Catseye is a shape-shifting mutant who abandoned at birth by her parents. Her abilities allowed her to shape-shift into cat form, which is how she lived most of her life. She was recently taken in by Xavier's school to help educate and adapt her to the world.

Origin:
While many mutants manifest their powers sometime around puberty, Catseye's powers manifested at a very young age. She was either lost or abandoned by her parents as an infant, and was essentially raised as a cat. Her feral upbringing heavily influences her behavior. She primarily sees herself as a cat who can become human, rather than a human that can transform into feline form.

She was accidentally discovered by Emma Frost, who brought her to the Xavier's school for the gifted. It took some time to bring her out of her catlike shell and comfort zone, but she proved to be a remarkable student.'

Timeline:
* 2002: Born into a normal, human family.
* 2003: Displays mutant abilities of shapeshifting, is abandoned or lost by her parents, and is adopted by a stray cat.
* 2020: Is discovered by Emma Frost and brought to Xavier's School.

Artistically Inept:
She has a bad taste in fashion, music, and other arts. The things she finds compelling or interesting are often alien to the average observer.

Introvert:
Sharon tends to express herself through action rather than speech. She finds talking either awkward, annoying, or difficult.

Razor Claws:
Incredibly strong claws capable of piercing flesh and many natural materials. She can even use them to climb a sheer, vertical wall with relative ease, if the material they are constructed from is favorable enough.

Shape Shifter:
Sharon can shapeshift between the form of a small cat, a panther, human, to any hybrid form inbetween. While she can generally control the size, shape, and color of these forms, she seems restricted to either cat-like or human shapes.

Superhuman Senses:
Her sense of hearing, sight, and smell are leagues above the average human. These abilities are linked to her shapeshifted forms.

Superhuman Strength:
Her mutant abilities prove her stronger than most humans, being able to jump twice her height or break a bone with ease. Her strength is only amplified when she is in a hybrid or panther form. In human or cat form, her strength is relative to the average cat or human.

Catlike Senses:
In tune with the world around her, she often picks up on subtle sights, sounds, and smells that many people tend overlook or ignore.

Intelligent:
Despite a lack of formal education as a child, Catseye proves to be remarkably intelligent, with a keen sense of deduction. She progressed from complete illiteracy to upper-gradeschool reading levels in less than a year. She seems able to grasp complicated subjects despite limited, or incomplete knowledge.

Photographic Memory:
A remarkable memory that allows her to pick out details from obscure situations. She is able to learn very quickly, despite having little empirical knowledge.

Fickle:
She has no investment in usual social norms, and might leave mid conversation. It becomes difficult to decide what subjects she may or may not find 'worth her while.'

Hard Headed:
Her intelligence offers her the opportunity to come to calculated conclusions rather quickly. It is also very difficult to change her mind.

Uncouth:
Sharon lacks any sense of social etiquette. She is terrible at reading body language, has a hard time picking up on sarcasm, and is at a significant risk of going full Little Mermaid when she is handed a fork. She at least seems to understand her lack of social skills, and works hard to improve herself, but she is still very awkward in most social settings.

The creature is destryed without mercy, and soon the team enters the spire. They arrive at a lab full of more alien technology, and discover the missing Doctor Tanya Anderssen in a suspension pod, also showing Brood-like features. As they investigate ways to free or help her, a hologram activates to taunt them in the form of the apparent 'false goddess' of the Aerians, before sealing the POWER-DAMPENED room as it fills with what is almost certainly some very, very bad mist!
