are," she retorts to Bunny, and pointing at one of the new arrivals of blue skin and wannabe Vulcan ears. "But those guys are definitely -not- human."

Alien would explain the super high tech. Or time travelers. Those are entirely possible too. She knows a few.

Doesn't help at the moment. A bolt of energy is fired across the room, striking the small archer square on. Emiko is knocked backwards, across the table, and onto the floor on the other side in a cascade of foot and beverages! There is a brief groan to show that she's still alive, but that magic laser or whatever knocked the wind out of her briefly.

Bunny Macleod has posed:
Bunny breathes out as her guy goes down. He vorps away, and she catches a couple more of their bucky balls. She winces a moment, and she looks up to the Weird Space Wizards.

And she breathes out , and she arcs her shield platforms again, and she loops herself back to Wiccan, her blue eyes wide as she breifly bubbles, trying to get him isolated from the balls -- and the interlopers!

"I can't hold this forever --" she breathes out, her eyes closing. She COULD dial up Invincible, but that might lead to Bad Things.

Billy Kaplan has posed:
Bunny's efforts are enough to push the three attackers away from Wiccan and free him from the paralyzing electrical field. He stands up, still gripping his staff, breathing in a ragged manner. As his hood billows and waves in response to some unseen, arcane wind, one might catch glimpses of a rage-filled expression on the young reality bender's face. He holds out the staff in front of him with one hand, the length of the implement extended side-to-side horizontally. "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" he yells out as he sweeps the staff from right to left. Forceful, mystic lightning accumulates along the length of the staff, crackling and dancing a dangerous dance. As Wiccan sweeps the staff slowly in front of him, lighting fires from the implement landing, one by one, on each of the remaining attackers. The lightning mostly misses any allies in the room, though there may be some small, unavoidable collateral damage amidst the arcane chaos. Each alien, in turn, *thub*'s out of existence as they are struck. Within moments, only the Young Avengers remain in the nearly destroyed room -- for even Juggernaut is presently a couple of buildings away at the moment.

Immediately, Wiccan turns to move in the direction where Emiko went down. He even makes it five whole steps before he collapses to the floor.

Cain Marko has posed:
After some time, the sound of crashing in the distance stops. Not too long after, more loud noises are heard as something large approaches the building once again. Form the direction they can figure it's the Juggernaut. He soon appears in the hole he put in their wall, his anger intense enough you can almost feel it coming off of him in waves. "Alright motherfuckers, I'm done playing around with yo-" He stops when he sees the Blue Dick Group is no longer there. His scowl deepens at failing to get his hands on the guys in the robes, but he still looks over the Young Avengers to see if any of them are badly hurt. Since they seemed to be focused on the kid with the stick, he checks him first. Squatting down at his side, and feeling the pulse in his neck with a finger that might be as thick as the young magicians own wrist. He grunts at feeling a pulse, then frowns at the other two. "Somebody gonna explain to me what that was all about? And why I'm here? Where is here, by the way?" It certainly still smells like New York. He could almost taste the hobos.

Bunny Macleod has posed:
"Wiccan!" Bunny states, exhausted, twitching, and she slowly makes her way, on skates no less, and as Juggernaught comes up, Bunny's ragged breathing, her ear bleeding a little, she turns to check Emiko.

"I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. They just.. they just showed up. And Wiccan's magic must have brought you? Maybe saught out the biggest, hardest hitter?" she guesses, her brain going at a mile a minute. For someone who presented as a Dumb Blonde, Bunny was surprisingly canny.

She collapses down, reaching for Emiko.

    "Arrow. /Red/. Wake up!"

Emiko Queen has posed:
The shouting and jostling gets a groan out of Emiko. Followed by a "Don't grab my hand!" Breath. "It's got their sticky shit on it." Another breath, and she grunts again as she used her elbow to push herself off the floor. "Whatever hit me, it was definitely not of this world."

Billy Kaplan has posed:
Slowly, Billy's eyes flutter open. He is immediately met by a huge Juggernaut in his face. "Teddy!" he says and wraps his arms as much as one can around Juggernaut and hugs him. "You came!" And he plants a big kiss on Juggernaut's cheek.

Clearly our young spellcaster is concussed.

Bunny Macleod has posed:
". . . no, no that's not a Teddy, Wiccan." Bunny pipes up "He's friends with my ex girlfriend."

Cain Marko has posed:
Cain looks startled when Wiccan hugs him and calls him 'Teddy'. More so when he kisses him on the cheek. He gives the young magic user a strange look, then sighs and pats him carefully on the head. "Sorry, kid. Wrong guy. I think you need to see a doctor though." He does scoop the concussed boy off the floor, carrying him to a couch or somewhere else comfortable and setting him down. "I didn't recognize those things, whatever they were. I'm sure somebody will though. Did they leave an of their little gadgets laying around?" He glances at the ground, looking for any spent electroballs or random bits of equipment that might have flown off of somebody when they were hit by way too many hundreds of pounds of him.

Bunny Macleod has posed:
Bunny just kind of leans back, raising her hand to her ear as her nose begins bleeding as she tumbles down to her butt, and just gives a soft breath out.

"I hurt all over." she mumbles. "You good 'sides the sticky fingers, Red?"

Billy Kaplan has posed:
Groaning and sitting up slowly after he is set on the couch, Billy pulls down his hood and starts rubbing his temples. He looks at Juggernaut and blinks a few times in absolutely confusion. Who /is/ that dude? Did that dude just kiss him?

Billy peers around the room. "Is everyone...okay?" He peers with concern at Bunny and Emiko. They look hurt but none too worse for wear.

"Let me ask you...ask you two a question," he says to Bunny and Emiko. The mage gestures in the direction of Juggernaut. "Do you both see this dude, too?"

Emiko Queen has posed:
"That jolt was rought, but I've lived through worse. How's Wiccan?" There he is, on the couch talking. "And--" Oh, of course Juggernaught is more annoyed than he is hurt. That checks. "Accident or not that you're here, thanks for the help big guy... Yes, he's really here."

Cain Marko has posed:
Cain grunts at that. "Yeah. Well. Gabby wouldn't want some of her friends to be killed. Or kidnapped. Or whatever they were trying to do." He looks down at Wiccan. "You seem like the one they were after. Any idea why?" It's not really his business. But he's hear, and those guys pissed him off. So he might as well look into it. Also he has nothing better to do.

Bunny Macleod has posed:
Bunny's adreniline gives out, and she just flops backwards. All skate and one slice of interrupted pizza means she's gonna be headachey and sick.

"Jus' need a minute." she mumbles.

Billy Kaplan has posed:
Slowly, Billy gets to his feet. "I don't know who they were. But I do know who you are and how you got here." The mage is starting to come to his senses. He moves to Emiko. He murmurs some mystic syllables and the glue fades away. "Are you alright?" he asks her before turning to look at Juggernaut. "I was trying to summon Hulkling, our newest teammate. He's..." A small redness comes to Billy's earlobes. "...also a big dude. I guess my magic got all twisted. I apologize for bringing you here against your will. But we wouldn't have fared as well without you. So you have my thanks."

Lastly, he moves to kneel next to Bunny to check on her.
