Don't Drink the Water II
Date of Scene: 25 May 2024
Location: Tijuana, Mexico
Synopsis: The Outsiders found a cyborg storage area and one of the Sinaloa Cartel suspects, but she ran! TBC
Cast of Characters: Conner Kent, Carrie Kelley, Laura Kinney, Rose Wilson, Kiden Nixon

Conner Kent has posed:
The search for the cyborged gangers have brought the Outsiders to Tijuana, a city in Mexico just at the border with the US. Here the largest of the gangs, the Latin Locos, do much of the recruiting for their operations in Brooklyn. And it seems they retreated here when the FBI went after them.

As a matter of fact, every points to them being a branch of the Tijuana Cartel that controls crime in this region of Mexico. Further investigation hints the Tijuana Cartel is striking back against the more powerful Sinaloa Cartel, and for the first time in years, they are very clearly winning. Are they using cyborgs? Very likely! Hacked police and forensic records strongly points to the use of advanced technology on the part of the local Cartel.

So, the Outsiders went snooping. Which involved a bit of tracking gang hangouts... and tacos, and drinks. Most places operated by gang members seem empty or have changed owners. Carrie, from the fancy hotel rooms Tim got them, scouted the city with drones and hacked her way around. Bart and Conner went for the suburbs. Laura, Rose and Kiden took the streets. Finally, as the sun is setting, they got a positive. A church, of all places. But to Laura's nose, it smells wrong. To drugs and rot.

It stands between a gentlemen's club called Thongs and Tequilas and a sleazy motel. Carrie believes all three places belong to Cartel members. She is scanning with specialized droned for underground areas, and everything hints the church has a very large one, going under the club, too.

Carrie Kelley has posed:
Carrie sends out the 3d scans to those who have devices on them. Not everyone does and she suspect Conner can already see the tunnels. << "Herofolk, we have a seeeecret tunnelll just begging to be intercepted. When I figure out where it leads. But rattle them cages and I'm sure we'll have bad guys fleeing in to it before we know it." >>

One of her drones wizzes off away from the building trying to map where the underground meets the sewers; or perhaps their own custom made hole that goes - well who knows where. This is their town after all and they've been here a long time.

With gears set in motion she has one last little bit of aid to send the team's way. The drone staying in the area moves over head of Rose and drops its package. It is well assumed Rose is going to catch the swords - or else Carrie is going to have to write a really good apology letter. She grabs her portable batcomputer and heads on down to find a taxi and head to the mission.

Laura Kinney has posed:
As part of the field operations team Laura is close enough to the three buildings to pick up scents that are never promising. Rotting meat. Either something bad happened here or it's where they've been making the cyborgs. Which is still something bad. It's just the sort of bad they're expecting.

The petite mutant glances between the strip club and the motel. And then shrugs at Rose. "I guess I'll take the motel. If we're splitting?" Her clutch has a silenced handgun. Low calibre but still dangerous enough to unarmoured targets. "Delphi, Flux you want to hit the main church building when you're on site?" Who knows what sort of remote weapon drones Carrie packed in her luggage. Maybe she'll be telepresence drone fighting!

She begins to briskly advance on the motel. Using her body to shield her weapon from view. Eyes up, darting from motel room to motel room, alert for potential threats.

Rose Wilson has posed:
If these people were smart, and Rose would begrudgingly admit they've got a few brain cells on hand to rub together, this church is going to have at least one sneaky express exit. If they go inside, subtly or loudly, there's a greater than zero chance some people are going to slip out while the pawns hold the line. Carrie is able to confirm as much, which now has the one-eyed scrapper eyeing up the neighboring club in particular.

"There's enough of us to split" she confirms to Laura, then in typical brazen Rose behavior starts making a move on the club as she has seemingly decided which of the two she's going to be 'covering' here. Before getting far she hears a chime and looks up right in time to catch the airdropped delivery with her name all over it.

<< Going to make friends with the bouncer >> she informs the others on her way to the door.

Now, a typical Ravager approach would be to push her way inside and break the nose of anyone who tried to stop her...but she's worked as a bouncer before. She knows what it's like! And now she's trying to get inside, without waiting nor paying, with a large bag with /something/ in it which very clearly does not belong in a club. So she chats up the bouncer. It takes her a moment and a little palm-greasing but before long she's slapping the big guy on the shoulder then marching straight inside.

Who knows how much she lied to pull this little stunt off.

Conner Kent has posed:
The club is definitely much, much more popular than the church or the motel. At least today and at this time of the afternoon. There is a line of men and some couples, but apparently girls coming alone can enter free, so Rose has no problems. A few burly bouncers are there to ensure a small measure of order among the usual chaos. But folks are behaving, it is early for drunken brawls and everyone seems more interested in having a good time. Because of the chaos, she might miss the sign stating 'Wet T-shirt Contest Day!' If so, getting sprayed with water by a laughing waitress just as she is through the door might be quite the surprise.

Meanwhile Laura sneaks into the motel. There is a yawning guy at reception, but if she doesn't go to talk with him, he says nothing, just giving her a sleazy once-over. He probably assumes she has a 'date' here. The place is rundown, with narrow staircases and hallways. It seems mostly empty, they probably do more business later, as 'couples' come to spend a night after meeting in clubs (or back alleys).

Meanwhile Kiden finds the door of the church closed, although the lock is pretty easy to pick given the means of the Outsiders. Once inside the church seems quiet and dark, although it is rather hot inside, and the smell is definitely not good.

Carrie Kelley has posed:
It doesn't take Carrie too long to make it to the trio of suspect buildings. Unlike the rest of the team who searched the city she knows exactly where to go. Paying with physical money is the way here which works for her - no digital signature to scrub. She thanks the Taxi driver as she gets out and then eyes the options.

Being somewhere in person is always different to watching through a drone. All the real life clues hit your ears and nose. << "I'm here," >> she states and then walks to the church. Through the big doors and the echo of a large room filled with empty pews. Carrie is not a religious person but she does appreciate the awe church architecture creatures. She isn't here for confessional though. She's here to snoop.

Laura Kinney has posed:
The motel itself probably isn't really of interest to the team as it's separated from the Church proper. And the receptionist? Even less so. But there's still the risk some of the rooms could be hiding goons or might have carefully placed watchers who can phone for help. So it's best for the operation to clear it.

Ideally as quickly as possible. Given time is important when storming a potentially hostile building X-23 breaks into sudden sprints once she's past the prying eyes. Getting in close to the building, darting from door to door, giving each a sniff. Listening for threats with her super hearing.

It's not an exhaustive search but with the thin walls it's not going to be hard to smell firearms or hear the talk of goons. If the place is clear? Well she can either leap from a window onto the Church roof (if the building is tall enough) or go through the wall if it's not. Either way some SNIKTING will be involved. But the unexpected angle of attack should hopefully give her the element of surprised if needed.

It's also Plans A through H if any of the rooms have threats inside. Snikt and breach.

Kiden Nixon has posed:
With Rose claiming the club and Laura hitting up the motel, Kiden gets the church. This ought to be good. The recreational-drug-using raver partygirl going to the church. Hehehehe. SURELY NOTHING BAD WILL COME OF THIS. Still when the call comes in through the comms, she slips into an alcove as soon as she can to respond.

<< "Already in the church. Stinks like week old garbage from the Greek butcher shop over on 7th Ave in the middle of July. Also, be prepared to sweat balls. Will check in after I've sourced the stink. X, you might want filters. >>

She slips off into No Time so she can thoroughly examine the area without giving herself away, looking here and there and grateful that with her body in stasis, the smell can't reach her here. Mindful of there being a secret tunnel entrance somewhere as well, she keeps an eye out for anything that looks like it might be hiding a quick exit.

Rose Wilson has posed:
Rose is still a young (and reckless) woman, who is occasionally prone to doing young woman-like things. Such as shrieking in surprise shortly after gaining entrance to the club. It is a very un-Ravager-like sound and more akin to if one of the boys on the playground dropped a spider into her hair. From inside the club there's a lot of laughing and cheering which immediately results.

There is also one veeeery ornery Outsider who is doing everything within her power not to knock the lights out of whomever is unfortunate enough to be standing closest to her.

Just wait, Rose. Don't start a riot yet! There will be proper things to punch soon.

At least she's nice and cool now...

<< These guys are real friendly. You should all come check it out before we leave >> she comms in a tone completely devoid of emotion.

Well, she's made it inside and they're looking for tunnel routes, so she's now searching for stairs or anything back room related which would likely also contain basement access.

Conner Kent has posed:
The club is not packed yet, but going that way. Much of the crowd is in the dance floor, but the bar is also pretty full. More men than women, but not for much; most women, including the waitresses, wearing wet clothes from the waist up. Rose gets invited to dance three times and to have a drink like six, before she manages to sneak into the back rooms. It takes a while.

The Church seems to have been abandoned a few months ago. Or at least in disuse. Although it has not been looted, most decorations of any value have been taken away, and it is dirty, dusty. It is small, so it lacks the nice architecture and awe factor. Particularly when compared with the splendid neo-gothic churches of Gotham. Kiden no-time exploring finds little. The back office has been used recently, and there seems to be a cellar, or crypt, but it is protected by a thick metal door and a much better lock than the one in the front door.

Laura finds no windows on the side of the church, or other ways into there. There is just a wall. But she can jump from the roof to the church and sneak in through one of the upper windows. In fact there are only upper windows, so that works. Stabbing her way through the wall, although not impossible, would have taken at least twenty minutes.

It is definitely too hot in the church, much warmer than outside. There seem to be air conducts venting hot air in the upper areas of the church, so it can go out through the open windows and spaces at the top.

Carrie Kelley has posed:
One doesn't need a cape to be part of the batfam and do their work. They just prefer it. Connie would much rather be dressed as Delphi right now than tourist - but you work with what you've got. The goggles go on as she meets up with Kiden. "Anything interesting? Besides this?"

And by this she means the big steel door she found pretty quickly. She already has her tools out - electronic intrusion and a regular lockpick set. What bat doesn't enjoy a little bit of lock picking or keypad hacking after all.

"I really don't see the church having much use for a big steel door so I guess the cartel installed this for their own use. I'm not much for praying but it's kind of sad to see this building losing its purpose. Once the neighbourhood goes to crap because of the gangs the gangs move in proper. A real parasitical relationship."

Kiden Nixon has posed:
Kiden appears from seemingly thin air to offer a smile, "Hey. Nothing except this door and a really big stink that doesn't seem to have a source. Which means it's probably behind the big steel door. So grab the Ben-Gay if you've got any. Or Vick's. Vick's works too." She posts up at a wall near the cellar/crypt door, keeping up a good scan of the area.

"Eh. Most churches typically want me and mine dead, so I'm okay with the church going away. Organized religion is for suckers anyways." She lifts a small shrug and checks in with the others. << "We've got a big steel door with some decently impressive hardware on it. Delphi is using her keys, you guys are welcome to join the party if you want. Pretty sure the stink is downstairs." >>

Laura Kinney has posed:
With the motel largely having nothing of interest. A few rooms of unaware gang members that find their doors swinging open only to be disabled by a rapid snap snap snap of suppressed handgun fire. Down and disabled like ticking boxes off a checklist so trivial she doesn't even think to call it in. They'll be fine. They've only been shot a little bit. Probably.

If anyone asks they were alive when she left them.

By the time she's near the top of the building adrenaline has built so that by the time she's run out of motel floors to check? It's roof time. Any lookouts are given the same treatment as the goons. Pace still full throttle she leaps over to one of the churches open windows. Empty magazine discarded mid-leap as she reloads.

And in an act of perfect timing just as Kiden suggests they join the party she crashes through an upstairs window, vaults over a narrow walkway, and drops in.

Probably it's awful on her legs. But hey that's what her healing factor is for. "Motel is pretty much cleared."

Rose Wilson has posed:
For as easily as Rose can copy another's physical motions she has a much harder time pushing her way through emotional responses and conversations. By the end of her attention gauntlet the thorns have started to join the chat and her attempts at not being a complete raging bitch are rapidly waning.

Just in time for a little privacy in the back. Which starts with her squeezing as much water out of her shirt as she can. THEN comes the snooping around.

Keeping track of where the church is in relation to the club is no problem but any secret passages aren't guaranteed to be directly connected. These cartel goons just /love/ their hidden tunnel networks. She's more expecting to find a loose floor panel or trapdoor somewhere rather than an actual stairwell into a basement area, but who knows?

All she knows is she's leaving a trail of water droplets wherever she goes which is, as they say, not ideal.

<< I've got nothing more than a party I've been unexpectedly pulled into >> she tells the others. << They're either real good at hiding or they've left the area. >>

The distinct calm has her further on edge (which surely has nothing to do with getting sprayed down with cold water a moment ago,) leaving the scrapper to partly unzip part of the bag in case she needs quick access to a long stabby implement. At least Carrie and Kiden seem to have found something..? Maybe?

Conner Kent has posed:
The metal door had a sophisticated alarm, too. The first real challenge of the day. It took Carrie a few minutes to dissemble. Behind, a gust of cold air, and old stone staircases leading down into what might have been crypts decades ago. Now it smells of chemicals, ice and rotting flesh.

Rose's finds an area at the back of the club. A room with a couple guards that doesn't look like the friendly bouncers of the door. These guys are obviously armed and they must have cameras around, because as Rose comes closer, one of them steps out and glares at her. <What are you doing here? This area is restricted!> Spanish, of course. If Rose shows no signs of understanding, he translates. "Get out of here, you dumb gringa. Not allowed here!"

Carrie Kelley has posed:
Carrie smirks at Kiden. "Do what you need to do. The trick to dead body smells is to breath through your mouth," she says as she remembers the first time she was around a dead rotting body with Batman. He was oh so quick to catch her puke up in a bag so she didn't contaminate the scene with a big pile of her DNA.

"Dulling or burning your smell senses leaves you at a disadvantage later." Oh the strange bat-logic that comes out of the mouths of Carrie, Tim, Dick, Jason, Damian.. it all comes back to Batman.

With the door open and a slightly satisfied smile on her face she opens up her backpack and clips on her utility belt. Next the gloves and weapons until the backpack is empty. She's ready to go. "Now the real fun begins."

Sneaking down to scout out the area is not really the Outsiders way. Instead there's a Kiden who can zip through and find out where the next blockage is. Or Conner who can presumably see right though the ground - she's not quite sure on that front. Either way she begins sculking down in to the crypt where she is now expecting to find the remains of an drug cutting factory extinguished with the bodies left to rot.

Laura Kinney has posed:
"Some of us have been having fun all day," X-23 says earnestly. And someone has. Her. Searching for clues. Running down leads. Topped off with some very one sided gun fights. It's like she's on vacation! "You should come into the field more often. Mix things up from command operations."

During the time it takes Carrie to finish with the door Laura paces the inside of the church. Getting an idea of the dimensions. Sniffing the air and listening out for any unusual sounds coming from bellow.

It's entirely possible whatever sounds she might pick up on will be drowned out by Rose in the strip club though.... But hey Rose will be Rose.

Once the door is open she'll take a position on point or close enough. Flux can no time scout. But if anyone does start shooting? Well better they fire at her than Carrie. One of them heals. The other is without her suit. An easy decision really.

Sadly she doesn't need to be an oracle to know the rotting smell is going to get worse. She is at least used to such things.

Kiden Nixon has posed:
Kiden waits until the door is open, relaxed and waiting, holding up a wall with her lean. She might even be playing Angry Birds while they wait. She's got time. She's got ALL the time. Once it's open, she's blinking out of the timeline with a smile and heading into No Time to scout around.

She doesn't bother with the ladder. No fall damage in No Time! Once at the bottom, she starts poking around. Taking her time, really digging into the nooks and crannies. Because it's all counted in less time than it takes to start a call.

Besides, for all her flippancy, she doesn't want her friends hurt, and if she can find the traps and triggers and pitfalls and bad guy locations safely... why not? Cheat codes for life!

Besides, if she's lucky, she might get to wreak some havoc before they call it and go back to the beaches and the sun and the drinks!

Rose Wilson has posed:
At last! Bad guys! Even if these goons aren't associated with the cartel guys they're hunting for, Rose knows bad actors when she sees them. These guys have cameras, weapons, and numbers. This means something.

It means she has a chance to party. Despite being down an eye she's able to scan the room in a hurry, mentally tag camera locations, numbers, where weapons can be seen... And she smiles.

It is not a nice smile.

It's a one sword operation. Steel clears scabbard and bag with the latter being dropped to the floor, this soggy scrapper is already on the move. Balls of the feet, twist, slash, upward slice, duck, thrust, twist, arc, and cleave. What cameras she can see are cut. What guards had been present are bleeding out on the floor. The one left twitching the most gets stapled to the floor as she rounds up the nicest looking weapon out of the bunch then goes about slinging the scabbards across their rightful place at her back.

<< Finally got some thugs, there's something here after all. >>

Inside she finds her stairwell, and an extra surprise. The place isn't empty but the people who are left look like they're working the lab rather than keeping guard. Rose takes a long breath and works out what she's able to make up from sights and smells, not quite as on the spot as someone like Laura would be when determining << Got a fentanyl lab down here. >> One which she plans on checking out. If those lab rats know what's good for 'em they won't give her any trouble.

Conner Kent has posed:
The church basement is still short of a crypt, only a frozen one. Three dimly lit rooms at the left of a corridor are cold storage rooms where two dozen men and women stand, half-frozen, their flesh showing sings of decay and the source of the foul smell. But they are attached to life support equipment, so not quite dead; if anything can survive the cold, they are sleep. At least some are breathing, although very slowly.

Further examination shows they are not fully humans. Parts are metal, showing under the decayed skin.

Deeper into the basement, there is the noise and hum of computers and high-tech equipment. And distant voices, which might come from the basement of the club, not the church. Also, some kind of alarm.

Meanwhile, Rose easily stabs and kicks the pair of guards, leaving them bleeding on the floor. The room had screens for some cameras, both in the club and the hallway outside. Nothing too fancy, enough to guard the door to the drug labs. There are half a dozen workers there, but they are unarmed and back down when Rose walks down with a sword in a hand and a large gold-plated revolver (spoils of war!) in the other. And a wet t-shirt, lets not forget that. One of them was pro enough to hit the alarm, though. It is kind of loud.

Carrie Kelley has posed:
Carrie was expecting to come up against cyborgs - just not like this. "Holy custom organ components.." she whispers under her breath as she sees quasi-frozen humans with machine parts. She isn't quite sure how to process this kind of body horror.

She does think may be waking them up would be a bad idea - so she backs off and whispers to the team, << "I think I hear servers - I'm going down deeper where I can play the information retrieval game." >> She heads down deeper in to the basement toward what might be machines, what might be computers, and what is quite likely an alarm of some kind.

Laura Kinney has posed:
"Honestly? Better we put them out of their misery now," Laura suggests. Glancing between the frozen cyborgs. "Retrieve any hardware and get the data off that." And yes she does appreciate this means removing bits of the cyborgs. But the thing is. Laura's disguised as a tourist in an outfit that does not include pockets. So while she's happy to remove any necessary bits. Well she's calling not it on carrying them back.

Various chemical tanks get sniffed and studied. Looking for clues as to what they've been up to down here. Probably if there were any written notes left out saying 'evil schemes here' Kiden would have found them in No Time and mentioned it. But never hurts to take a second look. Just to be thorough.

Alarms do mean the risk of incoming hostiles. So her silenced (really it's a suppressor if you want to be technical) handgun remains ready for pinpoint shots.

Kiden Nixon has posed:
"I'd agree. Especially if whatever the alarm system is will wake them up when tripped. Last thing we need is somebody hitting a button or something and suddenly we're facing off against half-rotted, mostly-dead cyborgs. In a crypt." Kiden lifts a shrug at Laura before moving to examine how they're all wired up. If they're lucky, maybe there's a simple plug they can just yank out of the wall to cut the power that seems to be keeping the machines going.

Rose Wilson has posed:
And just like that: Alarm! Yep, someone aaaalllways has to hit the damn alarm... Rose doesn't stop walking through the lab nor so much as turn her head to look, she simply levels the fancy new gold plated .357 toward the poor soul who tripped the alarm and pulls the trigger. She doesn't even care where she shoots the guy, not her problem! With the alarm already tripped the thunderous boom of the magnum going off indoors is only adding to the existing racket.

On second thought... NOW she's going to have a headache, which just upsets her further. She ends up stopping further along to turn and put a second bullet into the guy, this time with more thought to her shot placement.

"Idiot."

<< Take a guess >> she tells the others, confident they'd hear at least some of the commotion from her part of the local underground. << Maybe now we'll get some frickin' excitement around here. >>

Buuuut this is a fentanyl lab. Not the cyborg crew they were looking for. Related? Unrelated? It feels like there's a missing link. She's still interested to see if this area connects up with the church at all, now if for no other reason than so /she/ has an exit route!

Conner Kent has posed:
Carrie finds the machines, yes. And an attractive young woman hooked to them in a not-so-cold room. In fact, it looks a lot like Carrie's own hacking station, but the woman is Nina Cruz, one of the Latin Locos gangers in Brooklyn, suspected of a long list of crimes, but never caught.

And as Carrie shows up, wires detach from her neck and scalp and she glances at the redhead and gives her a cold smile. "All the way from Gotham, just for me?" Then she jumps off her computer chair, surprisingly quick, to shoot a few times in Carrie's direction with a small handgun. Then he bolts through the other door.

Kiden was right, by the way, the half-rotten cyborgs (some of them) suddenly wake up and attack Laura and her. They move more like zombies than the humans, but still quite fast.

Meanwhile, Rose can hear the gunshots in the distance. One of the side corridors to the drug lab definitely leads to the basement under the church, and the rest of the team.

Laura Kinney has posed:
Laura is expecting the sudden jolt to life. Unlife. Somewhere in between? Honestly it's hard to tell but judging by the smell a quick ending seems like mercy. She's practically holding the handgun against one of the cyborgs heads. Opening fire with no regard for ammo conservation. A claw sweeping through the occupant of the next nearest bed while she's still pulling the trigger. Probably going right through the chair it was strapped into too.

The momentum from the strike turns her round into a whirling kick, foot claw extended, she didn't bring a vast supply of ammo but now feels like the time to use it. Putting shots into every target of opportunity.

If they're still alive enough to have a self preservation instinct that kick'll ward them off a little while she shoots. And if not? Well it'll bisect just about anything that gets close.

< I wish the excitement smelt a little nicer. > She subvocals into the comms. < Flux don't even think about throwing me this time! >

It won't be long before she's out of ammunition though. Small easy to conceal weapons don't exactly have a huge capacity. Once she's out? Well she throws the gun too. For whatever distraction it might provide!

Rose Wilson has posed:
A-HA! There's the missing link! Rose starts to make a run for the connecting corridor but hesitates prior to exiting the lab, giving it one more glance around. It seems a shame to walk away from so much potential... Even if she didn't use the stuff on herself, there's profit to be made here. Or at the very least, an impressive fire waiting to be set.

But there are people in the club above. Some of them might even be innocent. The waitress who hosed Rose down was kinda cute, too...

Grr.

Deciding there's no good place to stash a handful of stolen drugs which she would then also have to smuggle /in a Batjet/ across the border she lets it go and hustles to reconnect with the others. Besides, it sounds like they might be up to some more trouble which means /Rose wants in on it./ That is definitely the sound of gunfire!

Just don't ask why she looks like she got in a fight with a fire suppression sprinkler.

Also maybe don't shoot and/or stab her when she comes into view. She goes through more outfits that way...

Carrie Kelley has posed:
This was not quite what Carrie had expected when she thought about going after drug lords with cyborg implants. A full hacker set up and a netrunner-esque plug in. May be she was installing updates to her gear. Still she has style and panache, quippy intro, everything you want in a villain.

"Just for y-" Carrie begins to reply but as the swift move draws a gun she dives to the side. Nina is on the move. She is quick to go to comms << "Nina Cruz is here. She's trying to flee" >>

Carrie rolls back up to her feet and takes a step. Her body wobbles despite what her brain is telling her to do. She grabs the wall and feels the world swirl around her. "Damn," she comments to herself and looks down at the growing red patch on her torso.

Quickly she pulls out a ball from one of her utility belt pouches and presses it to the wound, crushing it causes a chemical reaction that expands it rapidly to fill the hole the bullet left behind. It takes a moment to add extra structure inside where that wound is.

A shake of her leg a few times before she pushes off the wall. The pain is intense but this isn't the first time she's been shot. She limp walks and pushes through that in to a run - Cruz has quite a head start now. Gotta catch the king pin.

Conner Kent has posed:
"Help me, ayuda..." one of the cyborgs is talking, barely a whisper. He (maybe she) is trying to grab Laura with metal arms that are full of unpractical spikes. Maybe not so unpractical if Laura gets grabbed. Another, armed with blades instead of hands, has still human, unrotted eyes, and they are full of pain and fear. Main problem is the one with the flamethrower. There is not much space to dodge! And shooting that one in the head is not slowing him down. Brainless, it seems.

Meanwhile Rose arrives at the computer room just in time to see Nina vanish through a side door that was not there a second ago. Proper villainess indeed, she even has secret doors. A second later the computers explode, or more like implode, there is little shrapnel, just a mess of computer components. If Rose chases Nina, she is going to have to run at top speed, as the woman must have cybernetic stuff in her legs to be able to move that quickly.
