Bishop has posed:
Night had just fallen in the Central Park, normally it is a time for quiet jogging or crime. But tonight there are chants, angry ones, the sound of people rushing back and forth, trying to find someone. Flashlights, lighters, phones all shining around the park, people are grumbling back and forth as they move through the park. One thought, that is said over and over by many of those with the light sources. "Dangerous Freak."

The story was simple, a kid had come to the park a few hours ago, someone shoved him and he unlashed a wave of sleeping gas from his hands. Making a few people hit the ground, one of them cracked skulled taken into the ER. It was minor damage, but it was bad enough that someone pointed at the kid yelling get him, and others started to follow like little lemmings till many of them started to hunt for the teen in the park, it had just now reached the media.

Who would help this kid?

Emma Frost has posed:
It's been a long, long series of days for Emma Frost. Aliens beyond the mere exoticness that as the normal state of things in New York. So on a whim she's going out in a walk on Central Park after the Metropolitain Museum has closed and is simply going about. And then she goes to hear the sounds of people yelling.. And threatening..

And she advances in that direction. She's not picking up any of the other members of the team present, and it's a bit far from Mutanttown. Emma goes to head towards the men at a fast jog, not transforming. Just tracking the men that are going along like they're armed with torches and pitchforks.

Bishop has posed:
The men are moving around in circles, not seeming to truly have any ideas but shining lights this way and that each of them grumbling about the lack of a kid to beat or arrest or whatever they have planned out dark thoughts, rage motivating them forward through the park.

The target itself is hiding inside of a trash can, peeking out of it and than diving back down into it. Little mop of red hair, and blue eyes are peering out before he spots them, crouching down in the trash once more.

Emma Frost has posed:
She has to be careful here. On hiding herself.. But, she makes a point of confirming where the child is. Then to the men she goes to try and start to telepathically project auras. Careful, careful ones. She attempts to increase sensitivity to temperature. To bugs. To simmering. She goes to try and make those here chasing about looking for a child start to sweat massively.

Like the area just started feeling like a swamp. Emma's going to try and do it in a wide enough area to make everyone running about start panting heavily.

Bishop has posed:
The kid is scared, the fear is easy to find for the powerful telepathic woman.

The men's rage is feels like a wave of heat, they are feeling it and everything going bad for them. A few of them hitting at bugs, as they flee this part of the park, they had checked it enough right.

Emma Frost has posed:
The bugs are rising, the mosquitos are buzzing, and the men are hopefully sweating up a storm. Emma can't change the weather, but with telepathy she can change the body's response. With the right nudges she can adjust hormones, tweak nerves, and draw up sensations. She takes a breath as the men scatter - it will hoefully hold as they go elsewhere.

"Child? I know where you are. It's safe to come out. Are you hurt?"

Bishop has posed:
The voice of the men are off in the distance, that child once more peeks out of the trash can. His eyes are on Emma and than he climbs out slowly, he brushing himself off. He is dressed in a hole filled windbreaker, and a ripped jeans with a pair of ratty beat up sneakers showing off a few of his toes. "Hello....is it truly safe?" His voice is comes out shy, mouse like as he walks towards her now, in little timid steps at Emma.

Emma Frost has posed:
Emma Frost would sigh, "It's never truly safe, child. But the men are away for now and with thier attention diverted hopefully they'll let things be for awhile." ANd she'll still try to keep on monotiring them telepathically as best she can while trying to ensure they stay herded away.

Sharon Smith has posed:
The purple haired Catseye walked right up to the maelstrom, a distracted, but thoughtful look in her eyes. She was dressed up in Easter colors... or at least her 'version' of Easter colors. It was a hodgepodge outfit, some of which fit, most of which didn't. She was at least colorful? The reason for her distraction seemed to revolve around the small, plastic Easter egg she held beneath her nose.

Bishop has posed:
The sound of more voices can be heard, not the same men but more of the those seeking the boy. Lights are flashing over the trees, they are almost here able to see the others, they are muttering angry. "That freak hurt that man, we got to take care of business. Why I went home to get my pistol Pete." The voice is rings out in rage, a pistol with a flash light taped to the top of it can be seen peering behind a tree.

THe Teen is rushes towards the garbage again, as he lands down on the ground. With a loud thump, he is about to start crying feeling trapped now.

Emma Frost has posed:
Emma Frost would close her eyes, "Oh, bother. Ah, Catseye? Can you please get the men away from here or at least sidetracked while I help our friend? I'll buy you a tuna afterwords." Hopefully that was the sort of incentive that would get the pluckily attired cat who had mutated into a human's enthusiasm up.

Sharon Smith has posed:
Sharon Smith looked around for Emma. "I'm not..." she said aloud before fading into a huff. Catseye simply wasn't used to telepathic talk. She slumped her shoulders and decided to briefly help Emma with her cause. The young woman walked right up to Pistol Pete, leaning up onto her toes to press against his back, holding up her pink plastic egg. "Have you seen any more of these?" she asked, leaning up further to glance down at his pistol. "I agree with hunting down the Easter Bunny, but I feel we should capture her, not shoot her."

The man stands there confused looking at Sharon and than at the egg, a look of what what what what. "Mmmm...yeah...not shooting the easter bunny." He sounds well out of it now, he looks behind him at his friend as they starts to back up slowly from the crazy woman. "Yeah, we will go elsewhere to find the bunny, yep and you stay safe."

The teen is up again now, watching it all as he runs towards the exit of the park at full tilt, he is not stopping heading all the way back to Muntant Town. Leaving both of them alone in the park.
